But, contrary to what lysk is saying, tiles, the smooth pieces, and slopes are not inherently SNOT parts, unless they are attached to other parts in any direction other than up.

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Ricecracker replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I really don't see how making baseless accusations is helping us... Both the King and the Professor are the most suspicious to me. They seem very eager to accuse someone, anyone. The quiet ones also worry me... My dear, relax. You wouldn't want to upset Dr. Dre. Excuse me, I meant to say Mr. Pavlov. -

Believe me, I see no reason to vote for you. Aside from being a motherly figure, I don't see why Havel singled me out as the most trustworthy, though I'll take the support. -

Indeed. It's somewhat disheartening, though perfectly understandable, to see such suspicion among the patients. -

It is somewhat region based. I know in the past I've been declined because they had received enough survey information from my country at that time. It is a simple internet survey asking you questions about the set, LEGO, and other related topics.

Putting windows on a mac?
Ricecracker replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Culture & Multimedia
If you're just running Windows on it, you might want to see how much you could sell it for, and then use that money towards a new PC. Here's Apple's guide to using Boot Camp. Another alternative you could try is Wine. -

I've taken a break from LEGO forum games, but I think I'm ready to try another. Here are my answers to the psychological test: 1. Someone being chained to a wall. 2. An angered face. 3. Yosemite Sam 4. A snake going in to bite someone. 5. A Koala Bear. -
Absolutely amazing MOC, Колпак! I saw this earlier but didn't have the chance to comment. You can see all the effort you've put into all the details, from the ticket dispensers to the skylight. I really like the all the activity with the minifigs, too. I must agree with Ralph, though, that the one let down is the car. It's a great MOC, and you may've inspired me to build a subway now too .

Thanks for the link, Jeff, and congratulations on becoming an Ambassador.

Why Can't I View Member Profiles?
Ricecracker replied to Gioppa's topic in Forum Information and Help
The first issue is to prevent spam users. A number of features are disabled to members who have not yet reached a post count of 10, including profile views and Private Messaging. The second issue is not really an issue at all. The different bricks are the "Read States" of the thread. A 1x1 blue brick means its a generic topic, 1x1 red means its a hot topic (14+ replies), and a 1x1 purple brick means that there is a poll included in the topic. Any brick with the hole in it (a 1x1 Technic brick) means that it is a topic that you've posted in. You've posted in any topic you start, which is why this one has a 1x1 Technic brick.- 188 replies

Two weeks ago, TRU had a 20% off City sale, and they had the Police sets in stock.

Sorry, I'd like to get them all at once. I don't need those. I need them before January, so I'm not sure that'd work.

In terms of LEGO, there were two Duplo play areas, a small LEGO club area with free magazines and a contest, a pickup truck filled with Duplo sets and LEGO Certified Professional Robin Sather and I built a 5-ft long Duplo model of a fire truck. They also filmed the 6 o'clock Global newscast live there, had three choirs sing and perform, had some reindeer and had free food if you donated a Duplo set worth more than $10. All in all it was a great evening.

Hey everyone. I'm starting my new trade topic here so that whenever I have anything I need or want to trade, I can have one place for it. Right now, I need the following: NEED by Ricecracker., on Flickr I need about 1100-1200 of these in Trans Light-Blue, the colour in which they are so common at PaB. Apparently that is about how many fit into a small PaB cup. Please help me out here. No trades; payment will be made via Paypal. Picture from Bricklink.com Thank you, -Isaac

So did anyone else end up making it out to the FireFighter Toy Drive event on Thursday?
