  1. yes it is, i have two of them, but one of them is not working.
  2. Time for another truck. this time a volvo f88: sorry for quality, but it is winter in denmark, and only a few hours of daylight, and those i have to spend in scool. more pics of the model here. this will be rebuild into a three way tipper truck with crane and lowloader for a volvo LM loader, later this week. Efferman made two cranes some time ago (i used the small one on my equipment truck in the start of this thread) but where are they now, i cant find them anywhere anymore?
  3. i saw this live in skaerbaek this year, it is perfect. do you have some detailed pics of the fifth wheel, i need it for my WIP MOC.
  4. since i posted this, it has been shortened 7 studst, to make it look more realistic.
  5. In this week i am going to work with the towingcompany who owns the real Iveco and MAN truck, so here are pics of the Iveco with the real machine: (my model is the little yellow dot in the bottom of the picture ) tommorow i have pics with the MAN flatbed and the original.
  6. make the distance between the wheels 2 studs longer
  7. on the real thing, the distance is about the same as a wheel. on your model, yu cant fit a wheel between them. maybe just two studs?
  8. the one you shows does not. the two alasdair shows does.
  9. If anyone made a crane or something else for trucks, post it here so it is easier to find. i will start with a tailgate lift. (wich i have never seen before in LEGO) lift.zip it moves a bit fast with m-motors, but this prototype still lifts 200 grams.
  10. why two stage legs? i cant come up with something in real life with two stage legs. i used a pneumatic cylinder and a gear rack on my mobile crane.
  11. Maybe remove the unimog chassis from my iveco and use the crawler chassis instead.
  12. nice truck white is possible, but expensive. purple is impossible, and i am not sure about grey, but the rest is easy
  13. No, you cant write the unwritten rules, but i have my own: 1: i only cut the different types of tube. 2: i use unofficial string and zip-ties to keep wires and pneumatic hose in place. 3: never cut or glue parts, i find another solution. ofcourse the can all be broken if i really need to, but i have only cut one part in my entire life. i cut a single 2L axle in half, because there was only room enough for a 1L axle.
  14. thanks no i dont want a crane, i am going to show it to the company who owns the real one, so i want it to look as close as possible. at that time i will take some pics with the model and the real truck.
  15. Now it is time for another tow truck, a MAN LE 12-220 flatbed: It is fully remote controlled, exept the winch and the doors: a video says more than a million pics: the truck is made from these two pics only: link link more pics here. comments welcome
  16. The iveco is finished: The original: the main winch is driven by a xl motor with two gears ispired by Sariels heavy duty 2 speed gearbox. more pics of the original here. i just rougly translated the text from the site to english: Dansk Autohjælp in Nørresundby got a custom made iveco, wich is the only one in Denmark with this equipment. It is a Iveco 150e28 4x4 with a 15 tons winch on the back and a 6 tons both front and back. The boom on the back can lift 2600 kg, wich is more than normal, and the claws is 30 cm longer than normal. more pictures of the model here. a video says more than a million pics:
  17. here it is, wich side is the best? personally i like this side:
  18. i dont like this design, but i need someone else' opinion on it, so please be honest and tell me what i have done wrong. here is the original.
  19. you have to remove "sørme" in post nr. 3 btw good to have you here.
