  1. I adore the colours in this MOC! Am I seeing orange baseplates though?
  2. I like the subtility in this MOC: The expressions are very well put in this scale, like Qui Gon's pressing teeth and Jar Jar's tongue.
  3. Besides the NPU and it's theme, I like how you came up with the style of the house.
  4. I really like the play set feature of opening and closing, should have been done much more. It's also good to see more white in a castle.
  5. Simply awesome, love it!
  6. I finally found PotC's Cannibal Escape for only €20,- at Intertoys, which is the price I would only pay for this set. Average price of this set in the Netherlands is €32,- to €45,-, so I think I'm lucky enough to get it for that price. The White Cap Bay is only €49,- at the same store. That's a steal for what you get: mermaids and a lot of dark bley which can be used easily for Castle builders.
  7. Thank you for pointing this out. I have reuploaded my resized (750x600) images, but only the first image has the new resolution on Brickshelf. The other two images that are also resized to 750x600 pixels, still have the same old size when reuploaded at Brickshelf. Perhaps I'm just going to use Flickr from now on...
  8. The color scheme is the best.
  9. This my first MOC in ages and my first MOC topic post at Eurobricks! I started to experiment with landscapes and this is what I came up with:
  10. I dreamed last night that I was building a huge landscape. The funny thing is that I was building the night before my dream some small landscapes. I still keep it at small landscapes though...
  11. Not sure how I feel after reading this.
  12. The times I dream about LEGO, it's that I'm going to buy a set or can't decide which one to buy...
  13. Good job on the build, I like the small size of the chapel and the scene as a whole. Sometimes less is more with those kind of builds.
  14. A nice and cute tribute to a set I managed to get a few years ago, never had the original set from my childhood. The transparant neon orange is especially a treat for the eyes with black lighting in the dark. The Aquazone universe comes to life this way like a dark underwater world. You answerd your first question already and they have a certain esthetics that current sets don't have. For example the Neo Classic Space theme got quite some followers that appreciate and MOC in the that style, while most of them weren't even born back then.
  15. I think the concept of the Fright Knights is good, but the designs of the sets are not that great. I remember that short after this theme came out, I started to lose interest in LEGO, untill a few years later LEGO Star Wars came out. That's what I remember from this theme during my childhood.
  16. I think it's great that you made such an subject with LEGO bricks without looking funny or unserious.
  17. I'm happy that the Skiff is going to be 29,-, I was afraid it's going to cost 34,- or 39,-. Jabba's Palace might be expensive, but the many fantastic mini figures aside, it's a very well put together play set and can be used for Castle MOCs.
  18. Little guy in the front!
  19. Cool to see some minifigures based on Berserk, I love the manga as well and I'm looking forward to the animated movie. I wonder how you will do the Godhand, Guts new party should not be much of a problem to recreate. As a tip for your next photoshoot: please use a plain background instead of your desk and keep the transparant neon green parts away. They really don't blend in with your figures and thats a shame.
  20. Good job with all the little details like the plants, It looks very inviting.
  21. Just as expecting from the start of the anouncement, this theme is going to be super awesome for a gothic theme.
  22. I received earlier this week Diagon Alley and the most recent Tie Fighter. Also did a bricklink order since ages! Mostly dark and light bley 1x2 slopes for rock building, PoP orange bricks and some pearl gold bricks like quarter domes from PoP theme, 2 gates and 2 tridents from Atlantis theme.
  23. It's a superb model that is very believable as a garage. I like that you used the older Shell bricks instead of Octan.
  24. I signed up and voted only for this incredible model at Cuusoo, because this is something what I'd like to see as a LEGO product. Way better then the Minecraft entry which is a real shame if you look to what Japan votes on and got in the long run.
  25. Simply beautiful looking alley with all the left over snow and rocky tiled floor.
