  1. Your MOCs always amaze me. The dark tan for the ground works really well with the snow,
  2. Congratulations on making it to the LEGO store! I have seen these MOCs of yours before and because of your inspirational MOCs, I decided to get Diagon Valley once I can get it and be doing something similar (altough not modular).
  3. Thank you for pointing out, I did a search on this forum before I posted this. However I did not google it before I posted this thread and it turns out it's newer then I tought. Sorry for the inconvinience people.
  4. It seems that Hasbro announced their own LEGO brand at ToyFair 2012, called 'Kre-O' ToyFair 2012: First pic of Hasbro's new Kre-O range, Battleship! Would'nt surprise me or Hasbro wants their Star Wars license from TLC in the long run if Kre-O sells well.
  5. Blacktron I and Space Police I, I was also very young when these themes came out and I only got the SPI moon buggy and a Blacktron I minifig. I'm going to buy the SP-striker some day.
  6. They look so far so good, I only hope Dracula has two face printings. The Werewolf looks less cartoony then I expected seeing from the Prelims.
  7. Really like the print on Ghimli's helmet. Nice to have four different coloured 'hobbit' hair pieces.
  8. Thanks everyone for your input in finding all this!
  9. A very nice looking medival street scene, some good looking architecture.
  10. PotC's Captain's Cabin for 12 euro's instead of 16. A nice little set with small parts I love. The globe is just simply awesome...
  11. I'm having trouble finding any information about an old television series done in LEGO stopmotion. If I'm not mistaken, It's done in association with TLG, because of the 'LEGOLAND' (yellow and blue) branding. I hope people know what I'm talking about and can show me more information about this obscure TV serie.
  12. Orignal and fun concept.
  13. It might be my sadistic self, but I think it's a funny MOC. It really looks deseparte to me against that wall... From the sets that I know that are offering the old flames: The Prince of Persia set: Race against time had two different flames and there are blue versions in the Harry Potter set: Forbidden forest. I don't think the old flames are going away soon.
  14. I miss these kind of instruction books, It's good that there is still interest in them. I always like to browse trough the 1990 one, has some great Pirates display and ideas.
  15. I wanted to say that It has a great classic feeling to it, so I'm going with this: The nostalgia!!! It's very well built and a great tribute to these two old sets. This reminds me of my own childhood. I was 10 when I wanted the skull cave but never had enough money somehow. Later I bought the vulcano island, just because the skull cave was out of my allowance budget and I loved it!
  16. Some nice techniques and diversity in your biggest MOC yet. Keep on building!
  17. Dragon Masters was a sub theme from Castle that I loved the most as a kid. I always liked the fantasy aspect of knights and dragons, so It did really well for me. I never saw them as badguys unlike the Wolfpack who raid and steal things. They're more dark neutral in my book. As for opposing forces: I thought the Lion Heart fraction where snobby and keeping everything for them selfs with there stuck up king and his fancy chrome parts. I saw them as the badguys. But that's to each there own and just shows how versatile and neutral fractions from the past can be. And as for the BURPS: I loved them when I was a kid and could built well with them. Now I don't like them as much. Perhaps we should hold a BURP build contest in the future, just for the fun of it.
  18. I see, I don't even have an extra room for LEGO. I'm aiming to get a small wall for storage cases and sort by part instead of color and part. Unless I got a lot of the same colour and part, I might make an exception. The storage part of this hobby is one of the things I'm scared of. Next to missing pieces and looking for one piece a whole day.
  19. I think I have a problem with storing my sorted out LEGO. The main problem is that I don't have enough storage place when everything is sorted out. Does anyone has/had the same problem as me?
  20. I always have a hard time breaking Star Wars sets. I have the models from 1999 to 2001 unsorted in a box and is supposed for MOC'ing. Newer sets that I like are seperated from set to set. Other themes are sooner or later broken down for MOC'ing.
  21. Around 400 euro, only the last three months. I blame the Imperial Shuttle for driving up the total price that I have spent. I think It's also a matter of being smart in what you buy. As for my self, next to collecting LEGO Star Wars I want to MOC and I'm only going to buy sets that have parts that I can use. I ignored until now sets that are on sale and are moderately interesting but useless to me.
  22. Agreed, 'Satan Claus' also popped in my head after seeing Maul. Not a big fan of these kind of figures, but it's fun they exist.
  23. This. Scalping is a bad thing in general, even that there is plenty of LEGO. It's often used with hard to get Star Wars action figures as well. I don't sell my opened and build LEGO sets unless I'm in financial trouble.
  24. Getting this or Diagon Alley... Hmm...
