  1. I have this set as well and the faction and model is a great addition to the Aquazone theme. It was never available in Europe from my understanding, so I had to buy this set from an American Bricklink shop. I like how TLG improvised on the drills, looks pretty badass to me and some green is always nice to have.
  2. Not much active and lurking most of the time unlogged. No time to build with LEGO...

  3. Simply stunning. It breathes the atmosphere of a real mountain lodge. I like all the little details from the snake smoke to the ice from the fountain.

  7. This vignette was meant for the Swamp Monster from Monster Fighters, but since I haven't got a hold on it, I came with something much more pleasing: My own Monster Raiders (also seen in my previous creation), they don't kill monsters to protect people, but to steal from them (and they're flesh coloured).
  8. can't wait for Monster Fighters and LotR sets

  9. I like your idea for using the Vampyre Castle as an entrance of a courtyard. My only tip I have for you, is to spice up your side walls a bit with more light and dark grey masonry bricks or 2x1 plates sideways on the wall. The knights on the walls look terrefic!
  10. I'm glad you guys like it. I'm still waiting that the Monster Fighters theme is hitting The Netherlands, so I could make MOCs that are directly linked to the theme. I have already an idea for the Swamp Creature...
  11. Bilbo is looking quite anxious with that Endor Trooper face, now that Gollum is approaching him after not directly guessing his riddle. I think It's a great scene that's true to the book.
  12. I think the Warg Ambush and the Witch King sets are very likely to be produced like your interpretations of them. I only think with the Warg Ambush set, that there is one horse too many for such a little set. Maybe no horses at all (since we get two wargs), realistically thinking and knowing TLG.
  13. It's a good thing that the LotR sets are selling very well in the rest of the world. When does the LotR sets hit the whole of Europe? I thought it was August, but Germany's LEGO online shop has them already available.
  14. Thanks Lynx for posting this set without stickers, because I'm planning to not use them as well. Love your recreation of this fantastic scene from the movie, wich I recently watched.
  15. Great setting and mood, I think the retarded skull in the sand is a funny detail. Rock formation works very well for a very rough terain.
  16. I feel very ashamed I forgot those!!! Next time when I'm planning and building a custom set, I will try to make a 'real' play feature.
  17. There is a play feature with the coffin (or not, one may disagree with that): you can open and close it and pick the remains of a dead person from it. It's in my Flickr gallery.
  18. Along with this set and many others, 2012 is the best LEGO year for me till date. Simply awesome TLG.
  19. While I'm looking forward to the Monster Fighters and Lord of the Rings sets, I build this graveyard that has a little of both themes: Occult graverobbers that could be a tie in with Monster Fighters and the MOC is inspired by 'The Mines of Moria' set. I tried to keep it simple and fun, just like a real LEGO set and I'm pretty happy with the result. Hope you guys like it. cemetery_total by Orange Leader, on Flickr Visit my Flickr account for more pictures and what's in the grave.
  20. I bought 5984, the Lunar Limo from the Space Police III line a few days ago. I don't buy Scifi sets, but this set was just too damn fun and cool to pass by. I'm also looking forward to the red Ninjago mecha, for the same reasons.
  21. Thanks for the pictures! It looks like a great set and parts pack for MOCs. I love the selection of minifigures and I will certainly get this set when I can buy it.
  22. While 33 stickers is a lot, I'm glad they're not all printed. I don't apply stickers myself for further building my own creations. I'm kind of doubting to get this after seeing this review, It's a matter of time that this set will grow on to me and what the price in Europe will be.
  23. Thanks everyone for your comments. She can always reach them with her spoon, adding barrels as a step or levitation magic. The bundle of wood is stringed together with an official LEGO elastic. The skull is indeed in a dome shaped jar. I love to fiddle around with unusual parts, in the end they're not as useless as we MOCers sometimes might think. The ladder levitates not on purpose, It was not easy to keep it on the ground without falling off.
  24. The witch took her pointy hat and cloak off, made a fire and filled the cauldron with slime that is unknown for the common folk. What she is brewing, It's all up to your imagination.
