I think the Creator sets are best for this kind of thing.

You've attached the front bumper assembly upside-down! Just letting you know. Thanks for putting this up, I'm using it to plan my modified Unimog for when I get home for spring break

Looks great!

Yeah. I had always thought he was Duplo. So are the hands just the same piece as the arms? That'd be a shame. I guess brick built hands will be more fun though Thanks.
-
Does anyone have a Duplo Mickey or Minnie Mouse figure? If so, I'd like to know if the hands are removable, and, if so, what the connection is. I plan to build the robot from Wallace and Gromit, and the hands would be perfect

I'd use a or a kepi or a modified shako.

I went to an Comic/Indy convention today in Sacramento. At one of the many comic booths I met Chris Perguidi. I had a discussion with him and picked up a flyer for his TV show. I scanned through a short paragraph and my eyes popped when I read "Zack the Lego maniac." I laughed and told Chris I'd have to tell my friends online (here I am!). It was a great suprise meeting him, and I was laughing for a while... The chances! Anyway, Chris' show (along with Erika) is on YouTube if you want to check it out. The Lizard Zone (or The Chris and Erika Show) (That's Chris on the left) and the Zack the LEGO maniac commercial from the 80's that Chris played (along with a second):

Yes please. A vote from me. How about a combo disc (PC/MAC)?

Oh I like the Army Men set. Four soldiers and a jeep for $15 hopefully. The Giants... Buzz is cool I hope his dome is useable. And Zurg, everyone, does NOT have that much purple. He has about 8 purple quarter-cylinders, a dish, a few slopes, maybe a couple of bricks, and a propietary head. Just because there is a ton of purple visible doesn't mean it's full of purple.

Actually, the one Jamie is wearing in this custom is a forage cap! They were worn durring the civil war and are kind of similar to a collapsed shako. Also, that keychain is expensive because it is very old and was a LEGOLAND ambassador exclusive. I don't understand how people thing that looks like a beret, berets are more flat. If you painted it white, it might look like a factory hat. (or for those of you on the west coast, an In-n-Out hat! mmmmm... ) Anyway, great customs, I think you should make a sculptey beret, namely because it is the most easily scuptable I can think of. The dynamite and wrench are perfect! They represent the show quite well .

Those are pretty good, I am surprised they balance. Anyway, do have XBL? What's you Gamertag? I'd like to play some games. Do you like forging?

Cheap plastic sunglasses like these are actually popular at clubs and et cetera... The studs aren't so noticable, but the lens color is nasty! I could imagine putting some simple 2x2 printed tiles on the sides. It wouldn't be that hiddeous.

NXT HELP!
Squeaker replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I don't have NXT, but it sounds like you need to add a "repeat" command so it starts roving forward again after it has turned 190°. -
These are great! The only flaw I can find is that the windshield/window bars are too bulky. Technic flex tubes work great for those. I really like the bumper for some reason even though it is really simplistic. Good job.

Actually, baseplates aren't molded at all. A very long sheet of plastic is heated up and then in pressed with studs on both sides. Also, TLC doesn't charge only for piece count, it obviously has to charge for it's raw material, therefore a very large piece will cost more dude to the large about of plastic. Just fork out the money. You'll not going to need more than one anyway unless you keep your models together or are building something huge. In the mean time, it would be really cool if TLC tried to see if they could, using new technology, make a baseplate into a huge plate with stud recepticles on the bottom. Imagine the possiblilities!

I was thinking of getting this, but I thought it was $10 USD. $15 is in Austrailian, right? Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first non-licenced yellow minifig with blonde (tan) hair. TLC avoided it before because hair being lighter than skin looked odd to them. I too hate that shirt. It's been around for far too long and noone wears that type of shirt anyway.

Well, there goes the neighborhood. I have zero period at school so I go before most other kids, but I told all the kids in my class to start laughing hysterically at 8:05. Our teacher had a priceless look on her face and started asking what we were laughing about. Some kids couldn't get enough of it and I'm pretty sure it happened at least once to every teacher in the school, in variations of clapping, crying, etc. WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?

recommendation on gloss finish spray
Squeaker replied to diabloiij's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ussually non-spray enamel works best. If you just need a little bit, clear nail polish is a great solution. -
Isn't this a 'skullcap'? Anyway, I googled his name, VERY good face for him. Sorry for my incompetence, but what is DiscWorld?

Custom Jack Sparrow
Squeaker replied to General Armendariz's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Good solution for the hair! Intead of taping the yarn on, it may be more befitting to place it under his hat and use the very small gap between the hat and head to hold in the hair. Tape makes him looks like he has a bald spot! -
Can't everyone? He says that exact thing in the thread desciption, so why would it offend him? Anyway, this looks like a great minifig for a captain of the new imperials. Good mix of old and newer parts.

New Space Police pictures have been found by who else but whung. I know Eurobricks is a bit touchy on this subject so I just included a link. If this vilolates any rules, delete away! I like the Space Police's dark bley suits, and the aliens look fantastic. The sets look pretty solid compared to Mars Mission, which is a very good thing! Never mind.

Thanks. In my defence, though, children do have larger head and a high center of gravity-that's why they fall over a lot.

So are you ever going to PM me back about Yoda? I was wondering if you had the proppeler from those two agents sets, remember?
