  1. The NXT news shocks me. It seems there are tons of these on Ebay selling well below MSRP. Overall this is fantastic news!
  2. The dino is really cool! They were showing it on TV from the NY Toy fair. Really neat. I like the house too, but I'm going to pass on the ferris wheel...
  3. I totally agree! I'd love to see a UCS castle of some type. Something huge with 20 or so minifigs would be awesome! Of course, a giant pirate ship would be just fine as well. I'd even be happy with a 2000-3000 piece town like some have suggested.
  4. I'm looking forward to all three (especially the bulldozer). Any idea when these will be released?
  5. Well, I got to admit that I ordered two as soon they became available in the USA. Then of course I started feeling guilty for spending almost $1,100 on two LEGO sets. So, I'm digging through my extra stock to figure out what I can sell to make up for it. I already sold a MISB 4500, 4501 and 4504 to start building up the cash to pay the bill in October. At least we have eight more months before the charge hits our credit cards. *wacko* This is going to be an expensive year for LEGO. I'm looking forward to the new Technic, Castle, (some of the) Mars Mission, Star Wars and the Creator sets. I think LEGO has done a great job in the past couple of years in brining out some fantastic sets across several different lines. So far, 2007 looks to be the best yet.
  6. That would be cool!
  7. Castle looks great! Thanks for posting.
  8. Wow, I just saw this. Amazing that someone still had one sealed in the box: Ebay auction 6276
  9. $540 (including tax) / 5195 pieces = 10.39 cents per piece.
  10. Ordered mine just now ($540 including tax). October 1 can't get here soon enough...
  11. I like the Certificate of Authenticity. As if having the ship, minifigs, manual and box were not enough to prove that it was an actual Star Wars LEGO set...
  12. Wow, almost 5,200 pieces + 5 minifigs and a certificate. Hopefully, it will be available in the US soon... *wacko*
  13. Those prices seem odd to me. Does it make sense that the 7664 TIE Crawler would be almost TWICE the price as (presumably) a similar sized 7663 Sith Infiltrator? One would almost guess the Infiltrator could be larger than the TIE Crawler. The only question is if the tank treads are causing the price to go WAY up?
  14. Notice it has a bottom turret and SEVEN landing gear. Detail is amazing!
  15. And here is the money shot: Four figs but no droids. Definitely Episode IV. And another good shot (notice the landing gear):
  16. Check it out. I started messing around with the filenames and found another view: You can definitely see Han and Chewie! Check out the detail on the back:
  17. Must be the Hoth base then *y*
  18. Wow, that looks great! When you zoom in, it almost looks like there are minifigs in the cockpit... interesting. The detail is fantastic! Any idea how much? Rumor was $500 (US).
  19. No problem. Enjoy the ship!
  20. I doubt they would do another Technic AT-AT since we had one already in the darkside developer kit. I can't think of any Star Wars Technic that has been done since Episode 2 (Hailfire Droid, etc.) Personally, I'd like to see some Episode 3 Technic like a General Grievous. At least they should do something with the new Mindstorms NXT (like something popular like R2D2.)
  21. We know both the Hoth Base and Falcon were 'unofficially confirmed'. We are speculating (and hoping) that at least one (or both) are shown this weekend at the NY Toy Fair.
  22. Interesting to see Technic doing so well. Seems to do much better in Europe than here in the US. At Christmas, about the only thing left on shelves here were the Technic sets...
  23. Wow, that is amazing!
  24. By all means, please do. I enjoy a good discussion! Do you think that the obvious lack of photos and information implies that this was a controlled leak of information and LEGO is slowly stringing us along (not wanting to show everything at once?) Ah, so it is the NY Toy Fair and it is this Sunday! Perfect, at least we don't have too many more days to wait. Hopefully, we will get some more pics and this mystery ship will be revealed. Plus, I'd love to see pics of the Hoth Base and UCS Falcon. Does the fact that the show is close to the Connecticut office increase the chance of us seeing any more sets?
  25. I thought that too at first, but upon closer inspection it is not from Grievous' starfighter. The more I thought about this, the more I think it is something simple and easily explained. Here are my reasons: 1. If the photographer had enough knowledge of Star Wars LEGO to identify the TIE Crawler as being something new and newsworthy surely if this mystery object was another new set, they would have taken photos of it as well. 2. I can't believe that if there was another new set shown, there would not be ANY pictures of it from anyone else who attended. 3. Even if photos were restricted, I would have thought some news or atleast some credible rumor would have surfaced by now. Anyway, those are my thoughts and I'd love to be proved wrong (it would definitely not be the first time I was wrong.) I seem to remember hearing there was another toy show coming up soon so hopefully, we will get clarification on it soon.
