Thank you, Pi! Good tip. I might try that sometime. Thanks a lot, Roncanator!

A very unusual design, but still fantastic. Well done, Darth Yoda!

Sounds confusing, but I'll do my best. A rough sketch would be greatly appreciated. By accessories, I mean kamas, pauldrons, visors, bandolier, etc. I've not designed any guns yet. Sounds good overall. I'll attempt it a little later on. As the only entry so far, you stand a good chance of winning. If nobody else enters, you'll win automatically. Get going people! I'll put a closing date on of 8pm GMT on the 18th of September. Any entries I get after that won't be counted.

I think that's supposed to be a Mark IV Sentry Droid, not a Jedi trainer droid, and the spy they're discussing is Garindan, as others have said. I just don't think he'll be in the set at all.
-
Good work, Penguin. Not your biggest MOD, but still nice. I prefer your longer version. I think it looks much better. I'm sure you don't mind if I use it too, do you? Great Lok Durd too, by the way!

A brain in a jar? Grievous is a little more than that. To quote myself yet again (): However, it doesn't look like Oswald saw it either as he hasn't made the corrections. There's no point making a list, if the information in it isn't right. If someone doesn't know who Ahsoka is, and they search for 'Ashoka' on Wookieepedia, they might not find her. It hardly hurts anyone to change a letter.

I understand your hopes, but he wasn't in the rumours before we saw the pics, and if he was in it, he'd be an outstanding LEGO character on the box, not something you have to comb the background for to get a glimpse of.
-
What defines a human? How much can you lose before you stop being a human? Just because he has mechanical additions, doesn't mean he stops becoming a Kaleesh. Cyborg isn't an acceptable species, so he must still be Kaleesh. It was finished, and you've continued it. I know how it is. It's sort of like how you've put it, except not quite. Koruns were capable of things normal humans weren't, such as common force-sensitivity within the whole race. It's more like wizards and humans.
-
What about this one? The last one was pretty good, so they'll have a hard time improving it on a large scale.
-
Postage shouldn't be too much on just one small set like that.
-
I'm afraid not. All the LEGO is focused around the middle of the picture. That's just background scenery.
-
Thank you! Ta, JD. I think I recall you mentioning it. You're right. I knew there was something else, but couldn't figure out what. I think I prefer the lower one. The droid has a better view and it looks more accurate. Thank you veru much, Trudop! I love STAPs, so this was a great way to get another blue one.

In the clips I've seen, it's just been Phase-1 pilots, so I don't know what we'll be getting. Those were the quickest pics I could get to.
-
Yes. I let him have it while you were typing.
-
Fine then. Have it your way. His 'home of origin' is Haruun Kal, by the way. I know. He asked, so I quoted myself. I have to try and fit my title. You've put 'Kalesh'. It's Kaleesh. And it should be 'Ten Numb', not Tein. You've missed off Mirialan as well (Luminara Unduli).
-
It's comments like that that get my title changed.
-
So? If he's Korun, that's what you should list him as. Wookieepedia: The species is Zabrak. 'Iridonian' is just a name falsely given to a Zabrak from Iridonia. This is an actual Iridonian. Grievous still has his brain and other organs, and therefore is still organic and not droid. He is Kaleesh. Would you say Darth Vader was a droid? I do know what I'm talking about. Korun isn't like just being from a certain planet. They're all force-sensitive, amongst other things. Corellian Humans are no different to Alderaanian humans, for example. Read up about it here, if you want.
-
How so? That's a nice head. Thanks, JD!
-
Not a bad idea, but adding pics would be better. Right, about the list: Boga is the name of Obi-Wan's ride on Utapau. It's species is actually varactyl. The proper name of the species of Iridionia (like Darth Maul) is Zabrak. Iridonians as an actual species are a very different, bloodthirsty, warrior species. You missed off Glymphid (Aldar Beedo's species). You missed off Rattataki (Asajj Ventress' species). You missed off Korun (Mace Windu's species). You missed off Kaleesh (Grievous' species). That's all I can think of for now. I may spot more from time to time and will let you know if I do. I wouldn't be the Star Wars specialist if I didn't spot those immediately.

Hi. This is my ninth Star Wars review and it features: the 30004 Battle Droid on STAP! Theme: Star Wars (CW) No of pieces: 23 (excluding fig and 4 spares) Release Date: 2009 Minifigs: 1 RRP when released: Free (promotional set) Bricklink Brickset This set is based on the STAP, or Single Trooper Aerial Platform, first seen in The Phantom Menace. It was given Confederacy colours during the Clone Wars, so LEGO decided to give it a second go (the first being the original brown one). From the look of the picture, the set is based on Teth, the jungle planet seen in The Clone Wars film. Instructions This is the front cover of the tiny instruction booklet. It shows the vehicle flying through the air, presumably shooting at the AT-TE on the side of the cliff, as seen in the film. The instuctions are printed on both sides of the paper, as well as a small advert for LEGO.com and four of this years other Clone Wars sets. Build These are all the pieces that make up the STAP and the battle droid on the left-hand side. There is a nice collection of blue and dark blue pieces here, as well as a clear stand. At stage three in the build, the model will look like this. The spine of the vehicle has been constructed and has been attached to the transparent rod. By stage six of ten, the curved front has been built up and the two engines have been put on the sides. The finished product looks like this. The top has been constructed and clipped on, as well as the clear dome that allows it to stand up. These are the four spare pieces left over. Vehicle From the front, you can see that the droid has a good view of what's in front. The two blaster cannons would certainly cause havoc at this range. Looking at the back, we can see the battle droid doesn't actually stand on the two out-of-scale platforms. The side view certainly shows off the accurate shape of the model. The battle droid can stand on the back, like it should. The colours are a bit inaccurate, though. The dark bley curved piece would be much better in blue. And off he flies into battle; relatively unprotected, but very fast. Minifigure Of course, as you should know by now, the only minifigure included is a plain and simple B1 Battle Droid. Although many PT fans will have these in their hundreds by now, seeing the numbers of them, and how bad they are at everything, more would come in handy. Ratings and thoughts Build: 6/10 - Simple, yet varied. It wasn't repetitive so it gets a good score. Minifigures: 4/10 - Yet another battle droid, but what else would you expect in a small set like this? Playability: 5/10 - It's quite sturdy, and the stand serves as a good handle for swooshing. Not much else to do, though. Design: 5/10 - The colours and the design look a bit shoddy when compared with its movie counterpart, but as a stand alone model, it looks good. Those platforms are much too big. Price: 10/10 - All this little beauty cost was 45p for the newspaper! Overall: 30/50 - A wonderful little promo that I'm sure will be very popular among Star Wars LEGO fans. If we compare this promo to the STAP from the new AT-TE set, we can see that they are identical, except the promo lacks the unique sticker on the front. And here's a picture of how it looked in The Clone Wars film. As you can see, it's not the most accurate model, but it still looks good. Thanks for looking, everybody. Comments welcome, as always.

Thanks, Delta. I know, but it isn't light much here anymore. I'll edit them sometime. Thanks a lot.

Good day, everyone! I'm finding now that there are very few clone troopers left to remake on MS Paint, and am running out of ideas. I know I've yet to do clone commandos as several of you have requested, and production is still underway with them. As some of you may have realised, I've already made a few custom clones from the imaginations of fellow members. I like doing this as well, and have decided to start a competition. To enter, all you need to do is post a detailed description of the armour you would like to wear if you were a clone trooper. You need to give yourself a clone-style nickname and a rank. In your description, you should describe helmet, torso, arm and leg patterns, accessories and colours. If you wish for something that you can see already one an existing clone, you can tell me and I'll copy it and/or change the colour to suit you. You are welcome to post your own pics of drawings, LEGO figs, etc with your desired design. You should be specific about colours, as there can be several different shades of one colour, and I want to get it right. When all entries have been completed by me, you will judge each others and a winner will be picked. You cannot vote for your own entry. The winner will recieve 15 points in my sig game. (I'm sorry I can't provide anything better, but I'm just an average collector like you with a small budget for LEGO.) Please post any questions you have here. Thanks. Let the competition commence!

That's fine and I do use Paypal. Only the suit, I'm afraid, not the head or hair. Where am I sending it to?
-
I made that. The new sets look great! I might have to sell the old ones and use the money to buy the new ones, seeing as lots are repeats of sets I have already.

To quote myself, like the 'plural sheep' I am :
