(Mountain road and rail cargo station) This is my remake of the awesome 4555 Cargo Station set. It took some time to build it, mainly because of several bricklink orders with Dark bley slopes. I'm deeply sorry that only two baseplates are green. I hope blue and tan baseplates do not disturb. Special thanks to rh from polish Lug and some other people who expressed their opinions of truck I did some time ago. I hope it looks better now. It is fully playable and will be tested by my Godson next week. Enjoy and comment please:) Overall photos: Minifigs' perspective:

You can put it in the middle of the locomotive, between the axles. If you put it very low (behind these items that are between the axles) you will have plenty of space on top of rechargeable battery.

PF IR-receiver limits
Fistach replied to Tobbe Arnesson's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well for me current allowed by IR receiver is high enough to not bother about it. -
But I like Lego star wars - I really do! All I tried to say is that it goes bad direction. How can I not to blame prices? They are far too high! Especially here in Poland. You pay 0,5 PLN ~0,17 $USD for a piece - or even more. In normal sets it's 50% cheaper. About Lukeys: I was speaking in general - not if someone just starts collecting SW sets. Here are all (i think) the Luke's you could get: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=1&q=luke&catLike=W&v=2 22 ! LOL - it's a shame for me.

I'm also sick of these tonnes of new types of clones, droids etc. I also hate the idea of having 10 luke skywalkers - I generally hate licensed products - once for their high - TOO HIGH - prices, secondly for personalized minifigs. I would prefer sets to be sold separately without minifigs and that you could buy minifigs as impulse sets. It would stop the uber-high prices of minifigs on Bricklink and personally I think lego could have made much more money this way.

[WIP] Airport fire engine
Fistach replied to Fistach's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It has 4 driven wheels (3rd and 4th axles. Unfortunately it won't pump water. The water cannon is too far for a reasonable number of pumps, moreover I don't have cash for more pumps (I prefer to spend it on something else). -
Chopper
Fistach replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
BTW, I think it's first bike with steering + full suspension, isn't it? Did you try to change these huge gears at the end with a chain? It would look much better but I'm not sure about it's performance. -

I'm refreshing the topic because I needed to add another pneumatic circle for more functions and it's construction is coming to an end. I hope to make it before December:) Because of quite clever engineering it was very easy. I just had to lift few bricks together. Here are the pics: -

Great creation. One thing I dislike is the front suspension which is too horizontal. Great work! -
Well it seemed normal to me. But I will try to raise it and put it a plate higher. I didn't base it on any speciql model:) it would be very difficult and recognizqble model in this scale. hanks for opinion though

The Spy has german uniform therefore I didn't make civilian-commando skin for him. Thanks for the comments:)

After a long preparations I'm proud to present you two and a half armies, which fought during the Second World War. US Army: From Left: Bazooka soldier, two soldiers with BARs, Captain with Thomson, Three M1 Garand soldiers. Wehrmacht: From left: Panzerfaust Grenadier, Heavy Machine Gunner, Soldier with MP40 (behind), Captain, Soldier with MP40, Lieutenant with MP40, grenadier. Royal Commandos: (based on the Commandos game series) I really recommend you to play that game. From left: Sniper, Driver, Sapper, Green Beret, Diver This is the original photo I hope you like the designs. I do not have back prints yet. I would like you to notice all soldiers have the equipment designed to their role in the army. The BARs, M1 carbines and Thomsons were painted by me for better looks. Any critiques and comments encouraged.

This is my newer version of Opel Blitz. It can carry 6 troops along with theirs weapons and equipment. I have not printed the nazis torsos' yet stickers so I'm using my custom made commandos instead. Width of the cabin is 2 studs. The back is 6 studs wide. The benches at the back are sepearate so troops don't touch each others legs. More photos here: Some more are comming soon when I have nazis ready.

Please remove this topic. I posted it in wrong category!

So why I'm using it for few months and have no problems? I also tested the valve before posting it and switched it to left -> right, right-> left for around 500 times stalling the motor randomly. MOREOVER I used it in two mocs (one is not done yet but extreme tests of the arm took a while already) - still NO PROBLEMS with several thousand switches of the valve. In addition Dmac's and mine autovalves use the same way to return to center - if mine kills the motors then his does it either. His design was used in several MOCs already - and still NO PROBLEMS.

Great design but it's pretty useless cause it can't run on a curved tracks. But still it has great design.
