Location: M11 (Oldennock, Keala Region, Northern part of Black Knight Kingdom) Lord Calvin and Karen can barely move away from Dyke’s reach. Hope seemed to be seeping away from them until Lord Calvin bended down, and a small parcel roll out from his waist. It caught Dyke’s sight and approached to it. Lord Calvin shouted while trying to reach the small parcel “Get away from it.” Dyke laughed loudly and said “I can do whatever I like.” Dyke reached for the small parcel and unveils the cloth. To his surprise, it was actually the sacred Dragon Stone, from Dragon Masters Kingdom. Dyke pointed to them and said to them “I have the Dragon Stone in my possession. With it, we will have nothing to fear.” Suddenly, a glaring red light was beaming brightly from the stone and blinded Dyke’s sight. “I can’t see anything. It’s so bright. Switch it off.” He let go of the Dragon Stone, and it emitted a dragon hologram from it. It opened its raging mouth and directed his scarlet light towards Dyke. Dyke was screaming in terrible pain, fell to his knees. Seeing his small fragile body lying onto the ground, a black enormous shadow is seen to be pushing away from the small boy. The shadow had left from the small boy, leaving him motionless. Dyke stared at them with anger and fatigue “You are blessed to have the Dragon Stone to protect you this round. Next time, you will not be so lucky.” He vanished into thin air, leaving no traces behind. Lord Calvin lifted himself up and walked towards the Dragon Stone and kept it safe within his possession. “This stone had saved our lives.” Karen nodded and shouted “This small boy is still breathing.” Lord Calvin replied “Save him. We will return to Majestic Tower. Gather the rest of the survivors. We are heading back now.” At the same time, within his mind, he is thinking deeply and understands that Dyke Zola is one formidable enemy that he had ever encountered that understands the weakness of Shadow Spear.

These are my only space base plates from Classic Space. Actually, with only 2 plates, I could not do much serious expansion with it. Instead, I merged it with my old city baseplates, and used it as a docking station for scientific purposes or restricted facilities that is guarded by the police. These baseplates are very useful and is suited for creating a space command center, up in the space.

Agents Review - 8637 Volcano Base - Mission 8
WhiteFang replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Once again, another outstanding review by svelte_corps! I am not a very big fan of Agents, but this theme defintely offer plenty of useful parts. This Volcano Base is simply fanastic for parts usage, especially in doing up landscaping, with mountains, by making use of the brown BURPS. I must admit that the exterior looks real cool, but the interior looks rather empty. These orange slopes certainly make a great illustration of the larva, which gives the Agents a hard time to infiltrate within its compound to save his comrade. I am quite sure, this set will defintely attracts lots of kids to coax their parents to buy it, since the bright colors will defintely caught their attention. With all those hi-tech, sleek weaponary, I am sure this is the next big thing for kids out there. Well, I am not sure if this theme works for me as well. But this set defintely works well for landscaping project. -
Location: M11 (Oldennock, Keala Region, Northern part of Black Knight Kingdom) Meanwhile, at Oldennock, Lord Calvin and his Red Valiant are struggling to defeat Dyke Zola, one of the powerful black wraith demons, seeking to possess Lord Calvin’s body. Half of his forces are severely ambushed by the demons. Karen is leading the soldiers in battle formation, trying to keep the soldiers firm on the ground. While Lord Calvin had managed to push back and eliminate the remaining black wraith demons with one of the techniques from Shadow Spear which is known as “Neit Crescent”. Dyke showed an evil smile and said “Lord Calvin, it’s unwise of you to use Neit Crescent. By using this technique, it seemed you have your powers reduced by half. Shadow Spear is a double edge weapon for young users like you. You don’t have enough capacity yet, to wield the true power of Shadow Spear. By using a higher technique than your usual capacity will only trigger your powers to a temporarily maximum capacity, and destroy half of your original power capacity. You are still a greenhorn, Lord Calvin.” Lord Calvin was startled and shocked to discover that Dyke knew his weakness of Shadow Spear. It is true, that Shadow Spear holds unimaginable power. But in order to display the true power, one must hold high endurance and capacity of power within its body to withstand the drainage. He gripped his shadow spear tightly, and shouted with his might “Look here, I am not scared of you. Prepare the wraith of Neit Crescent.” He thruster his Shadow Spear, swinging back and forth, forming the dark crescents. Without hesitation, he released both crescents. Dyke blocked both of them with its bare hands and forced it to the ground. Lord Calvin felt much weaker than before. Karen aim Dyke with her Twin Strike, hoping to injured him from behind. Just before the shots landed on him, a black barrier appeared from his back and deflected her attacks. He turned his head and raised his arm to release his dark beam. Karen could not escape and was prepared to give in to her fate. Suddenly, a shining white light flashed across the ground, blow away the dark beam. Lord Calvin was shielding Karen, from danger. He was barely able to stand up on its own, using Shadow Spear as its support to balance himself. Dyke was extremely unpleased, but yet happy to know that Lord Calvin had met his limits by over utilize Shadow Spear’s power. Dyke walked slowly and approached the vulnerable Lord Calvin, showing a pleasing smile and said “It’s time for you to give your body to me.”

These are real amazing customised figures, filled with superb details that have been well taken care of. The sash, ranks, torsos, equipments are well designed. I love it very much, and I must admit that this is one of the most outstanding works I ever seen.

As far as I know, these mini-figs or sets are not for sale. I believed he only kept a copy each in his collection.

Dark Sword Ragnarok, I will like to let you know what is my course of action of reviving certain threads since you specify "me" in it. By reviving certain threads and bringing into the lights again, is supposed to benefit others new members whom have missed it, joined much later, or have something valuable and constructive comments to add. For me, whether to take my "title" as a compliment or not, I believed it's clearly mentioned clearly in this entry. I believe in reviving certain threads which has values in it. If there is no values within the open topics, I am supposed the threads are supposed to be close. As what Sinner had mentioned, this had been discussed before. Please read through the thread. Thanks.

He is NickGreat, an awesome customiser from Singapore. His customised works are outstanding. I will drop him a note, to link him to this thread.

CONTEST: Design your own Indy Movie! The Vote
WhiteFang replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Licensed
This is seriously one of the toughest contest in Eurobricks! Finally, I have decided whom to cast my votes to. These are the following, Best MOC: Batbrick (Simply amazing! I will not resist to add it in to another Indiana Adventure) Best Story: svelte_corps (His story is filled with suspense, and the Celtic Traditions works fine for me) Oddest MOC: Slyowl (Well, judging from his entry, that is enough to qualify for that) Everyone's entries are simply outstanding. Great job everyone. -
I believed these parts are offical, and by looking at the pictures mentioned. I am very sure it is genuine. For now, let's wait what TLG has in store for us. This is a good sign! Thanks for the pictures!

This MOC works fine for me. I love the blue and white color combination. The colors used, are very good. I really love how you construct "Polar Bear". Simply able to match up with the Aqua Raiders, or another sub-set or submarine adventures that explore in the Arctic Ocean.

Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) After a series of events happening in Neb Monastery, Black Wraith Demons had proven to be more than just a demon. There is some form or hierarchy within this mysterious force of evil that is lurking within our lands. Calling themselves as Prince of Darkness had indeed threatened Lord Kenneth and the rest, feeling much stress than before. They will need to embark on a new quest, to search for the remaining seven. Nothing seemed to be moving smoothly, and many of their friends especially Siloux whom had escaped death more than once. As the night goes by, they slept peacefully in the chambers of Neb Monastery, giving them enough rest to rejuvenate themselves. As day breaks, they slowly make their way to the Dining hall, where Erik and Adrick is sitting at the end of the table. Lord Kenneth went ahead and asked “Erik, all of us here including Bluervo will assist in finding the remaining seven. Is it true that all of them are located in our lands?” Erik smiled and said “I know where they are, but I don’t know their real exact location. Some of them may have moved elsewhere. I will give you the rough coordinates to help in your findings. Unfortunately, Adrick and I will not be able to join in this mission.” Lord Kenneth exclaimed and said “How can we move on without the help from either of you?” Erik chuckled and looked into their eyes with confident “Lord Kenneth, Princess Diana, Flynt, Grandoth, Cecil and Bluervo, This will be a test of determination from all of you. This is a rare combination to see different kingdoms working together.” Cecil interrupted the conversation and added “How about Siloux? Won’t he be joining us?” Erik looked at the far end of the corridor, and said nothing. Cecil stood quietly, thinking whether Erik has agreed to train Siloux in white magic.

Glad you guys like the review. The 6649 looks lovely, and I hope you managed to restore it. Indeed, a bin without a lid is inviting trouble.

How did I ever miss this vintage topic! Excellent comparisons on the examples you shown, rriggs I am a classic town at heart, since childhood and I understand how sad it is to see our usual typical 4-studs wide vehicle evolving it into giant sets such as 6 studs, 8 studs etc. It's no longer the same as before. I still prefer the good old days.

I was looking up some old classic castle reviews in Eurobricks, and I could not believe my eyes when I found this two outstanding sets that is under the Black Knights theme. This review is simply superb and excellent! I can't imagine how happy I am, when I am looking through your clear images and reading your content. Thanks alex54 I love the old castle buildings which made use of modular and expansion design. Simply wonderful. I must admit that the Black Monarch Castle is so nice and it is comparable with the Black Knights Castle. Both sets contain high amount of mini-figs. You can't find such amount of mini-figs in big castle sets anymore. One thing, I never realised till now, until I read through the review. I knew this set can be expanded and added on but I never knew it can be combined with the Knight's stronghold. I thought it was just merely a border fortress, with guards holding its position. Never did I expect that this set can combined together with Black Monarch Castle and formed a much bigger castle grounds. Simply amazing! How I wish I can turn back time, and collect these wonderful sets all over again. Black Knights is one of the best castle themes around. I am very happy to know that such good quality classic review is found and revive again in Eurobricks. This is simply one of the best Castle sets around!

Princess Quest Chapter II: Legends & Legacies
WhiteFang replied to Sandy's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Sandy, thanks for sharing with us Chapter 2. Your pictures are done pretty well, especially the part when the evil wizard re-animates the dead. I like it very much. As from what I can read from your story, it begin to develop an opening to your "actual" story plot on your quest to stop the evil wizard. Accompany by two unexpected characters in your story, certainly makes it much interesting. As an author/writer, you are entitled to your imagination and illustration. I will defintely love to see what will happen in the next upcoming chapters. Let your mind run free, and keep an open mind. Looking forward to it. In addition, doing a comic can be quite tough, especially coordinating the scenes, doing up the speech bubbles and making MOCs to do up the background scenes. It actually involved a lot of preparation work. IMHO, you have done a very good job and I appericate your effort to keep up with it. -
Guys, thanks for your kind comments. It seemed most of us here love this impulse set, mainly to build army. Guess, I am a little bit too critic in my review. I was expecting a little bit more! Nevertheless, I intend to buy multiple sets of this and build on my orc armies and split them into different battalions. This is indeed one of the better ways to acquire orcs. Opps, I was eager to do a review as well, when I bought these sets. I hope you enjoyed reading this comprehensive review. Give the new theme a chance. I feel TLG have made an effort to revive certain elements that are present in past castle themes. Although it is not as good as the past, but it is certainly better than the recent castle themes. Well, mouse sounded more friendly, because it can associate with Tom and Jerry. But, calling it a rat equal calling it a pest.. It's just a matter of putting it in different terms. That's all. Edit: Instead of posting another post to explain why I used mouse. I will write it here. Tom and Jerry is reflected as a cartoon. Children associate Jerry as a mouse, since its supposed to be heart-warming and make us laugh. In real life, there are many different pets we raised. One of the possible pets we considered is a mouse. Mouse are supposed to be shy and friendly creatures that live in harmony. While rats lived in packs, hunt food in the dark and is widely regarded as a "pest". In this review, I am trying to illustrate rat and associate it with mouse by presenting it in a much friendly approach. There is no right or wrong answer. It's just making use of different words to represent how I feel towards a particular thing.

Thanks for your comments, guys! I really appericate it. IMO, Impulse set total piece count should be 30 or less. It will be ideal and more ways to construct a much better impulse sets such as past impulse sets that we came across. I may be wrong, on the 30 piece count thing. But, this is how I view Impulse sets. Do you know I bought this set, mainly because it have such a cool name attached with it. "Crystal Hawk", I simply fell in love with that name.

This classic space shuttle is simply superb! I love the layout of this shuttle. In fact, it reminded me as one of the space fighter jet, that roam around in space, defending the boundaries from intruders. I just love these old grey bricks very much and the printed computer brick is just lovely. It's such a pity, that I did not grow up with Classic Space in my childhood. These are actually great stuff, and formed the base of the Space theme in LEGO. Brickster, thanks again for another outstanding classic review.

Excellent review, Shadows! It's very enjoyable to read through your review. I used to own this truck as well, but the parts are all over the place, and it will be very hard to restore back again. I love this truck very much, and used to "vroooom" around on the baseplates. I must find my childhood photos, and share with you guys! Looking at your photo, I muse agreed with Brickster that it looked very new. I am glad that you have gained a bargain in eBay. The Highway worker torso, is one of my favourite. I only have two of them in my classic sets. The other emergency vehicle which I have is the 6674 Crane Truck. I need to do some minor restoration on that as well. Lastly, the damsel part is really very neat! p.s: I want that Forestmen woman as well. I have the mini-fig, but I don't have it's green cap.

No worries. Siloux can procced with his new plot, and I am looking forward to it. When you are done with him, we will reunite back, one day! I will take care of Cecil, you can always take over him as and when you feel like, even in my midst of the story. You are most welcome to do so, except killing him off. However, I will like to check if you are still continuing the current plot that we are engaging? Which means, will you still use Adrick and Erik in our story, to co-relate Symbol of the Nine?
