On a side note, for all UK dwellers the new Hero Factory sets are on LEGO Shop at Home. Huzzah.
-
Gotta love how it never ends. Seriously, first time, it was like "Over 500 enemies? What?" On a high note, the music was cool. Hope they make a full on arrangement for it.
-
Well if that's the case then things are certainly getting interesting. About time the story started getting somewhere.
-
On another note, it seems apparent the new Brain Attack game has been released. Seems a bit surreal to see them donning PSY's invisible horse, but nonetheless it did make me laugh the first time.
-
Don't be throwing such a fit guys. This happened last year when they called Voltix Electro or something like that. Not to mention all this "Rampant Oceans" nonsense we had. Just wait till the pictures.
-
Right, over here in the UK the catalogues are popping through, so...hey. Prices. Furno XL - £14.99 Pyrox - £9.99 Bulk - £7.99 Bruizer - £9.99 Rocka - £7.99 Scarox - £7.99 Breez - £7.99 Ogrum - £9.99 So, about the same, except for the scout sets. They've gone up by £1. Bleh.
-
Honestly, I hope we don't, at least until ToyFair anyway. I like a bit of mystery in my sets. Besides, it give the first Brain Attack wave time to sink in a bit, not to mention some sets like Evo, Stormer and the abominable snowman have already had a preview in the Brain Attack...ummm...preview...REDUNDANCY!
-
Please LEGO. Please. Release a new Von Nebula. He's going at about £50 right now, it's stupid.
-
Why's Thresher such a candidate? Am I missing something here? Is there something I haven't read?
-
Whew...man...what a manly figure. Joking aside, this guy's actually kinda cool. His helmet is butt-ugly without the visor, but at least it resembles Bill's helmet more than...well, Tahu. That sword and shield combo's pretty snazzy too.
-
Not surprised he forgot. Scarox looks really bland...and skinny. Kinda like XT4, only it sucks and looks tacky. Anyways, regarding Rocka...well I like his weapons and the fact it's the same green almost as his head. Cool shield too.
-
Ummmm...motive much?
-
Who's to say it won't be used on Surge. If it was me doing it he would have had them on his wrists, kinda like Bulk 3.0, only not sucky.
-
Well in regards to eye colour I think this is a question for Front. Are there going to be new colours for the new heads?
-
Oh my gosh. They look so silly on that carpet, in a good way. I could totally imagine them take a sitcom route with this. Joking aside, those slugs are actually kinda cool. MIght pick up one or two.
-
Probably Vezon. Good times.
-
Whew, it's been a while. So yeah. That head...I'm not sure what to say. Heck of a lot better than the Av-Toran head that's for definite. Oh, and I notice Bruizer in the background. Anyone got more pics?
-
Okay, I've finally decided to try out the new levels on the Breakout game (after like 5 tries getting it to work) and...well, okay. I was impressed. Well, by Core Hunter and Speeda Demon anyway. Voltix' level is boooooooring. Seriously.

Hero Factory Modifications
MakutaDreadscythe replied to MakutaDreadscythe's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Regarding the mods, Stringer doesn't seem as necessary at first, but it's a trend I have with the smaller heroes. Besides already shortening the medium heroe's legs, I like to increase the height of smaller heroes by one stud so that the smaller and medium sets are almost the same height and more unified. I'll post a picture when I can. As for Core Hunter, this is more of a personal mod. I really hate the length of his arms compared to the rest of his body. He looks like a t-rex with those arms... -
Done, and done. For your second bit, no, I haven't had that problem, though the colours were slightly different.
-
I thought I might as well upload these pictures to show off some modifications I have done to my sets as a guideline to help those who want to mod their sets. Pictures will be put up every now and then, so stay tuned. "What if Stringer was orange?" Not a permanent mod, but I've recently got Core Hunter and I just couldn't resist, even if it was short-lived. Okay, Now onto the more important stuff. Voltix - Mainly I just wanted to change the arms so he didn't permanently have to hold his gun or his nonsensical yellow whip. I did extend his legs though just for a bit of consistency. Stringer - Credit to _shaddow_ for the gun design. Filled in the back with a blue foot, extended his legs by one stud and changed cladding on his legs. Core Hunter - Not much here, just lengthened his arms by one stud length. Seriously, his arms are short. Stormer XL - First, I shortened his legs. His arms seemed a bit short and lengthening them looked odd, so I shortened his legs to keep him more at a hero's height and to make his arms look longer. I also added a silver hero chestplate to cover the back more, as well as swap out the wide grey torso for a thinner black torso, giving the dual effect of heightening his shoulders and giving a smoother transition from huge chestplate to arms.
-
Just got Stormer XL, Voltix and Stringer. They're all fantastic, especially when modified. I can post some pictures if you want.
-
Okay, I'm calling it. Cute as hell pink/purple villain with a GIANT HAMMER OF DEATH.
-
You finished the revamp? Mind posting some pictures?

HeroFactoryRU on YouTube has uploaded some new adverts for Stringer, Voltix, Speeda Demon and Stormer XL. Turns out there are more new levels on the online game.
