Hold on! What happened to "TPM was rubbish and OT owns all"? We finally get pics of the Tantive IV set, and you start complaining it's to similar to what's effectively its PT counterpart. The ships are supposed to be similar. They were made by the same manufacturing company! If you all seem to love OT so much, why are you complaining it's too similar to the Radiant VII?! Surely this would be the better choice for an OT fan? And there's no point moaning about the interior. You should have known the ship would be a similar size to the Radiant VII set and would therefore have a small interior as well. Also, at least we can confirm the set is ANH-based, not ROTS-based, as it's red, not blue. I know we all 'knew' it was to be from the OT, but nobody could be 100% certain. However, it seems to only have 8 engines, which is very inaccurate on LEGO's part. I hope that the other three are too small to see on these pictures, rather than not be there at all. This won't be a set I'll be getting for several reasons. I won't have the money or the space to be able to purchase and keep it, plus I'm more of a PT fan and am happy with my Republic Cruiser.

I don't mind taking over for you while you're away. We're both playing as bounty hunters so we can work together. I'll try to chip in later today. Have a good time. See you when you get back.

These look interesting! I think I can make out another speeder bike in the bottom right corner of the right box, but the rest is too blurry. Also, in the video simonjedi provided, what's to the right of the 'new' sets? If they go in chronological order from left to right, it may be another set from 2010, or it may be something really obvious that I'm missing. What do you think? Thanks for the rumours, though, guys! EDIT: DarthLegolas, the pirate tank wasn't of the upmost importance either, remember? I think TLG could make Phase-1 cold assault troopers and normal BDs to differ from last year's BPs. However, I do think that this year should be OT's turn.

For some reason, I forgot to add the 4755 Knight Bus to the list before. It's now on, complete and available. The statuses of some of the sets have changed as well, eg. become reserved or complete.

A very nice MOC, Doctor. The colour scheme is nice and suits those characters you've put with it. I agree with Spyder in that the turret should be bit further back. I think the base should be a bit thicker as well. Great work!

That's a better comparison to the Echo Base set. Thanks, Pi. Both happened in sort of the same place, at sort of the same time, so it's easy for TLG to fool some less-hardcore SW fans to make good selling opportunities. Fox, however, has never been seen anywhere near a spider droid!

Exactly, but that's not when the LEGO set is set. There were no Snowtroopers attacking then. SWMAN was just pointing out that TLG doesn't always stick to what's correct if it means a good money-making opportunity. Look at Commander Fox in the Homing Spider droid set!

I didn't mean for you to read the whole thing, just the first few paragraphs about the Bespin invasion. The opening to the story fits our story perfectly. The Sith want to wipe out the Jedi and gain full power. Here they can attack many Jedi in one place, and steal holocrons to gain great knowledge. I'm only basing on that, not following it word-for-word. Chapter 2 begins on a Jedi city, similar to Cloud City, floating in Bespin's atmosphere. The Jedi have been based there for decades and many of the Jedi holocrons can be found locked securely away. With the Jedi Order slowly being wiped out by the Sith, the city is no longer as well-defended as it used to be. During the week following the mission to Endor, Master Galeer stayed on Endor to help them rebuild their old ways and to catch up with what he's missed since he left. Master Vrook moved to the city with Legis and his 722nd Legion. Shaela and her Mandalorians accompanied them in her ship, the First Jewel. Meanwhile, the Sith fleet were gathering forces to invade the city and take the holocrons. They hired bounty hunter, assassin and explosives expert Cazador to help break into the secure vaults. Hunter Spyder fled the moon of Endor in a Sith fighter but was picked up by the Sith. Despite his recent defeat, he had no choice but to pledge his allegiance to them. Among the Sith lords leading the attack was Darth Ezelon. The Sith forces were made up of hundreds of Dark Jedi and Sith troopers. The story starts with a few Sith transports approaching the city, hidden in the clouds. They deployed several battle satellites and their cargo of troops. Each Dark Jedi was equipped with a jetpack which they used to fly down to the city surface. Cazador, Ezelon and Spyder were also among the Sith. The Jedi watched as the Sith swarmed down into the city and rushed to attack them. The satellites opened fire on the city, causing massive destruction to the city's infrastructure. LET CHAPTER 2 BEGIN!

A while ago, I read a rumoured script for Star Wars Episode VII. The opening is set on Bespin 30 years after the Battle of Endor. Obviously, this game is set thousands of years before that, so some of the details have been changed. The script can be found here for anyone who wants rough guidelines.

I know little about Manaan and have no easy way of building MOCs there. I know a story set on Bespin, so that'd suit me better.

But when I have no blue baseplates, underwater MOCs sound pointless. With air battles, you don't need baseplates, so that'll do me fine. As for big open parts, I'd like open parts, as it means I have to break up fewer sets for pieces.

How is Manaan good for making MOCs?

I will play as Cazador this time. Flash can play as Sandman or Shaela (preferrably Shaela) and killer as Viper or Legis (either suits me). I have a good Bespin-based story set up and I'll post some guidelines first to control the story.

Flash, Galeer can only speak Ewokese, but he has learnt to use the Force to help the person he's talking with to understand what he's saying.

There was Darth Skintasee and Spyder vs. Galeer, Trav, Shaela and Legis. So it doesn't matter. I'd forgotten Vrook was an NPC. With only 5 players now, that rule is ineffective.
