  1. [GALLERY] Click thumbnails Tech sheet: Length (with removed drill): 540 mm Width: 210 mm Height (boom lowered): 195 mm Weight: 2350 g Speed: 0,1495 m/s Boom length: 335 mm Drill feed length: 140 mm Drill feed speed: 0,051 m/s In MOC there are: 2x PF XL 5x PF Medium 3x PF Light 3x PF switch 3x extension wire 500mm, 500mm, 200mm) 3x PF IR (All channels occupied) 2x PF Linear Actuator 1x BB 2x Pneumatic cylinder 2x Pneumatic switch 1x Pump Functions: There are several functions. Drivetrain: Extremely simple. Two PF XL motors. The drill: The drill - the main function of the vehicle. It's lowered and rotated by two PF Medium motors. There are two pf medium motors in the drilling head. One is used to move the drill forward/backward and another medium motor rotates it. The driller can drill perpendicular to the surface or at around 20 degrees. V6 engine, lights Check the images for the functions. Pneumatyka At first I didn't plan to apply the pneumatics to this MOC but I had some spare room inside and thought I could use it. Two pneumatic cylinders open two hatches. Steered separately. I didn't have much room inside on the right side but still managed to put there a pump. IR Receivers Are quite well hidden inside. Battery Box Check the movie to see how to do that. It's very simple and fast. Movie Check the movie here: That would be all. Thank you for seeing the MOC. I'm awaiting the critics and comments.
  2. Thank you guys for the warm words. I completely forgot to write that I based on 60 k tunner loader and it has the cabin raised along with the platform :) Personally I thought that this truck has got a very small number of functions so I'm really surprised by your words: But of course, I'm glad to hear that. Yeah that's sad true but we've got mine on brickshelf. Lugpol (polish lug) member declared that he will make sth like this - not Technic though but System. I can't wait to see the result, he is very good.
  3. Hello! I would like to present my first Technic MOC ever! Aircraft Loader - Material Handling Equipment Technical data: Dimensions: Length: 80,5 cm / width 17,5 cm / Height: 16,5 cm (platform lowered, excluding antenna) 30 cm (platform raised, excluding antenna) Max speed: 0,72 km/h Turn radius: 68 cm Weight: 2658 g Suspension: none Drive train - steering - PF Medium - 2 x PF XL Other functions: 2 x PF medium - platform raising/lowering Small pneumatic cylinder for opening the doors This size and kind of trucks are used usually in conflict zones where the cargo plane after landing has to take off ASAP because on the airport it's sitting ducks. Hitting a plane like Hercules or Galaxy C-5 is quite easy (if you compare it to other objects) even with the RPG. It's obvious that such plane costs a fortune. Why did I choose this kind of truck? The reason is very simple. I wanted to make something that was never built before from LEGO bricks. I've spent lot of time on brickshelf and couldn't find vehicle of the same kind:) Let's go back to functions. As I said before there are not many. Although I'm really satisfied with the chassis and drivetrain, I'm still not satisfied with the platform raising lowering. It was luck of parts (I've literally three black beams left) and what's more important - lack of experience. I didn't manage to balance the front of the platform and it's tilted to the left a bit. It takes much more time to raise front than back of the platform. To balance the platform I filled the backup wheel with black pins - it really helped. On the platform you may find some rollers to allow better movement of the cargo crates. The truck has 5 axles. 1,2,5 are steering axles and 3,4 are driving axles. No suspension :( Two PF XL motors handle the weight of the truck with ease even if you put a 4996 Beach House on top these still have huge reserve of power. The cabin is provided with the pneumatically opened doors. The pump is on the bottom on purpose - I wanted the platform to weight as much as it was only possible. The doors open from 0 to 90 degrees. In the rear there are lights - in red colour. There is a cable attached to the front but I didn't manage to buy the next pair of lights yet :( How to take off the battery box is written on the photo. Gallery Link: O tutaj :) Click thumbnails for deep links. Unfortunately you may see the lack of experience but as I said before: this is my first technic MOC EVER and the first one since the Dark Age :) Beofre I only had the 8042 Please share any comments & constructive critics. my email: fistachpl@gmail.com
  4. The best pirate MOC for few days! IT's really awesome. I really like the idea of magnets to hold this together;) First of all, the ladders are awesome. The skull entrance really stands out amongst other skull doors throughout the history of the lego sets and MOCs as well. Secondly I love the idea that this hideout is waht all pirate hidout should ever be - huge gold depot;) Finally the women leader of the pirates is an excellent addition to these minifigs. Thee only thing that disturbes me is the size of a cannon - it's a bit oversized because if it shot I would draw back 2 metres and fell on the other side of the hideout. But I think that the imperial guards are well trained and experienced soldiers so they will quickly find out that it is the pirate-skull-hideout :) Good work man! Kepp it comming.
  5. I really admire that you wanted to include as many details as it was only possible in this MOC by I dislike the overall shape of the car. I've never seen a jeep like that. The MOC is good as the technique/detail MOC but not good as the jeep MOC.
  6. At last! They will be able to focus more on new cityand castle themes. but I also feel sorry to Ef - fans, but imho EF was a weak theme and I was almost sure TLC would have withdraw these from shops in 2008.
  7. The images are blurred! Scene is nice and I really like it although SW is not my favourite theme.
