  1. Arthur and Barur will also rest under the same conditions; if this is not possible, Barur will heal himself IF he actually took damage, Staff of the Cultist Battle-Mage, remember, Arthur, De'kra, and Thalion at the cost of 4 Ether. I'm still working on the loot distro. Tanma, if De'kra is going to change classes, will the Explosive Handcannon re-enter the loot pool? Whether you do or not, that's totally fine, but if so, that changes my distribution matrix.
  2. Me neither! I kept expecting to kill it, since I have a history of bad rolls with Nostrum. I honestly expected 1 or 2 SHIELD rolls through the entire thing, just enough to buy a couple more Nostrum to slowly build up my supplies. Not that I'm complaining; this is one mechanical reason I picked Sorcerer over Mystic Knight in the first place. Please please please do a Zepher and post the PM portion in the main topic after the conclusion of the Quest.
  3. Loot distribution, why do you hate me so? On the plus side, awesome loot, supremely well thought-out, Pie!
  4. OOC: Did you roll for Barur's escape chance from the SotCB? Not that it'd affect his XP, but it'd save him Health. "I--Jules! You're not dead!" Arthur let out the breath he hadn't even known he had been holding. He holds out his hand to his fellow spellcaster. "No hard feelings?" Arthur then turns to the Captain. "I'll see what I can do to convince our employer to compensate you, at least partially--at the very least, they owe you for the cost of repairs, I think. I wouldn't let down your guard, though--whoever is behind these thefts will know they've been found out once the Magpie sails back into port so early. I don't know exactly what we'll face when we reach port, but I'd advise everyone to remain vigilant." Loot distro in a few minutes, once I pull up the spreadsheet. EDIT: Just realised, Captain Illdria should have 15 extra Gold. Not that it makes any difference to us, but to her, it might be very important. Also, my head hurts from trying to divide this stuff fairly but in-character. Blast! EDIT 2: You know what, I'll deal with this in the morning, I REALLY need sleep before I try to figure out this mess. Good night!
  5. Pie, if De'kra used a Remedy on me, would it restore my Defense? Never mind, realized it would be a waste of a Remedy. Autoplay on!
  6. I keep forgetting that my Shield doesn't do damage, though. I might ought to have given my Nostrum to Illdria because of that, now that I think of it. ...naaaaah.
  7. Same order and actions, except heal Arthur at 15 Health or less.
  8. If only we had a Cannoneer! ...Or a Paladin. "Unfortunately, even with their current elemental advantage, the Sentinel is too well-defended for that strategy to work."
  9. Not if my Nostrum has anything to say about it!
  10. "Right, new plan: I'm the only one who attacks the Sentinel, the rest of you stand by to heal me if I get hurt." Arthur Attacks the Sentinel physically from the Back Row, as Barur stands by to heal Arthur if he takes damage. Battle Order: Arthur Barur De'kra- Use Potion on Arthur if Arthur is at 12 Health or less, otherwise do nothing Thalion- Use Potion on Arthur if Arthur is at 12 Health or less, otherwise do nothing Illdria- Do nothing Once everyone has confirmed they're OK with this plan, we can autoroll again until the Sentinel uses Tri-Dazer, or until Arthur ends a Round at 12Health or less.
  11. Well, if it gets another Special Damage, I'll just have Arthur bash the heck out of it alone and put everyone else on healing duty, just to absolutely minimize the odds of triggering it. You forgot Barur escaping unscathed thanks to the Staff of the Cultist Battlemage.
  12. Now we see why taking out the minions first paid off: If Filmore were still around to heal the Sentinel, we'd be totally screwed. ...as it is, we're only mostly screwed.
  13. So in other words, you rolled the 1 out of the die for that round. In all honesty, as a QM I don't think I'd bother, for just that reason.
  14. Let's keep autoplaying, same conditions as before.
  15. Once again, Nerwen shows us a complex, nuanced character. A tolkien-esque Elf calmly talking about killing, even desiring it from her allies, rather than experiencing regret over the bloodshed? Very fun to watch.
  16. To MOST of the party. Arthur's in his element, just like he was against the final phase of the Splinter. Suicidal maniac. Odd Question to QMs: when rolling for Assassination against enemies that are immune to Assassination (particularly where Gold Reaper is involved), do you actually roll for a result and then ignore it because the enemy is immune, or do you "skip" the Assassination roll for immune enemies and only roll for enemies that CAN be assassinated?
  17. Barur heals Illdria, since she is injured, but otherwise... Same actions and Battle Order. As long as no one drops to 21 Health or below at the end of each Round, I think we can autoroll until the Sentinel next uses Special Damage.
  18. "Thalion, do nothing until its defense is lowered; there's no sense in wasting your Ether." Arthur and Barur repeat their actions. Same Battle Order.
  19. Ah, OK, that's perfectly fine, let's have him use Kapura, still from the Back Row then, if that's OK with him.
  20. "Full assault! Barur, you're on healing guard." Battle Order: Arthur- Sentinel, Physical Attack, Back Row De'kra- Explosive Handcannon, Back Row Illdria- Sentinel, Back Row Thalion- Physical Attack, Back Row(?) Barur- If someone takes Damage, heal them; otherwise, Attack Sentinel, Back Row
  21. Arthur casts Darkness from the Back Row, as Barur heals Illdria. Battle Order: Arthur De'kra Thalion Barur Illdria
  22. "Gah! That's it, I'm taking you out if it's the last thing I do!" Arthur casts Armor Sundering and physically attacks the Sentinel from the Back Row as Barur tries to heal Thalion. Battle Order: Arthur Barur De'kra Thalion Illdria
  23. I think it's kind of brilliant, though it is being used a little much. Enemy level that scales to the level of the attacker...great solution to the "level gap" issue.
  24. "I'll help momentarily, Captain." Arthur uses his Healing Staff on Thalion while Barur heals Arthur. Battle Order: De'kra- Explosive Handcannon, Sentinel, BR Arthur- Healing Staff, Thalion, BR Thalion- nothing, BR Illdria- attack Sentinel, BR Barur- heal Arthur, BR
  25. "Captain, I believe--" Suddenly, De'kra breaks his silence, and Arthur's head whips around, his weapon following--fortunately, it was the Healing Staff he had used a moment before. "Sorry, De'kra?" the Sorcerer said--unsure of whether or not he actually meant it. Battle Order: Illdria- Sentinel, Back Row Arthur- Healing Staff, De'kra, Back Row De'kra- potion, Back Row Thalion- nothing, Back Row Barur- Heal Thalion, Back Row
