  1. Thanks for the compliments and feedbacks guys! Yes, I'm planning on building more GoT castles, but they will probably just be on LDD I'm afraid! As for the whole cuusoo wouldn't produce GoT thing, sorry I wasn't clear enough! The CUUSOO project is just for Modular Castles, not focusing on GoT. I've just used this MOC as an exampe for a possible castle. It's basically UCS castle sets. Yeah, I know there's the king's castle set, but it's not really the kind of thing I'm suggesting. The castle itself is a bit basic and small. My idea is to have bigger, more detailed casltes aimed at the higher age range, maybe not with so many minifigs, so the focus is on the actual building. :D Thanks for the feedback kibosh. Yes, I have to agree with you about it being a bit "flat". I tried to deal with that a bit by adding in some modified pieces and a little s.n.o.t. , but it still does look a quite flat. Have you got any tips or examples which might help?
  2. I'm just wondering if I have put this is the right thread? Does Game of Thrones count as Historic?
  3. Yes, the current castle sets are good but they don't really have enough detail of the actual castle buildings, and are a bit small, whereas this cuusoo is for larger more detailed castles
  4. Thanks Leo, Yes, I'm planning on making more castle MOCs, both from Game of Thrones, and other well-known castles, so King's Landing is a strong possibility!
  5. Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I'm planning on adding in more props and minifigs, that will all be in the next bricklink order though! :)
  6. I recently built this MOC of Winterfell courtyard from the Game of Thrones TV series. It's part of a CUUSOO idea for Modular Castle sets, which features well known castles, both fictional and non-fictional. This is the first proper moc I've built. The model comes in easy-to-assemble sections, which can also be moved around. The first section I built was the ravenry. The walls are removable, and the plan is to fit hinges on to the roof later on for full accessability. The ravnery also has cages to store the messenger birds. 7. Hi, I was wondering whether it's legal to sell mocs on ebay. Say for example, I made a Lego MOC of the show "How I Met Your Mother" would I be able to sell it on ebay, or would that be a breach of copyright or something?
  8. Okay, well I have it in LDD at the minute, so I'll probably post a few screenshots on here soon
  9. Could anyone tell me, roughly, how long it would take to render a 6,400 piece model?
  10. I have a very large wanted list on bricklink, and I wish to make a seperate list for each of the parts. Is there a function for doing this?
  11. I recently uploaded an LDD model I made, into my bricklink wanted list. Now, I wish to buy all the parts, so I go to "By Shop" and look at some of the options. Only, how do I know whether this shop has all of the items on my list, or just some? I've clicked on some shops, and they only have 1 page of my items, but others have several pages.
  12. Thanks, I'll probably sell it soon, but I'm thinking the new one (if it will be made at all) mightn't be released until this new star wars movie comes out...
  13. Okay, so I have the old lego sandcrawler, and I'm going to sell it sometime. I've noticed the price of it on ebay going up since I got it, but recently I saw a new sandcrawler on cuusoo, which is doing very well. So my question is, if a new one is released, do you think the value of the old one will go down?
  14. I'm confused, are they bringing out Game of Thrones minifigures?
  15. Nearly all of the ones in good condition were going for over £200, or £150 at the very least. I think about buying either: 10193 medieval market village or 10197 fire brigade to re-sell in a few years time. Which do you think would be best to invest in? I'm also considering buying the 10211 grand emporium at a later date.
  16. Hmm. I s'pose I may as well buy at least one to sell, as you say it's highly unlikely that I'll lose money. I bought a sandcrawler a few years ago on ebay for £70 and people are now buying them for over £200! So I may as well give it a go I think.
  17. Hi. I've noticed that most UCS sets seem to sell at a much higher price a few years after being discontinued. Do you think it'd be worth buying a few UCS sets, not opening them. and then selling them a few years later for a higher price? Would there be much chance of losing money on it?
  18. Thank you soooo much!! That's exactly what I wanted. :D Thanks!
  19. That last method looks quite interesting, though I've still been trying to get the 1x3 circle made. I have a attached my attempt at a circle, but I still can't make the ends join. circle part.lxf
  20. hmm. I still can't get the ends to join. Nothing's happening, but I don't see what could be block it's movement. :/
  21. Thanks! That's great, only I don't know how to use the flex tool XD I know that it's possible to build a proper circle with the hinge tool though, as I made one few months ago but I've completely forgotten how I done it. :(
  22. Hi, I've been trying to build a round tower in LDD using 1x3 bricks and 1x1 round bricks. I tried using different angles, but the ends don't match up when trying to make a circle. Does anyone have any advice?
  23. Okay, I shall give that a try! Thanks again
