So basically you want another Core Hunter? No thanks. The purple is the main reason we want him.

What I'm planning (besides the hands) is to trim the electric accents on his helmet and giving him gunmetal feet. That should help his colour scheme by removing the yellow and the clutter on his face. Besides, it helps the gauntlets stand out and look like...gauntlets, kinda like Ackar (grey hands, looked like gloves, oh yeah...)
-
I know what you mean. That's kinda disappointing. I was gonna do the same thing with the hands, but I was planning on silver gauntlets.
-
I'd have to agree on it's overuse. It's much like the use of silver in the Bionicle line (Mistika anyone...ugh). Come to think of it, isn't Surge pretty much the only set to come in blue in the new style?

Better yet, what's wrong with bright green (GL colour)? It just feels like lime-overkill. It would have helped on Speeda Demon in my opinion to give him some originality, but nope. He's lime green, like...Corrodor, Scorpio, Toxic Reapa... Yeah, I know it's hypocritical due to all the mata red going around, but thats a colour thats been dormant for like 5 years. Maybe I just don't like lime...

Tell me about it...unlike lime green, got too much of the stuff.

Well, I like the graphical update...the posing...new colours, but thats about it. The fact you can't use the new breakout torso when something as old as the XPlode helmet seems very jarring, not to mention that you can't adjust the armour's position, or weapon position, and lack of armour variety. That, and there's no new helmets for the heroes, not even the ones from Savage Planet!

Construct-a-Zurg - Toy Story

Yes. It's quite a common problem for all socket joints made between 2008-2011, where the 2.0 line of Hero Factory remedied the brittle joint mold. As far as I'm aware, the same has been done for the system-socket pieces as well, though I'm not sure if they come in purple. -
Okay, I'm gonna call it now. You see, the plot revolves around Von Nebula. It's established he's back, but due to the poor plot of his debut, noone can take him seriously anymore. Von Nebula then goes into clinic depression and grows his hair long (yup, Von Nebula has hair). It is then that one of his old friends Xplode inspires him to go into a singing career due to his wonderful voice, and thus half of the first half of the movie is taken up by his melodies, mostly revolving around how he hates Stormer. He becomes a hit, but then Justin Bieber comes along and pulls out a lightsaber. Von Nebula ends up injuring him, ruining his career until Michael Bay comes along and offers him a film career (which he refuses of course) and for the sake of action the heroes arrive in Power Rangers fashion (did I mention it's live action? Well, they wear rubber suits, 'kay?) and tell him he's an evil evil man. Little do they know however that the budget is smaller than this forum entry so they don't actually have weapons, and thus all seems lost until Von Nebula is abrubtly defeated by a falling handbag, which Xplode promptly steals. Von Nebula realises his misdeeds and becomes friends with Stormer again, going as far as to have a tea party with him in girly fashion. Suddenly Jawblade comes out of nowhere and shouts "DOUBLE OBAMA TERIYAKI" and the movie ends on a cliffhanger. Copyright to me.

For the love of...ummmmm...nah, that's cliche. Well, okay. We have pictures now. And I need to ask this. Why, oh why did they pose him like that. He looks fat. If they had him in something more dramatic, or even just standing tall, that'd look better than...whatever this pose is called (squatting?)
-
Live action? Really?
-
Oh, thanks for correcting me. And the thought made me laugh. Add boredom and you have a picture.

If I remember correctly Germany got them around June-ish (early right) and everyone else got August.
-
Alcohol huh? But enough about removing print, anyone seen the new sets yet? The other summer themes seem to be popping up quite early.

Wow...you certainly like a challenge. Well, currently it's hard to think of much, though I can help a bit with a few disjointed ideas. If you want size, Witch Doctor gives a good frame with some modifications. As for the hands, you may want to look up a set like Axxon (if not, just look up instructions on how to build the hands. I can get a picture if you want). Regarding colour, there aren't many dark red Hero Factory pieces. It does however have it's fair share of purple. If you can wait a few months, there's a set called Voltix with some purple pieces that may suit him, though for a figure of your Sentinel's size, I'd recommend using Pick-a-Brick for the purple torsos. Joker also has some purple. Thats about as much as I can help with, I dunno how you'd build the face. Good luck, and I hope to see the product when it's finished! MakutaDreadscythe

Speaking of Stormer, don't you find it a bit strange that he's the one on a motorcycle when he's more the bulky type? I'd expect him to use something more...chunky.
-
Sorry for the double post, but I believe that piece we speculate to be on Stormer XL's leg may also be used to hold the "paw" piece on Core Hunters back. I can provide proof if you wish.
-
Because another Joker would be redundant.

GAAAAHHH! MY EYES!!!!

When you put it like that it makes me feel sorry for the bike...
-
Well, this is probably taking into consideration that Core Hunter is the most threatening villain yet (I mean, has anything else actually been confirmed to "kill" heroes?). Or maybe the blue represents Makuhero nighttime, where he'd most likely be hunting.
-
I'd probably go with Black Phantom. He's just absolutely awesome and will rock your socks off (if at all possible btw).
-
If only if only the woodpecker sighs... ... I can't believe I just made a Holes reference...
-
To be honest, I hope he is. True, they're difficult to apply, but at least you don't need to get rubbing alcohol to peel it off, thus being more MOC friendly.
-
Not that I mind, at least we get pictures of them soon!
