  1. Part name: Cheese Slope double convex Part description: The same as Slope 2 x 2 Double Convex but with dimensions of a cheese slope Part usage: Excellent in making sloped roofs for vehicles.
  2. Now I'm building the NS class 1700 locomotive. Although a scale real one would be far too long I decided to build it's smaller non-existing brother though. It will be possible to motorize it with power functions (there is space left for PF battery + IR tower + RC train unit). THis is what I've got so far: It's 8 studs wide and it uses lots of SNOT techniques. I managed to achieve the smooth cheese slope in front/back.
  3. Upload bigger photos cause it looks very good but the pics are to small to see all the details!
  4. You can see the preview of the flashing lights system on my youtube channel just google : youtube fistachpl I'm writing from my mobile device and I can't paste the link. Also I posted a thread about flashing lights here on eurobricks
  5. Yeah I saw that he commence moc'ing soon but there is anoy of his own creation's there so far
  6. Here is little update and list of thing I still need to do (which is still very long). I now am trying to fix the boom to the chassis. I already have wheels with yellow rims (thanks to Ramzes who lent me them) To do list: 1) water cannon mechanism 2) undercabin's water cannons mechanisms 3) Pneumatically opened doors. And finally I need to model: 1) Equipment 2) Hose attachments and the end 3) cabin's exterior and interior 4) finish the roof So it's still around 2 weeks before the completion and the at least one more for updates and redesigning. The final size of the model is not yet know but it's huge. I will add 4 more pneumatic cylinders, lengthen the boom's second section. I need to find the place for 3 pneumatic switches though. It consists of 10 m of electric wires, over 6 m of pneumatic hoses and tons of gears and other parts. Wish me luck! :)
  7. It's a shame that having such a huge collection of parts I could not see any of you own creations.
  8. I don't know how much it can hold :) Unfortunately I disassembled it before first replies were posted in this topic. But at least 200 g or even more. It's not that tall as you both think. It was ~65 cm tall. Thank you guys for opinions. Anyway not many people like it though :) But I;m still pretty satisfied with it. Now I'm going back to my ARFF truck (Technic though :))
  9. Hello this is my next Town/Train MOC - the crawler crane with lattice boom. Click thumbnails for details: It has motorized winch and the switch with the lever is hidden in one of the equipment compartments. It also has the mechanism to adjust the angle of the boom (manually controlled). I hope you like it !
  10. Thank you all guys for warm opinions. Now my room is undergoing a paintjob therefore I can't build. As soon as painting is done I'm building a newer version also DBG but with yellow additions this time:)
  11. Thanks. I'm going to redraw them in 600 DPI soon though for a better result.
  12. Hello there. Like the trash I wanted to make minifigs based on game commandos behind enemy lines. I have all the designs for 5 commandos (I don't have spy's uniform yet) Here they are: I'm pretty satisfied with the design of the torsos. I now need to print them. I tested the torsos on my home printer. Here is the result: I covered the torso with transparent tape cause I wanted it to be more glossy. Although in real life it looks quite good it looks quite terribly on photos. I know I need to print them on a professional printer and that what I'm going to do but I still need some advice. Please share critique and comments.
  13. arrrrghhhh :) You stole my idea:) Just joking my friend:) I'm making Comandos guys (also based on this awesome game). I have all the parts I need except brickarms helmets and weapons and I need to make a decals:) Great job on this one! You gave me some inspiration. Can you please tell me if you used decals or you have printed torsos?
  14. I really like the way you modeled this engine although it's very ugly (I mean the original design :)). I like the work!
  15. it doesn't matter if the number of cars is 4 or 5. What matters is what's train's speed and how high it's centre of gravity is. You can increase the speed if you lower the centre of gravity on ALL cars and engines. It's simple physics!
  16. Extension wire is 8" = around 20 cm long = 25 studs not 30! But lights themselves have wire witch is around 25 studs long and that adds up to 50 st. Therefore in my opinion Two extension wires will be enough.
  17. My locomotive for My first Train project: Click to enlarge This is my first ever locomotive. Without Power functions but they are not needed for a big project as it will be stationary. I hope you enjoy it though. I will publish photos of the locomotive and cars while I get some more tracks :) in project's topic. Here is little gallery:
  18. Thanks for opinions. I added the photos with containers Ł= Check the first post.
  19. I added the description of the final version of the flatbed car. I hope Moderators don't mind me refreshing the topic by adding new post after my own. If so please let me know.
  20. 4 axle flatbed wagon Dimensions: Length (from buffer to buffer without magnets): 264 mm (33 st) Widtch: 64 mm (8 st) Height: 40 mm (5 st) It's the first wagon to my long term project "My First train". At first it was gray but in the meantime I build a diesel locomotive and I had to "repaint" the wagon so it's not in the same color. The car is compatible with containers designed by TLG (sets like 7939 cargo train etc. It can be loaded with two types of containers. Long one 24 st and two short 12 studs. They are fixed in position after mounting on a car and don't fall off while the train's on the move. Comparing to previous version, this (final) version was shortened by 2 studs and heightened by plate. I wanted to strengthen and stiffen it, moreover I added another brake for both trolleys. I'm publishing the locomotive soon but I need 2 more parts that has already been shipped from bricklink store. Then I will add some more photos of the wagon with the locomotive. I hope you like it. Please send critique and comments via email or here on EB :) I updated the WIP topic of course. Gallery:
  21. The game was rollercoaster tycoon :)
  22. I don't think the Ujoint will withstand the torque for 4 cyllinders. I assume that if you use 4 of the them arm of excavator, loader etc will be very heavy thus I have serious doubts about Ujoint capability of passing along such a huge torque.
  23. no it's not:)
