    Arguably they removed those stakes when they introduced Quantum Time Travel and allowed Loki to escape with the Tesseract in Endgame.

    I'm so behind on this but I finally took a look at the Eternals sets today and, wow, they're excellent looking things aren't they? When are we expecting them to release? I've lost track of movie dates lol

    If you disconnect the SqEnix sets from.the game, they're pretty solid sets really! Good to get a break from the MCU versions of characters, I just wish we saw some deeper variants from the comics. Like if each of the SqEnix sets had different iron man printing for example. There weren't any really really bad sets in the last 2 Avengers waves. Not like recent Batman waves which have been dross.

    I like it. I like that the helmet sets are kinda wonky versions of the really thing. Lego should be a slightly blocky, wonky version. Here's hoping we get more of these next year.

    Legally speaking, we paid VAT at checkout (if ordering on the UK GBP site) so we shouldn't have to pay any additional customs fees. We ordered, ostensibly, from a UK retailer. They then chose to ship from Europe, so they'd pay import fees.

    Anyone who has NCG already, what size would a custom modular segment have to be to fit in the same size as the buildings within the set?

    I'm sorry if this the wrong place to post this, but which Monkie Kid sets are best value for money? I want to start collecting the theme but it seems incredibly expensive compared to others, with very few cheap sets, so wanna make sure I'm.getting my money's worth

    Reserved the Thanos set at Argos in Leeds, went to collect and they brought out Thor set. I asked if they had the correct item in stock (anticipating being asked to pay the additional £50, which I would have done since I wanted the set anyway) and to my surprise the assistant went into the back, and came out with the Thanos set and let me walk off with it at the £19.99.

    Definitely going to pick up the airport set, will just bricklink Panther. The third set, which nobody seems to talk about, I'll probably get, though I do already have a Widow. I'm excited for the Mighty Micros honestly. They look fun

    Just had a thought about that Ra's set - Lego have a booth at London Super Comic Con later this month, and it's basically the UK equivalent of NYCC; a huge con. Maybe they're unveiling the set there?

    The Civil War minifigs look utterly fantastic - especially Wanda and Rhodey. Finally picked up a Silver Centurion today - truly a gorgeous figure in every single respect. Anyone who misses this variation has a huge hole in their collection in terms of quality of minifig - the legs and arms in particular will be staples of purist Iron Man customs for years to come - definitely want to bricklink a few of these printed legs.
