A few more for you: Added 71 (Phase 1) Added Jenks (Phase 2) Added Vill (Phase 1) Added Vill (Phase 2)

Wonderful, Delta! It looks big and bulky, yet still realistic and sort of good-looking. The interior looks a bit bigger, but more cramped. It's hard to tell from that one picture. I assume the pilots have screens and cameras, as the windscreen is in the middle with the pilots on either side? The engines look big and powerful, as would be needed on a big heavy ship like that. Great work!

Great entry, cole! I love the idea of building up the sort of 'behind the scenes' bit as well as the actual battles. Although the sets provide sufficient pilots and mechanics with the ships themselves, I like the idea and would probably get one anyway. If you were to imagine TLG making this product, would you want it to be exactly the same, or would you like new pieces included that you don't have access to (eg. new helmet & face designs, new parts entirely)? Good work.

Hello all. After a long while, I've carried on with my MS Paint clones and found a few more to make. Here they are: Added Faie (Phase 1) Added Faie (Phase 2) Added Clutch (Phase 1) Added Medical Officer

Good display, Mr Mando! I love the blood techniques! A nicely-constructed, yet still simple MOC. Well done.
-
Suitable. Well done again.
-
That seems like a bit much for $25, but a nice idea. It'd more likely be sold for about $40.
-
Great work, Bossk! I love the technique you used with the arms. It's looks wonderful. Well done.
-
Great work, FORCES! This ship is really good. It looks really long and sleek. I like how the front's open and the guns stick out at the sides. Is this made using only parts from Grievous' fighter? It might have been a bit better if you'd given it a name, though. Well done!
-
Very good, Jammiedodger! Some great positions and moves there. I really like the flame effect of Ventress' sabers. Well done!

Kiwi? I'm English. Given my title, I suppose I should know.

Wow! Thanks a lot, whung. These look great. It seems Navy Trooper Fenson's friend was right about the Imperial one. Are these 2009 or 2010 promos? If they're for 2010, they should be moved to the other thread.

I suppose I qualify as one of them. I had this thought too. If it is set during the early Clone Wars, Boba's armour and ship wouldn't be green, so he might still look like Jango. He paints the armour during the Clone Wars, so we don't know yet. I know Bossk's set to be included in the series and in this set. I don't know who else will be in this Slave I, though. If Han's in it, that would mean it's not CW-set.

I have all of them so far on DVD. I'm sure I'll keep watching them again after it's finished. The ending might be a little pointless if it carries on this way. They set it so that it all never really happened. Sort of like it was all a dream...

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
ADHO15 replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Brilliant work as usual, Penguin! They all look brilliant! Very well done! Can't wait to see more! -
Seeing as the series is still going strong, I thought I'd bump this topic up again and see if there are still any fans about. I finished watching series 5 today. I've loved it all so far. I'll be sad to see it end. Does anyone else still watch it?

Probably not, but as I said, people would buy it anyway, so they don't need to put much effort in. Even if it was the cave, the only fig would be Luke, or maybe a skeleton as well. They might throw a couple of rebels in, but they don't need to. If the price is low, they wouldn't need to put loads of figs in. The one would do.
-
Thanks for that. Maybe you could write what you like about it instead of writing something pointless like that.
-
It would be a lot less money and effort on LEGO's part to just release that and not have to design a cave. A set with a Hoth Luke, a wampa and a tauntaun; it'll easily anyway, cave or not.
-
Adding things like a dewback and cantina would make it just a re-release of the Mos Eisley Cantina set, which would be useless to many fans like me. Like Klaus-Dieter, I think a bantha and some Tuskens would be a much better idea. It might keep those rather loud Tusken-lovers happy too. It's called 'Wampa Attack', so it might be based on the Wampa's attack, ie. Luke on his tauntaun and the Wampa. Who knows? I don't bother modding them. Just because they're flickies, doesn't mean you have to flick them. They look good enough as guns. It might be an attempt to do what people do when they run out of ammo: throw your gun at them and run. I agree that the sandtrooper will have a backpack, as that and the pauldron are the only ways most people can tell them apart.

Well, it doesn't look like that's how it'll be on this one either. It looks like there's a whole for bombs again and/or to allow the cockpit to tilt upwards. We'll have to wait and see about that.
-
Well, it's not unlike TLG to load it up with flick-fire missiles and bombs. They might be bombs to drop out of the bottom, but I bet we'll see some flickies on it somewhere. Maybe the wing guns will be flick-fire like on the NR-N99 or AAT. Good spot.

Not all, but the movies are taken as canon, along with all the designs and models created for the movies. In these final designs, there's only one astromech droid, so a second would be very unlikely and pretty useless for the ship. There's no mention of any redesigns like that. Even the bomb chute isn't canon, but it adds to playability. A second astromech wouldn't really do that. How do you mean?

We're not back to discussing it here, we never stopped. We're discussing it here because this is the 2010 Picture and Rumour thread. We have pictures and rumours so I don't see what's wrong with discussing it here. Here we're talking about new sets that could come from or could have been seen in this video. In the 'Quest for R2' thread, there's a discussion about it, what people thought of it, what jokes you could see, etc. As long as we keep those separate, we're doing exactly what we're supposed to do here. If you want the thread to be dead until we have solid facts, then don't read all this. Simple as. I can agree, can't I? I didn't think there was anything wrong with the bomb function. It's not a ship that could fit much else in, so they may not design a new one. I would have thought they'd try to make it a bit more different than the last one.

The Penguin's Batman Comic Story - 2 )
ADHO15 replied to The Penguin's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Ooh, it's getting exciting and mysterious. I can't wait for more! The sets are still a bit basic, and the lighting dark, but as Pi said, it's not a problem for me, but maybe it could be for other people. Well done!
