Thanks for this, it made me laugh. I am in love with an AFOL . I say join them (and I now say that I am an AFFOL, to some extent anyway). My life has been more fun since I added Lego and I am finding my own theme interests. Now, we both have Lego all over the place and it's crazy fun. I agree with a lot of her statements and we have thoroughly planned for a future "Lego room" and are still looking at how we actually want to organize it all. We have also already discussed that our honeymoon will be at least partially in Denmark. Crazy, yes.. but again, incredibly fun.

I never played with Lego as a kid. I'm 26 and new to the Lego world. I believe I got my first set when I was 22 and it was an impulse. The first set I actually went out and bought was when I was 24 and I felt like everyone was looking at me. Now I proudly walk in and buy my Lego! Anyway, I get looks from people sometimes and I giggle. The people who check me out at the store ask me if I have a kid and they comment on how happy he will be with his new Lego. I just look at them and say "No, these are for me." I just have fun with it as an adult. Stop obsessing and let it go. If he was an AFOL, I'm sure he's gotten the reaction before. No big deal. I think most adults who play with Lego (I am generalizing here) have a pretty good sense of humor. :laugh:

I finally bought the skeleton tower set yesterday (after castle month of course). I am going to pick up my paradisa sets from the post office tomorrow.. one has a pony.. A PONY! I am really excited about the pony. :laugh: There are 3 paradisa sets total.

My sigfig is ready for summer.

I really love M*A*S*H and I love this idea! It looks good to me. Very cool idea. I hope that you make some other characters from M*A*S*H in the future and maybe a MOC too.. I would love to see that.

I have the same thing going on. I have gotten some good deals on ebay and usually I check it about every couple of days. I just got in 6 pirate minifigs , a monkey, and some weapons last week and I believe I paid about 5 USD for them plus a reasonable shipping rate from a seller on ebay. Like Phes and Zen said look at the bottom of the pirates pages for ebay deals. I love that this was added. It helps me tremendously when looking for pirate or paradisa because I forget to check ebay sometimes, but I always read the eb forums.

I know how much work goes into this and I truly appreciate it. I think it looks great and gives an overview of what is going on in Classic-Pirates. I actually didn't receive it because I wasn't subscribed but I just sent my subscribe email and look forward to receiving the next one in my inbox. I have to ditto what Mr. Shadows said.. the editor sure is cute.

She was pretty . I did the decal for me because I was up for a challenge. She is my first fully completed decal that I am happy with . I mean you can think of it as a present from me to you if you want (I am a saint afterall) , but the picture you posted was just an inspiration. I've been kicking around some ideas for a torso like that for a while. I may edit it soon and make something completely different out of it.

In response to sir dano's picture of the quite hot pirate lady , I created this one today. I'm going to post one with a belly button and one without. Thanks to imperialshadows for the cleavage!

*GLARES* I'll take credit. I do think it looks better and the halter tops are incredible (I picked the green one to play with because it is my favorite). When I saw Captain Green Hair's post about the hips being too wide, I thought that there probably had to be a way to improve upon the already great design. Maybe I'll post some actual designs of my own soon rather than just corrections of shadows designs. I really enjoy the idea of designing clothes for Lego.

Yes, I'm a dainty sweet girl. At least someone realizes it. True. Back on topic now! SirNadroj, I can't wait to see it. I mean it's overload for me.. Clickit and Fabuland.. *becomes faint*. I admire all of the fabuland creations and I think the Guild is a very cool thing to incorporate. Special attention needs to be given to Fabuland and those who love it. Maybe a support group would have been a better idea (just kidding of course). I have been looking at some Fabuland figures and sets but I think I'm actually going to hold off on it until after I finish the paradisa mission that I am currently on. It might be interesting to have some Fabuland figures hang out at my paradisa pool party though..

I took this week for vacation so besides actually taking vacation, it is my mission to build up my very own collection. Right now, I'm trying to find some decent deals on sets just to build up spare parts and maybe get a cool set as well. Today I bought: 6163 - The bigger mosaic set 8702 - Knight's Kingdom Lord Vladek 8100 - ExoForce Cyclone Defender Really the only one that thrills me at this point is the mosaic, but the others look like they have some decent parts in them. I also experienced my first lego moment with the "normals" of the world. Cashier: Is this for your son? Me: No. Cashier: Oh, I was going to say.. he is going to be very happy. Me: *laughs* Also, I put together my first Paradisa set (6405-1). I am in love and addicted.

I bought the mosaic set 6162 for half price so I bought several because I'm a bit compulsive and think its a cool set to have. Also have a paradisa set (6405-1 Sunset Stables) on the way and some other paradisa parts. I'm hoping to buy the entire castle collection in the next couple of days. I really like some of the sets and really need the parts to add to my very small collection.

This is my sigfig.. Currently she is dressed for castle month. The clothes will change although I am quite fond of her tough look. Her head and hair will always stay the same.

Yes, I hear the same thing about vista. I bought a new computer about the time that everything was switching over and opted not to upgrade because I had heard such bad things about it. *wacko* Today, I went to work and counseled some addicts and alcoholics (fun stuff). Then, I went to target looking for some small Lego sets that I heard were on sale, but unfortunately found none. :-( Now, I'm just enjoying reading EB and listening to some music. I need to order a couple of sets that I've been wanting so maybe I'll do that later on tonight. I'm also currently in the process of learning MLCAD since I don't have a lot of Lego yet (YET!) so I'm going to work on that a bit too. It's a good life! X-D
