Another little gem for your series. Love the commentary, too. Toilet humor NEVER gets old. Being that it's next to the mill, there's a corn joke in there somewhere.

This is one of the first sets I ever bought, too. Still have it, a perfect set, imo.

Well, I always found the snot style interesting. This MOC in particular is very nice and clean. However, it looks like you might have a hard time getting the wings to stay together at the front, where the two colors come together. Is there a way to make it more sturdy? Anyway, I can appreciate the work that went into this, I know how hard it is.

This scene always reminds me of, "Why do they call it Hoth? They should call it Coldth!"

I also think the contrast between the natural folige and the sleek base really puts this one over the top.

Disney makes relativley good movies, especially recently. I don't think they would risk screwing up a huge franchise like Star Wars. Disney has a good marketing team and will find out what the fans really want, (no more Jar Jar type characters please, Disney.) Yes the fans' opinion does count because that's the demographic spending the most money on the franchise. Compared to crap like Ep 1, you know Disney could do it better with their eyes closed.

This is one of the sad scenes for sure.

Love your building techniques, especially on the furniture and appliances. Lots of attention to detail here, without being too cuttered. This is just fantastic!

Last week I got the Sith Fury class interceptor at eighteen dollars off. Just this morning I picked up two more 2011 clone BPs at retail, unfortunatley. Those guys are getting harder to find now.

Man, these are sweet. Like a squadron of custom awesomeness. What about custom OT fighters to match the old-school Jedi styles. That would be so boss.

Nice job. For a first try with the lava, I think it looks prettty good. I was wondering where you got the Star Wars styled "basic" type text you put on the photos. I like it because it's much easier to read than actual canon "basic". I mean not only SW geeks can read it, but it still looks Star Warsish. Thanks.

Someone mentioned earlier, they would Bricklink the clones from the new bp. I thought, no that's probably not going to be an option, really, and here's why; The clone bp only has two minifigs, one of wich is probably going to be more desirable than the other. So, for about thirteen dollars, you can buy two clones and some crap. Can somebody resell the figs at enough markup to offset the initial thirteen dollar investment? I think not, so will any of these guys be available on th aftermarket? Possibly, but expect to pay darn close to the cost of a new set for them alone. One might just be better off stocking up on the bp's at clearance sales and markdowns when you can afford to flip the droidekas and crap pieces by the pound to break even. Just my two cents on those.

This is really nice, I like the depth perception and the somewhat muted colors seem to convey the emotion in that scene. Great interpretation with only LEGO for the medium. I love this.

I would pick the UCS Star Destroyer, just for it's awsome modding potential. I would add tiny lights all over it. What a perfect model that could be.

Great review, I'm going to wait for another year when it's on clearance with the other expensive summer '12 sets. Oh, well. It does look cool though, and the figs are too nice.

Great review, man! Even though I really liked reading this, I will probably skip this set, it's just not my style. I would like to get my hands on those clear bubble parts though. I'd use them to build some Daryl Starbird / Ed roth type wild 1960's style kustom cars with acrylic domes.
