IMO - both dinosaur sets are excellent! Lots of great models and nice selection of parts that can be used for spaceships and MOCs. Lots of the "Republic Red" color...

I went over to my local Toys R Us to see if any of the new Star Wars sets were in and they were pretty much cleared out! Amazing! This TRU usually keeps plenty of stock on hand even during Christmas and they only had a few scattered sets...

I agree. I've already seen the first two in stores and they are pretty small. I was hoping for some large sets like the mobile crane and medium sets like the fire rescue truck. I guess we'll see what else they have...

I saw this at Toys R Us in Woodland Hills, CA yesterday. They had a ton of them and it was $19.95 for 380 pieces. Looks like a great set.

I thought is was mentioned by some members who when on the Lego tour that a UCS Jedi Starfighter would be released in 2006. Maybe that is the 7th set?

In terms of what other sets are coming, my money is on the sail barge. This is pure speculation, but I just have a feeling that this one is on its way... 8 figs, 800 pieces, $90.

I've seen all these Spider Man 2 sets on sale at Target in Southern California over the past few weeks. They were clearing out their Harry Potter stuff too. Hogwarts castle was $41. The Spider Man train set was $10. There are still some left (at least there was a few days ago)...

I am also very interested in the V-Wing. I'm hoping they will come out with the shuttle as well.

I visit both this site and FBTB almost daily and enjoy both sites for what they provide. I definitely know to come here for any news and scoop on new sets (like this). The Buy/Sell/Trade/Finds forum over there seems to have a lot more action than this site (for whatever reason). Both sites have many friendly and helpful members. It's all good.

I think this is great (if true). We get a couple of needed redesigns and some new ships. Plus we get some great minifigs as well. These should all be reasonably priced too ($20-40).

Yep, that was me. I'm new to Lego since December 2004 (well, I did build them A LOT about 25 years ago too). I frequent both sites (as well as Rebelscum) and figured I would share the news to others who would be as excited as I was. At least I didn't take credit for it, I did mention I got it somewhere else (which was your post.) I also posted (on both sites) that TRU was running an add in the Sunday paper for buy one get one 50% off. Some of you are lucky enough to have EP III sets in your local TRU and can take advantage of that now. For those of us who don't have a local TRU or they don't have their EP III stock in yet, your post made our day. At any rate, the new sets are on their way and we will all be building ARC 170s, Clone Turbo Tanks and Wookiee Catamarans soon enough... :-D :-D

It seems highly unlikely that LEGO would produce a third Slave 1 set when there are so many other ships that need a remake (A-Wing, B-Wing, AT-ST, etc.) Now a UCS version of Slave 1 with all the cool things from Episode II would get my attention...
