Vacation in Virginia Beach! I was expecting sun, water, fun... Well, it rained. With nothing to do, I wandered aimlesslly into a Wal-Mart and was astounded to find a large display-- both January indy sets and, bright and shiny, Jungle Duel, The River Chase one, and the spinning blades one (Sorry about the names, will fix when I get home.) Thinking I would be one of the first Americans to purchase one, I grab the Jungle Duel and Blade Chopper one. I get to the self-checkout, ring it up, and see... what? RECALL? Yeah, that's what it said on the screen. The manager came over (I think he got somkind of notice when that popped up on the screen.) After trying to bargain with him, he ended up taking them away from me. I highly doubt these are being sent back to TLC like Lesovikk, I think that probably someone just put out the sets be accident and that they are planning to put them back in the back room . Still, it really got my hopes up. I might try again tomorrow, but if you are near Virginia Beach you may want to try sometime-- the sets are there! Not sure how interesting this may be to all of you, but just thought that some people may want to know. That's all! <Faramir-< Oh, there were a couple of Speed Racer sets too. They were in the section with the rest of the Legos, unlike the Indy. I'm unsure what would happen if you tried to buy those...

Can't wait to get this one (ANTS!!!) I don't have a tent either, so that'll be a great pickup. I'm surprised, though, that it includes the gold Exo-Force sword. I didn't expect this to come in any other sets besides the tower. <Faramir-<

Haha! Commies This set really looks great. I really see what you were saying about the whole retro thing. Reminds me a bit of a Dino Island set, myself. Except without the dinosaurs. Always without the dinosaurs... This is a must get, does anyone know when these will be released in the US? <Faramir-<

Even though I was never in a position in which I could buy Indian sets, I agree with Athos. Looking at the sets, there isn't really that much going on. It must have been hard for TLC to design the sets, as they would get complaints if they made too many sets with them fighting the cowboys or had them sitting around smoking peace pipes . The pieces look good though, as you never see black bows or quivers around today. I wish I had bought some, but, if I had, I probably would have only bought one or two. <Faramir-<

You mean that you trimmed them back so that you can't see them? If so, that's a pretty good idea. The only problem is that it looks a lot like the SigFig I'm constructing... <Faramir-<

Maybe I could try that... As great as it was the first three years, I had to vote to kill it. Back then, it was all a mystery-- we didn't know what to expect. Who would be new? What challenges would they face? Now, the story line is almost dictated be release dates. We know that there will be six guys in the beginning of the year, waiting around for Lego to give them something to fight, which will not happen until summer. We know that there will be three titans. We know that they will no longer use their minds and elements, but guns, armor, and lines that sound like were stolen off fortune cookies. I say they should have killed it after 2005, or at least have kept up with making surprises for us. <Faramir-<

If they are only the Indy sets and that fig with sharp corners, then I'd have to guess that they are using a different mould for the newer figs. Or maybe even that older fig's corners just got rubbed down from the years. <Faramir P.S. I agree with DarthPerson, just resize it down a little bit.
