  1. Ah yes on closer inspection they are the trans-black...I was never one for detail. In the end man it's what you think looks best, it is your army, and that's the good thing about lego, you can swap back and forth
  2. Thanks man, love the amphibious carrier and recon vehicle. I need to get building again...
  3. Love the trip pick, looks like something I'd do. Didn't lego make some translucent black visors? I think I have one or two, that could work if you were desperate haha, but to be honest the double coloured arms I think works well. I think it would've been cool to pull the Sandtrooper one arm look, but I think overall it looks better, and you need your army to look good, not just kill well Great army though, I really need to starting building one of my own for my evil dude (sigfig) I could cheap out and use Stormies/Clormies, but I would be cool to have another army for some intense cross-theme fighting
  4. Thanks for doing this daily man. Flaming box isn't the most interesting set I could think of, but a good parts bit, never can have too many of those box thingys
  5. I know I'm probably repeating what the others are saying, but yeah it looks cool, but there is just something odd about the look of them. Maybe it's the actual green that makes it look weird, I dunno. I think it'd be interesting to see a comparison between one coloured arm and two. As far as the Visors go, I also see what you're saying, but surely your top guys won't get killed anyways :-D so swapping equipment wouldn't be an issue. I just think a Black Visor would looks awesome with the green helmet
  6. I really like it man. I like how there has been the green colour co-ordination between the troops and helicopter (only two of yours I've seen so far) I really like the overall shape of it, and it's evident you've put a lot of thought into it. The NOTAR idea fits in better than I thought it would, although it's probably the streamlined look that help it. Those are some beastly weaponry too
  7. Yeah good point, plus a 3 to 1 ratio wouldn't be too bad really. I mean if Indy had his bag then I wouldn't mind getting a few more of them and whatnot. So much potential for this line though, lets hope they keep going strong.
  8. I would love to see Lego come out with some Musical instruments. I tried making some brick built ones ages ago which were less than impressive, though served it's purpose. They could perhaps initially incorporate them in a city set perhaps, with a small outside stage with equipment (like amps, the gun rotation piece from the Slave 1's make good amps) and a band. I'd also like to see more colour variations on the new Anakin hairpiece, as well as some unique looking hairpieces (without going overboard on the unique bit) Lego Music ON!
  9. Well Luke was never particularly found of Stormies, but we are getting plenty. We can only hope for a Nazi (or Notzi, whatever you want to call them) battlepacks haha! As long as they're not with a dropship :-|
  10. Thanks for doing this review, I've always wondered what you got in the advant calenders, seems pretty sweet so far. I am a sucker for the lego fire extinguishers, they look so cool yet so simple
  11. I live in South Launceston And thanks everybody for the replies, I didn't expect so many so quick. I feel special :-D
  12. I doubt they will too, but I don't mind if they keep pushing the boundaries with stuff like this. The two vehicles in the other Indy set (name escapes me, but you know the one I'm talking about) are very similar, and with the torso's and that, they're pretty close to the mark. Now we just need and Indy tank set where Indy was fighting on top of
  13. Thanks for the great pictures, I'm officially sold, I'm going to go through an expensive period with lego. But there is no way I'm missing getting such an awesome Jones Snr minifig! The rest of the set is pretty sweet. Simple and effective!
  14. Hello to everybody interested enough to click on this thread. I am Big T (a nickname that has stuck since my high school life) and have been a long time reader, first time poster of these boards. As far as lego preference, I a bit of a castle nut, and a lot of the recent city sets have also sparked my ever increasing interest. I've been an on again off again lego fan for as long as I can remember. Star Wars though is probably my main area of interest, especially with some Rebels to use! I'm from Australia, more specifically the small island underneath it known as Tasmania. If you have any more questions feel free to fire 'em away!
