Wait, I'm confused. You want us to give you tips on how to improve building, and you show us a set? If you're talking about photograpy, maybe you should get better lighting, your photos are a little bit dark.

Historic Computer Series: Macintosh Classic
Squeaker replied to Shadows's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ahh, I remember my Mac Classic. I always played GliderPro on it . Good times, good times. Thanks for bringing back memories. I remember my mom, my dad and I hogged each other to play games(they played columns, and they were damn competitive! ) Thanks, and a great decal. Old-school Macintosh ON! (yay first time! ) EDIT:CP5670, I don't think those games are on the Mac Classic. We're talking about the black and white display here (I think, I was only five or so), but I do remember playing Crystal Quest on a newer Mac we had. -
But the queation remains - where did he get the head? Did he steal it from a toy fair?

Custom Printed Fabric Elements
Squeaker replied to Lamanda2's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I bet you could make a killing off of sails (if the cloth you're printing on is big enough, it should be if it's standard.)... -
Chuck, I wouldn't plan on getting it cheap. The chrome gold C-3PO was limited to 500 units, and, being one minifig, now sells on BL at the lowest price for $120. A full set only availible at one location, with only 500 units and probably not too much time before thyey're gone, I'd guess it would be really expensive on BL. Good luck though! I've been thinking of a trip to LEGOLAND, which is really close to San Diego. Maybe I'll "coincidentally" go in July!

Nice! Amazing achitechture, and an interesting subject at that. I have idea for the window gap: Use one of these and try to jam it in the gap... It is 4 wide, right? If it works, you're welcome . I think you do need to change those columns though.

Some students visit Legaña's (modern day) Indian population
Squeaker replied to Basiliscus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Very good diorama! I like the Indian (shoudn't it be native? I though Legaña was a South American country) headresses. Jar Jar Binx headresses! Finnaly a use for the most hated Star Wars character. Are those all HP hair? -
Nice! I've always loved birds of prey, and I am lucky to have a raptor center nearby my town! No, not raptors like the ones in Jurasic Park(although that would be awesome). Anyway, they take in birds with wing injuries, sicknesses or owner abuse and rehabilitate them back into their normal state (or as close as they can to a normal state), while schoolkids, scholars from the nearby (partially veteranary) univesity or the interested public can observe them. It's quite nice! I had no idea that Mongolians were so expierienced in raptors. I don't know what it is, but your vig seems to have an eerie almost lifelike essence about it. Why, I'm unsure. Anyway, I also tried to design a bird of prey, a vulture to be exact, but it turned out to be a little bit big (for minifig scale);you can find it here. Edit:oops, I meant a scavenger, sorry... So into my paragraph about falcons

This is quite a good idea! I hope to see a return in minifig packs, they are an element vital to children's system of play. I son't think battle packs tottaly satisy this need because there are no civilians or non-conflict themes, maybe this can be a solution. I have a feeling this will be a Christmas special because of the small LEGO logo and odd text. Another interesting thing to think about is the quality of the gold print... Will it scatch off easily of will it be relitively durable? Yay! TLC finally got a clue about what minifigs we want !

Agents Mission 3: Gold Hunt - set #8630
Squeaker replied to Deinonychus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
How much was it, and does the suspension work well? If it doesn't, I've lowering the truck, it looks pretty pathetic. -
LEGO AGENTS - Mission 1: Jetpack Pursuit
Squeaker replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I have two requests: 1. Can you take some pictures of the new arm from the inside (remove it) and from the side(of the minifig)? thanks, that would be helpful. 2. Can you try to put a flex tube in the hole and put a minifig hand in the tube? You'd have to cut the tube, but if it works, you'd be a hero! two-and-a-half... if this works, both arms on a tosro with silver castle armour? Please? You're so lucky to get these! -
legoland pick-a-bricks prices?
Squeaker replied to Pate-keetongu's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Big pool of PAB? Are there any pics of this? I love PAB but only get to go maybe once or twice a year (spoiled, spoiled me ) Garbage bags full of LEGO? *twitch**twitch* -
Err... It's not made of LEGO it's made of metal

Well my father and I own metalworking equipment (forge, swage block, and anvil, etc.), and the process basically went like this: -Flatten nail on anvil -Grind of exess with grinder -slide on washer -hammer washer flat again on anvil -shape to the desired look -wrap handle with thread and paint on adhesive But to answer your question simply, it is held on with friction. You know, I could make a custom for someone if they want a certain shape (ie scimitar) if it is not too intricate and they suply an image.

Whoah Michael! I hardly meant it that way! I'm sorry... It's just I whipped up that torso/head combination and couple days later I saw your toddlers and thought that you had seen my kid and used the idea when you got a post on TBB... I was wrong. And I said used, not stole. I wasn't really being as serious as you took me to be... Please don't let this make us have sour thoughts of each other. I like your creations, and you are a great builder, but you took my post a little bit seriously. And please don't go so hard on me, I'm very new to the whole online LEGO community and am still getting used to customs and traditions. Once again, I'm sorry.
-
I did that on purpose, as it is custom and is a castle object... I thought that was okay, sorry if it's not.
-
I made it from a nail and a washer... I might be willing to sell it, if anyone is interested.

The prices have to be exactly the same. Otherwise it's a crime, obviously. Sorry. Not so farmilliar with self check-out "scales". I wonder how some got their hands on them...? By the way, I am an honest person but... why would that be illegal if they are the exact same price? Would the said store be fined for selling early?
