That is awesome! Great details - the locomotive in real life is quite simple but you captured the details incredibly well! I hop it gets frontpaged ASAP so other people can see this marvel.
-
I think you didn't catch enough details. It's too simple and definitely too small for such a big shuttle and it's too simple if you compare it to the shuttle. I like the idea!

Thanks guys. I'm thinking of adding Tile 1 x 1 with triangle sticker on board.

Really nice car extremely curved and rounded here and there, therefore impossible to be recreated from Lego bricks in that scale. But I really like how you did it. Well done!
-
The first one is better than second version. I Think you should post it in another category :) Good work - try to build one from the bricks!
-
Correct! But little modifier plates would be enough to open the door from outside. The train is only 6 studs wide.

it looks much more better now (the set is terrible. Maybe you can post a video?:)

Thanks mate! It's not mine - Jansued showed it in hsi MOC http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=49124

Thanks! Heavy USAR vehicles in Poland sometimes have small water tank (500 litres) and pump.

Hey Lightningtiger I took a liberty and posted the crossing signal of my own on my flickr account. I think that yours is too massive and therefore I made mine that looks a bit more lightweight. Check this here: Click to enlarge. Sorry I didn't have these radar dishes in black

This is my first in the whole series of rescue vehicles - the USAR vehicle. General photos: This is Urban Search and Rescue vehicle - that means it is sovereign in accidents, disasters, when people are drowning near the river bank or when you just need to take your cat from the tree. Therefore the crew has significant amount of equipment at their disposal. Let's see what's in there: Detailed description: Left front door: - gas detector - sorbent - gas mask - air tank Between front and rear doors you can find a fire hose. Left back door: - circular saw - hammer - axe Back door: - shovel - broom - wood saw - jaws of life, which are attached to the truck by a cable. The cable can be rolled up on a drum using the hose attachment on the right: Right rear door: - wrench for hydrants - communication equipment - water tank fill up indicator Small door: - 3 traffic cones Right front door: - life ring - medic bag - rope - pneumatic jack In addition to equipment on the side there is plenty of equipment on the roof. - Ladder - it can be rotated so the minifig can acces the following items: - body hook - pike pole - rescue board - water tank fill up hose that can be attached to the winch: And finally the photo of the whole equipment (except fire hose and jaws of life) can be found here: So, in total there are 25 different items (I count traffic cones as 1) inside the truck that can be used to save minifigs' life! In the cabin you can fit two fire fighters but they won't have much space there. Critique and comments encouraged:) See you in action (MOCs with this fire truck are to be released soon)!

This is the best police station I think!

I don't really understand nor share your enthusiasm about the allegedly super-uber-awesome Mercedes Benz series. The licensed series are at least 50% more expensive (here in Poland) than regular sets. I saw preliminary sets of Pirates of Carribean and I must admint this series will be all about minifigs because sets are tragedy. But here? I hate paying 50% more for Mercedes Benz logo - which I can make myself because it will be a sticker. Designing an Unimog cabin is quite simple because there have already been many of those on Brickshelf or Flickr. That's why I hate licensed products and until when I heard about the Mercedes I was extremely happy about license-free Technic line. Now I'm not purchasing the Technic flagship for 2011.

There are definitely more coming. I only wished the Lego WWII would be a bit more popular :) But huge thanks for the comments guys:)

Congratulations for all the winners and participants - you made a great contest!

Tank you guys. I had long thought the topic was deep in an abyss :) Thank you for nice comments. I hope to make another good nice train MOC in the future :)
-
The scope is a normal lego part I found it in last town bulldozer. You need to buy the double side clip though.

Here in Poland we have a different type of farming and I don't know what exactly you would like to build. Can you post some reference photos?:)

Here is my next World War II vignette with my custom made minifigures. The Commandos proceed to enemy's territory through the fence. Click the images to see them in larger dimensions. Through the fence During the day: At night: And some more photos here: Any critique and comments encouraged.

Youcan change black pole into LBG pole but more improtant is to remove the bottom :) I would use round brick 1 x 1 instead of the part you had used. :) sorry for another comment on it but the one you have is way too big.Keep improving. I'm waiting for LEDs :)
-
The best is that LBG (used to be light gray) doors are back! - 3 in a set! Share part 3 please:)

We do not need frypans! We do not need frypans! Frypans for women ! yeah :) :) just kidding:) Sacrificing few frypans for such an awesome lightning effect? Go for it!, says I. It's better in black - but I still think the bottom has too big diameter. I would use antennas instead this space thingies.
