  1. Sinner!!! You know, I had never seen a BELVILLE set in any review with such great pictures before! I just can't take my eyes off, in the Master Bedroom. The scene is quite, a little hot. Enough of me, peeping up there. Let's take a look at the interior. I am very surprised by its construction of the house. It's quite big and is nice of you to buy a great sweet gift for your daughter. I am very sure, she will enjoyed playing with it. Somehow, it reminded me of Barbie Doll products. Maybe, its too pinkish for me. The accessories is the "plus factor" in any BELVILLE sets. It offered quite a handful of great accessories to add into any types of MOCs construction to add in the plus factor in it. Sinner, you are a very nice Dad! I like how parents, buy educational toys for their children to expand their imaginations instead of sitting in a couch playing video games and etc.
  2. Hey guys, hope you have not forgotten about me. I had just completed my vig for Dragonator's Mystery Castle. It's my first vig, so please be very very kind to me. I really not sure when is the deadline, but I encouraged particpants of Mystery Castle to show your enthusiasm for this great contest. Mystery Castle on!
  3. Hello everyone, For Dragonator's Mystery Castle, this will be my first attempt to construct a vignette. I am not an expert on MOCs, but feel free to give me your comments. Hope everyone will enjoy viewing this simple vignette of mine. To those whom have forgetten me, I am Grim, Head of Royal Guard. I was murdered in the night, during Day 5. Unfortunately, I could not be with the rest, to search for clues within the castle to avenge our King and the Loyalists. Without further ado, let me present you my first attempt on vignette. Overall vignette look Grim, which is above the balcony, looking downwards, watching Friar. It seemed from his observation, he is expecting someone. I wonder whom is he waiting for in the hall. Disclaimer: All characters posted in any events in my vignette are purely fiction, and any resemblance shown is purely coincidental. Looking above I wonder who is he waiting? Protecting or Watching him? The Cast More pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  4. KhoRne, thank you so much! The new map looks much lovely, with its regions and key locations such as Mount Sophia and Oldennock Woods. Certainly looks much better than my previous one. Black Knights Kingdom faction is update with a new map. EBRP On!
  5. Invisible force field/ray? That is a very neat idea. I don't have much problem with it either. Was just curious about the design, as I am not very familar with Classic Space. I supposed the oxygen tanks is quite big to carry around, especially when the vehicle is so cramped. These allowance of space, makes them much mobile to move about in the vehicle. Great job! Thanks for sharing and answering the question I posted above. I love the way you modify the front and back. Now, I need to find where is the entrance to the Mobile Command Center.
  6. It's pretty obvious whom I voted for. I am very sure EB Members will vote wisely in this Showdown! Let's get it started, Lt Byron aka Cpt PB.
  7. You must have check out my current collection. Love me so much? Oh great, I am sure you are referring to your, the other half. If there is a vote, I will be glad to join in.
  8. Thanks for the review. I will love to see this book arrived in the shops soon. I love to flip these pages, looking at the pictures especially on the sets that I had never seen before. This is quite a thick and colorful book.
  9. Give me an excuse to sneak into your house, and let me have a feel of these Classic Space sets. I never had a chance to have any experience with the Classic Space sets. Through your recent reviews on these, it gave me a wider perspective of space. I loved to play space as a child such as the late classic and Futuron sets. Back to the review, this 6927 is a great mobile command center vehicle suitable for all kinds of harsh terrain in the unknown space. The 6 big wheels are real solid and firm back in those days. Transparent blue windscreen at the front, is wonderful. I just love these parts, especially when it's in blue. 4 computer printed tiles. Aren't LEGO so generous back in those days, when printed parts are more commonly available unlike now. It's a real nice set. However, there is one thing I don't understand about this design. Why is the driver seat has a wide back with no cover behind? And, the command center has no door at the back? I understand that these Space guys are always carrying their helmet around, for oxygen supply. I wonder if there is a better answer to it.
  10. I agreed with you that these "pre-constructed" parts or "hull pieces" are cool and added greater clarity and reference to our real world. Otherwise, how could the new Passenger plane looks so nice and great. I do own these big planes, except for the Police Pontoon Plane. Brickster and I aren't really faulting on the new designs badly. It just that we missed the "LEGO Building Experience". And, Bricks is always the foundation of any typical LEGO sets. We progressed over time, even LEGO improve and offer better designs with new parts. The point we bring across is not how great we can use these parts to construct a better MOC. But, how important is the experience. As for me, the building experience counts a lot, especially when it comes to bricks and pieces.
  11. Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) Princess Diana ran up and grabbed hold of Cecil and showed a startled look “What do you mean by Siloux left us? He is injured and he is in no condition to leave us behind as well.” Cecil looks confused and said in a quick tone “I don’t know what is going on. It was too late for me to stop Erik from sending him away. I do not have any idea.” Everyone felt confused and Lord Kenneth pointed in front “That is the answer to our question.” And he asked Erik “What is going on? Why did you send Siloux away?” I don’t get it. He is injured and he is determined to learn white magic from you. Yet, you send him away without informing us. What is going on? He is our friend.” Adrick stomped his stick and shouted “Give Erik a break, won’t you? He will answer your questions in a moment.” Erik lay back in his old creaky rocking chair and looked at them and pauses a few moments, thinking deeply within his mind.
  12. Hello Dovchenko, You might want to remember where you have started off earlier. Although, it's only one entry, it will be a great start to follow back onto your story. This is the link to your past entry.
  13. I am defintely getting this Caste Chess set, no matter what. If possible, I am determined to get at least 2 sets. I am not sure how much will it cost in my homeland because we can't buy it at S@H. Nevertheless, I am always a collector of mini-figs (army building) and always a castle fan at heart. I am not sure about building it. I am quite sure, most of it are actually pre-built, or display the figures at the front, when you opened the cover. The building of the realms and the board might actually required some building.
  14. This Sea Plane model looks very neat and lovely, especially with its blue scheme. Nowadays, aeroplane or sea plane are mostly made up of <insert that tiresome argument> parts. The main point which I will like to highlight about this set is, 712 Sea Plane is basically constructed using only "bricks" and no large parts that are used to do its wings, base etc. IMHO, I think this plane is wonderful. Let's take a simple comparison with the recent Police Pontoon Plane. Police Pontoon plane is constructed by using mainly pre-constructed parts for its windscreen, fuselage, cockpit and etc. I find this quite disappointing, without demostrating what bricks can actually do. The 712 Sea Plane had actually proved this point. The 2 faceless red figures, seemed very new to me. I believed most of the sets that are in the 1970s, was actually a turning point of LEGO, and actually envolved mini-figs in 1980s. This can be one of the milestone in LEGO history. I give this a solid "5". My rating, is based if I am in 1978 and 2008 (Comparison of 2 distinct different LEGO era). From there, I justify my vote based on the construction of using bricks.
  15. I am never worried about your content as well as the format. I know you will do a great job. Seriously, I am thinking like I am looking at some "DM" history lesson which lasted about 100 years ago. Don't force me to write on a prequel as well on "Borders War". I am a perfectionist as well, especially in such minor details. Meanwhile, we will wait for your Mystery Castle's closure and procced with the EBRP in the near future. Glad you did. Otherwise, I will be sending in my White Fang Force and Red Valiant Force, to help your opposing house to overthrow you as next heir to the King, and make you live as an exile. Am I a little too harsh? However, due to our long standing relations between two kingdoms. I will re-consider my earlier proposal. Offering aids to your coup d'état will be the likely outcome for the part of the alliance package. On a side note, maybe in your history. You could relate abit something between Black Knights and Dragon Masters, used to live together as one kingdom, many years ago. I had mentioned abit on Northern Sky and Southern Sky. A little bit to add for your history lesson.
  16. Keetong, nice house! I like the medival look of it. Certainly looks cosy. Does it have an interior as well? If you required a clearer guide on how to upload images to your topic in Eurobricks, please refer to this tutorial that is done by ImperialShadows. It's a very useful guide. Do remember to re-size the pictures, and upload it by using 800 x 600 pixels and below. More than that, will give members like me a hard time to load the pictures. Pardon me, for my slow speed. If you need any further help, please approach any of us. We will be glad to help.
  17. Sandy, your Chapter III is superb interesting! The story content have a smooth flow with lots of unexpected twists along the way. I find it very refreshing especially the Troll part. It gave me a good laugh. Their disguises are really very good. You have chosen the right torso for it. I have no complains about it. The map, which you have drawn making of your landscape, is a great idea too. Most of us, always design a map using paint/photoshop. Instead, you use your landscape created and plot the locations on it, to give a general outlook. Good job. Onto to your landscaping of your forest, it is done in a very good manner. I am quite fond of the tree of that particular tall, thick tree. Using the dwarves mine defender wheels, to be its trunk is an interesting idea. In fact, you gave me some inspiration on forest building. Thanks Sandy. Your photos are taken very well and concise manner. The adjusted lightnings are taken into consideration to illustrate nightfall. As for your overall MOCs. Using offical sets such as Jungle Duel to complement to your MOC certainly added some touch as well. In addition, using the green towel to create a green field kind of feeling. You have bring it across very well. For all the current chapters I had viewed, this is the chapter I enjoyed the most. Keep up the good work and keep it coming.
  18. Lord Dragonator King Dragonator, I appericate your efforts in helping me to shape up the Dragon Masters Kingdom. There will be a lot more work involved in making up this summary for EBRP. I believed you have a great idea of what the entire index should contain, and using the character thread as the link to their profiles. In this way, users will not be confused. I still prefer to call it Dragon Masters Kingdom, until maybe in the near future. A change in ruler will cause some uproar among others. I may pray a safe succession to the future. After reading through, you are determined to compile a history textbook on Dragon Masters, aren't you? I am very very pleased to see so much planned phases, for the index. I will defintely like to see the finshing outcome. If there is any questions on what to insert into the Summary index, please highlight to me. I will do my best to help you on this. Will be looking forward to your summary thread. Remember, to use the Character thread as your working area. As much as possible, please use the standard proposed format for the time being. Future expansion on the indexs' content will be considered once our structure are much settled. We share the same sentiments and love for EBRP. I understand that you are busy with Mystery Castle, good job on that game. It's a pity I was murdered in the night. Finally, you are finished with your speech. It certainly took a long time for me to finishing reading this post. However, it's great to know that your EBRP Spirit is still burning within you. Talk to me, if you need any help with anything. Will try my best to help you.
  19. Welcome Lady Kay, It's nice to see Lt Byron aka Cpt PB (his name is too long to type) girlfriend wife Such a concidence, my middle name is Kay. I am glad to see that you are appericating his interest. Thanks for joining up this community, and I am sure you will find this is a wonderful place to gain new LEGO insights and of course, the Fabuland Edge. Explore the Space or Star Wars Forum, and the Others Forum which housed Fabuland theme in it as well. May your experience in EB a pleasant one. WhiteFang
  20. Location: M11 (Oldennock, Keala Region, Northern part of Black Knight Kingdom) The small boy is still breathing but his pulse is getting much weaker. Karen noted that his life might be in danger, and decided to carry him behind Rune, her ride back to Majestic Tower. The rest of the soldiers stood up, and gathered their mates whom had sacrificed to the face of darkness. Lord Calvin looked at his men and felt ashamed of himself and thought “How could I ever let this unfortunate incident happened? I almost failed my mission as well.” Karen saw Lord Calvin in a daze and patted on his back and said “My Lord, do not try and anticipate of what we do not know. It is getting late. We should head to Majestic Tower immediately.” Lord Calvin nodded and requested his men to gather the remains and a small group of soldiers to escort back to the Capital. Location: K13 (Dining Hall, Neb Monastery, base of Mount Sophia, Western region of Black Knights Kingdom) At Neb Monastery, the rest of them were waiting for Erik’s reply. Siloux looked at Erik with sincerity and said “Erik, I want to learn White Magic from you. Let me stay with you.” Cecil went to Siloux and told him not to aggravate your injuries. Within a few moments, the healer ran in the dining hall and said “The carriage is prepared.” Lord Kenneth said to the rest “It’s time for us to leave to search for the remaining seven.” Erik halted them and said “That carriage is not meant for you. I have not told you, where to find them.” Erik walked towards Siloux and pat on his shoulders “Your training will start today. But, I will not accompany you at this stage. There is something you need to explore. Come here.” The healers assisted Siloux and followed Erik. The rest of them were confused and Princess Diana asked Adrick “What kind of training will he receive?” Adrick replied “I do not know as well.” Cecil followed them behind, hoping to find out Siloux’s fate.
  21. svelte_corps, congrats for emerging as the overall winner in this tough contest. You have done an excellent job with such interesting, creative story plot. I like it very much, and your MOC had placed such great emphasis on playability as well, without neglecting the overall layout. By the way, I had noted a little cute Indiana Fedora hat, at that corner. It does look great on you. Well done!
  22. Looking at this vintage review, I decided to give it a "4" Excellent set, taking into consideration that it was made in the early 1970s. The flatbed truck was constructed very well. I agreed that the flat bed (red baseplate) makes it looks amazing. You don't get such big parts in current LEGO sets anymore. The driver seat can still be modify slightly to add on a truck driver in it. I just love these blue doors! As for the Steam Shovel, I believed I had not come across a set that actually made use of thread as the main highlight, and done a very good job with it as well. The metal turning device is very surprised, and it somehow reminded me of a musical box. Brickster, thanks for adding in the construction figs into the set. It certainly added more points to this vintage set.
  23. Yesterday, I went and bought crazy lots of LEGO sets. There is one particular item, which is a great bargain for me! 5618 Troll Warrior x 12 7040 Dwarf Mine Defender x 1 7048 Troll Warship x 2 7627 Temple of the Crystal Skull x 1 The best buy of the all, is the 5517 Creative Barrel, XXL 1800. I bought it for approx USD$59 after discount. With a total amount of 1800 bricks, there are a pool of white, black, blue, red, green, orange, lime and etc in that huge barrel. It's fanastic to have this barrel to start with, for your bricks storage, to build a MOC, restoration or whatever with it. Therefore, one brick will cost roughly about $0.03 cents. Singapore, do not have pick a brick, unlike other countries. Some shops do offer similar services, but charge at a very steep price. Furthermore, this set was discounted at about 35% off retail price and it was actually released in 2007, around Christmas period. This is the breakdown from Peeron.
  24. After looking through the entries again and again, I have to vote for "Bar of the Future". It simply caught my attention and blow me away. Another close entry, was the "Robot Dancing Club Busted". I like how ricecracker create these robots, and its disco layout. Tough 2nd round. Slyowl, your defintion of "sissy" is certainly broad. These are great themes, please change it to something else. "Sissy" sounded so
  25. Lord Doom, Welcome to Eurobricks!
