  1. Thanks a lot!
  2. Thanks melbs fot this screenshot! When does it appears in the movie? I've watched it mmany times and didn't saw this view... And I think the screenshot I found on google that I mentionned before in this topic comes from the videogame!
  3. Really brilliant entry! I really like the way you stacked rooms! The is really smart and details are present and well made!
  4. Nice entry! Il ove those little humoristic little scenes (sweeping robot, ET and ET dog on the street...!)
  5. I really like your entry! B ut I fond this quite terrestrian looking (like like public work temporary buildings)! There are some really good ideas and really well realized! I especially like the greenhouse!
  6. Waow! Brilliant entry! I love your mansion! Really stylish, well finished, everything is fine!
  7. If you are planning a layout, and trying to fit it in some specific dimensions, there are some little things you'll need to know: -standard basplates (32studsx32studs) mesure 25x25cm (that would help you counting how much of them fit on your table -lego train track are 8 studs wide. But curves uses a specific radius (I don't know how long...) but there are some tips for placing tracks: -you can try planning your circuit using this kind of software: http://bluebrick.lswproject.com/ . That allow you to use basplates and lego tracks (be carefull some tracks are not official one but are customs ones made by modifications of official ones) -there is a kind of standard way that could be use, especially form meetings/displays/events... that makes it easier to connect to other people and that could help you. We often use two train tracks on one baseplate (that means 4 parts as one track is as long as the half of the baseplate). The track edge is 4 studs away from the edge of your basplate and track are separated by 8 studs. I hope that was clear (English is not my mother thongue) and that would help you!
  8. Nice collection! I mean nice collection of modular buildings but... Nice collection of Gibson LesPauls!!!!
  9. I agree with TheLegGodt, you can by, for example, the 7938 that is quite cheap (don't know where you are from but I got it for 80€ on amazon)... And you'll get tracks and a full kit to motorize your train with PF (and a lot of extra parts!!!)
  10. Wow! I'm not a fan of architecture theme but your MOC is amazing!!!! I really enjoy it! Congrats, this is really impressive!
  11. This is not my vision of MOCing (because not clutching parts) but it's really well made! Amazing creations using only cheese slopes! It's impressive! Congrats!
  12. This is a good remake of the 4563 engine! I like your vision of this engine. You give it a really powerfull look! I have the 4563 set dispatched and I should think recycling it like you did!
  13. For me, one of the most cusomisable way to display lego sets is that: (found on google). I use the same type of shelves in my room with 50cm wide boards (50cm allows to fit 2 rows of baseplates: one row of roads and one row of modular buildings). It's cheap, easy to place and to use, can be removed easily and shelves can be moved up/down really easilly and quickly! (But I don't have doors in front of it like on the photograph, I like to see my LEGO sets or MOCs)
  14. Actually, I'm not sure this image came from the movie... It can come from the video game. I have to investigate this ^^. Does someone know at which moment can we see bob's flying "thing" or his trailer in the movie???
  15. This is an awesome fire station! I especially appreciate the building on the right side! It's all good for me! The color scheme fits wonderfully, size is really good, the buiding really have relief, looks modern!!! Congrats!!!!! I really enjoyed it and I have no improvments suggestions for you. I don't know if you tried to recreate the original one but yours look better!!! Did you made some interiors???
  16. Great MOC! I was also hopping that the set included the alternate build but not! I was also aiming to built BOBs trailer but I need ti get the set first! What I can tell you is that your version is really good! But I find it's lacking a sign board on the roof! And I find great to have kept the turning mechanism for the meat! So much things into a tiny trailer! Good job! I loog forward to get the lego movie dvd to see more what It really looks like. The only image I can find is this one: http://cache.lego.co...bricksburg2.jpg
  17. Entry 3: 3 points Entry 5: 2 points Entry 10: 1 points Congrats to everyone! Nice MOCs!!!
  18. Really reallistic reproduction! That is a very good job! It is the best replica of this engine I've seen so far! How does it looks in curves? Does the DBG chassis turns when the red cabin stays straight?
  19. This is a clever and funny idea! Looks awesome! But what happens when it rains? ^^ Congrats!
  20. Isn't it the same in the 4555 Cargo station? Or maybe it's a 24 studs long in that set...
  21. Nice 4x4!!! You're ready for the Paris-Dakar... in Argentina! lol... This would be better if a helmet would fit on the minifigure's head. Maybe you can make a chassis getting lower in the center of the car. This is a great job. It looks really nice and realistic!
  22. Thank you both guys!
  23. Thank you Doom! And I posted a picture of the real train because I knew that most of you d'ont know theese french trains as you're not living in France!
  24. Thank you LegoPanda! I tried to be as close of the real train as possible but It was not always easy. And I used less windows to make the train not too long for running in curve tracks!
  25. Really nice and detailled level crossing. I really like the design and functionnality. I've already seen on BS that type of motorization by strings under the road pulling on fences. Maybe that was yours?
