  1. I'm starting late into the Kingdoms theme because my significant other has shown an interest in them. We can finally enjoy Lego together. The only set that I cant find from the 2010 releases is the 7946 King's Castle. Amazon has them for $150++, sold out at TRU, S@H, Target, etc. However, they're still available on ebay for about $100 and $30ish shipping. So, I'm thinking that with the Joust just release, the 7946 Castle is for sure discontinued? It's now or never unless I want to pay big bucks down the road?
  2. Gonna pick this up for my wife once it's readily available. Looking forward to some box art and instructions to get a better feel for the set. I think it will go great with the recently discontinued castle.
  3. Just 1....and it's motorized, I'm more focused on the Maersk train and getting stuff for my layout at the moment. I went wayyyy over my lego budget this year and the holiday deal season still isnt over yet.
  4. I was temped to pick up another EN, but decided against it. Every time I buy a set for investment/trade, I just keep it for myself.
  5. below a 100 now, but no change in price.
  6. yea, 177 now. Dropping like flies. Wonder if they automatically go on sale even more when stock drops below 100 units....
  7. Just curious if any of you are planning to buy any Lego for your "significant other" for Christmas. Personally, I picked up Medieval market Village and Mill Village Raid for my wife. Although she supports my Lego addiction, she's not really into my current themes. However, when she was younger, she had alot of sets from the Castle series. (sold off in yard sales long ago) When we visited the Lego store in Toronto, she was really interested in MMV and MVR, so I decided to pick them up. Typically, I buy her a poly bag stocking stuffer as a joke, but this year I'm going all out! I hope they continue to release sets like this so we can share this hobby together
  8. I'm also a scuba diver and since I've moved away from the west coast last year, my dive season is pretty much limited to summer months nowadays. Where I live currently is pretty cold in the winter, so I spend alot of time indoors. Lego is a great way to spend my free time. Current temperature here is -10 degrees Celsius (14 Fahrenheit) and that's considered "warm" for this time of year. Not looking forward to sunny and -30.....
  9. if anyone cares, there's only 179 ENs left on Amazon.com. Seems that they're selling about 100 per day, so if you haven't picked one up yet, this might be your last chance before having to resort to BL and eBay. update, it seems they're selling about 1 per minute, Amazon is going to be sold out very soon.....
  10. Yup, Amazon now down to 378.....starting to sell abit faster.
  11. 440 left on Amazon.com
  12. hmm, wondering if they'll go on a last kick sale to clear out the remaining stock.
  13. love the windows
  14. Yea, I got mine on the TRU BYGO 50% off, then bought some loose container cars off of ebay. Tempted to buy some more....
  15. That would be awesome
  16. Interesting. I guess we'll have to wait and see what Lego does. Does anyone else find it strange that they released a second starter cargo train (Red) one year after the release of the yellow one?
  17. considering people out there will pay $400+ for Green Grocer and insane amounts for Cafe Corner, I'm sure a $200 set will sell
  18. Yea, I'm hoping for the Atlantis columns too. I thought the deal with the modular line was that they had to be made with parts from sets currently in production?
  19. Hard to say for sure, but I'm thinking that the Red Cargo Train is a Toys R Us & Lego limited edition exclusive. I wouldn't be surprised if TRU requested the Red Cargo Train as it has a more recognizable loco style (diesel) than the one in the Yellow Cargo Train set (electric). Just a guess....
  20. 2766 piece Town Hall would be delicious! Lets hope the info is correct.
  21. Good choice on the emerald, it was my second train I picked up. Now get some PF and track !!!
  22. That's a pretty good deal. I'm not a POTC fan and have none of the sets, but I'd probably cave if I came across this deal in store.
  23. Hey "OWL" any update on your first Lego train purchase?
  24. I'm a big fan of the Maersk train, but for me, the Santa Fe series is probably the best train "ever made". I really hope they re-do it as a PF train in the future since I missed it....
  25. Great work, certainly something you don't see in a layout very often!
