Wow, it is amazing how many figures TLC could fit into a $35 USD set back then. This is one of my favorite castle sets just because it is so simple and compact.

Driven by the best AI on the planet, wielding double miniguns and sporting titanium armor, the X-1 minotaur light mech is a force to be reckoned with http://www.flickr.com/photos/37609861@N07/...157619755694521

I am using mainly plastic zip lock baggies, sorted by color. My minifigs are all in bags, and their weapons are in seperate bags as well. I really need a better system though.

Thanks. The bley BURP was there because I couldnt think of any thing else to stick there. I should have made a ruined wall or something up there.

Hey all, I have very recently gotten back in to legos, thanks to the new castle sets. I have been having alot of fun, but I have some questions: 1: What are some very essential pieces for castle building? I have alot of wall panels, and also alot of BURPs and LURPs. 2: What is the best source for getting castle minifigs cheap? 3: How should I go about storing my legos pieces? I have a large plastic tub, but its a pain to look for that little piece I desperatley need in a box full of all my other pieces. Thanks, Dwarf-brik

Ok, here is a MOC I made yestreday. It took me about 1 and a 1/2 hours. I was trying to get the feeling that it could be a real lego set you can buy, so I added some interesting play elements. The basic idea is that the dragon knights decide they really needed a moutain outpost, with a secret door. It has a tree, a longhouse kinda thing, and a small alcove you can reach by using the twisty stairs. Sorry for the use of BURPS, I dont really have any other way of making realistic rock. I cant get the pic posted, so just follow the link. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37609861@N07/3625094519/ EDIT: Heres a pic of the front. The rest are in the link.

Mad mini's, a lego wargame.
dwarf-brik replied to dwarf-brik's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
"It's a start but personally I find things way way way too vague. Making up your own stats out of the blue is just crazy. I understand though that you just wanted something quick and simple and easy to pick up on. However, there's something out there that is just that. Check out "Mechaton" It's a well-developed easy to learn game that uses mini mecha to fight with. Of course you could alter the rules a bit and use other types of minis or heck, prolly minifigs, or even any scale of models really, just alter the movement and ranges to fit the scale. But try and give it a shot, it's been given quite the good praise. Mechaton by Lumpley Games." Linkage, please! Dwarfy -
Hello all, I have been surfing the net for lego wargames, and have not found anyones that appealed to me. So I decided to design my own lego wargame on a whim. The materials needed to play are as follows: two rulers of any type, two 20 sided dice (d20's), a bunch of index card with lines for writing on one side, and last ut not least, lots of lego minifigs. Here are the rules. Pre-game: taking your index cards, write down your troops stats. here is an example: Royal swordman :hp: 3 _ _ _ dmg: 3. this is how much dmg the guy inflicts when he successfully rolls higher than the opponents def number def: 13. this is how high the attacker must roll to dmg his opponent. note that the defing player does not roll def. example: fig A is being attacked by fig b. fig b rolls a 14 and he hits because fig A's def value is 13. fig A takes 3 dmg, and ticks it off on little dashes. move :7'' this is how many inches the fig can move. after the cards have been made start the game. when the game begins, all players must agree on where their start zone is. After agreeing and deploying troop's how ever they want as long as they are BEHIND their start zone boundary line( you can make this with duct tape or some other tape), roll the d20. The highest roller go's first. Player a moves all his/her troops and attackes if possible. player B then does the same. this turn sequence goes on until one players troops are all killed, or an objective is reached. Here is a quick note on movement: if your troop's are behind there start zone, they can move as much as the want. I desinged this game to be simple and extremely flexible. If there are any question's or suggestions, please ask/tell me. Hope you enjoy, dwarfy

I wrecked up my dwarf mine mod and I was originally planing to make a goblin's hoard, But half way through, I had a snag with size and went ahead and made it for a crazy dwarf hermit, instead. I made it so I could pin it into three sections, as shown in the pics. I'll cut the chatter and show you the pics *sweet* . side one: front view: side view two: back view: all three sections unpinned: Dwarf P.s. is moc the right word? 8-|

Yes, your quite right. Back on topic, does anyone have a price list for the new castle sets? Im hoping that the Battle wheel will be $50. but thats just wishful thinking *wacko* . dwarf

Dwarves mining mod with troll cage and more
dwarf-brik replied to dwarf-brik's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
okay, sorry I overreacted. I built the troll cave to look like a chunk of rock the the dwarves hollowed out. My idea was that the non burp section is the front of the mine wich is outside and the troll cave was hollowed out rock so the troll couldnt bust out so easily 8- -

I got the lego dwarves mine for christmas(yay!), but when I finished building it I decided to mod it. I added a treasure chamber, took out the throne room, took out the train tracks and train, added a troll cave and generally gave the whole thing a MAJOR upgradeX-D . Here are the pics: Troll cave: Mining area, treasure room and jail: kitchen/raw ore smelting area: anvil and furnace (sorry bout the pic quality): front view: back view: please rate! dwarf
