Welcome Sandy! This sounds pretty interesting. I can't wait to see it. I definitely agree that female minifigs should have strong character. Also, I am currently collecting Paradisa (I just put together the arcade and the cabana today) and Pirates mostly. I have acquired a good bit more recently due to my lego addiction becoming more out of control. That would be me.

Could you post the full size versions? These are too tiny for me to give an opinion on. Thanks!

This is an odd thread, but I'll post... I have a BS in Educational Psychology and a MS in Counselor Education/Community Counseling. I graduated with my MS in 2006. Both of my degrees are from Mississippi State University. I am currently finishing my requirements for my LPC which is a private practice license for therapists. I specialize in substance abuse and dual diagnosis (which means chemical dependency and another diagnosis such as depression or other mental illness). I plan to begin a PhD program in the next few years and focus on chemical dependency as well as other compulsive disorders.

I do not have too much of anything. I actually don't have enough of anything. So, I propose a solution. Those pesky parts that are just sitting around irritating you, just message me and I'll take them (for free of course, just to take them off of your hands because I wouldn't want you to get more and more irritated). Anybody got too many ponies, forestwomen, white pigtails, white or green ninja princess? :laugh:

Indiana Jones River Chase. My first indy set!! Also have 2 bricklink orders that I am anxiously waiting on. One has a Hagrid in it and the other has lots of trees. Also, lots of misc. parts in both orders. I'm working on a couple of mocs but I need my orders before they can be completed.

I always joked that our house would have a moat around it with mechanical alligators. Now I can build the house in lego! Thanks SirNadroj for the review and pictures. This is definitely my favorite Agents set.

I believe phred would make a good ambassador for classic pirates because of his enthusiasm for the pirate theme and talented building skills. He has made worthy contributions to the website in keeping up with indices which is something that consumes time and energy and shows his devotion. He is also welcoming to new members and is willing to consider alternative ideas with an open mind. He appears to give appropriate and constructive feedback to peers. These are the qualities of a good leader.

I voted. Phred for impulse class. SlyOwl for small. Tinypiesrus for large. It was a hard decision because all of the entries are incredibly good and I know that a lot of time and effort were put into them (no criticisms from me since I wasn't able to muster up the time and creativity to enter). Thanks! Hm.. I'm confused. He wears a 3 button sports coat and they are all buttoned up oddly enough and you can see three buttons of the shirt. I think that's what you are talking about. I took pictures of Adrian Monk and used them directly. I am pretty perfectionist. I would have texturized the jacket like his is but I thought it would make things a bit too complicated for a tiny little minifig. Perfectionism and Obsessive Compulsive Behaviors ON!

I'm not sure yet. MOCing is my next exploration in Lego. I have some parts on the way and I think I finally have enough to make a decent MOC. Hopefully, I'll have time to spend next week exploring this new found hobby. As far as customization, I'm going to look through the requested thread. I was working on a female pirate with a slope. Long story short, I am no longer working on that project. I am sure I will be creating more soon and hopefully will not be as hesitant about posting (I'm a perfectionist and I get nervous about posting).

I haven't really thought about that part. After exploring options, this hair in black would be the best even though not accurate to the texture, but the hair could be customized with clay. I'm not a big fan of customized clay hair. Honestly, feedback is appreciated on a possibility for good hair. As far as other customs from the Monk series, I may try when I have time (which will be a little while). I enjoy creating the custom decals but some of them are rather time consuming, but again, I'm just learning how to do this.

I think you can using the attachment system, but it's easier and smarter to upload them elsewhere that can provide more space. Brickshelf is just such a place. They have accounts that are free and easy to use. You can register here. Then you just post the image using the "Insert Image" option and the url of the picture.

Thanks! This isn't the first custom I've posted. This is the first topic I have posted. The other one is in the bottom of this thread. He has a good model. Also, with the skirt, I spent a long time working on it and I kept changing it, but I really didn't want to decorate it with anything. I put flowers on it and took them off. I figured it's going to have a wrinkly flowing look. I may decide to change it. It just looked so bleh without the wrinkles. Not yet, but eventually!!!

I thought this would be an interesting project being a fan of Monk myself. I'm pleased with the result.

I have been trying to manipulate my way into going to this event for 6 months, but not going to be able to. Hopefully, I can attend my first Lego event soon enough. Until then, I want to know how much fun this actually is so that I can have more ammunition for next time.

This is a dress decal I've been working on (torso and slope). I was inspired by the horrible wedding dresses for the lovely Lego brides. I want a Lego minifig wedding cake topper (I do realise that minifigs are really small for this purpose but it's going to work) and I want her to be pretty . I hate traditional white dresses so I started out with a candlelight and then it became a light salmon color (she's definitely no virgin in this colour). I see this as a fairly useful decal for town if your town has formal parties often . Also, I'm quite pleased with the neckline and corset style top. The colors can be changed pretty easily.

I'm going to install this and play with it tomorrow. I am currently working on a project and I have been using the colour chart. I think this might be easier for me to use. I'll let you know after I try it and give some more feedback. Normally, I'm the one trying to correct and improve imperialshadows work, but I didn't even think of this. :laugh: (just kidding of course!) Anyway, Thanks for this. I can't wait to try it.

This is George, my cat. He will be 4 years old this year and he is precious. He looks a bit.. well.. dead in the picture, but that is just the way he lays. imperialshadows likes to claim Gracie as his cat. I don't have a picture of her, but I'll take one soon and post it.

Everything you build is always very creative. This is no exception, very cute. The mouth looks like a Minifig Container D-Basket. I have one in Paradisa Sunset Stables.

I just got in a lot of pirates. It was one of those lots that I took a chance on and I think its turning out to be a really good deal. There are 20 minifigs including a redbeard, lots of weapons, a gator, 3 monkeys and 3 birds. Tons of other parts. I'm very excited to get to dig through this. It's going to be an adventure, but I think I'll be able to put together a few sets with it. Also, yesterday I placed my first bricklink order. So soon, I'll be coming home to find 6 fabuland figures and some other misc parts on my doorstep. I can't wait!!
