Ruby does not effect vermin. Well it does, but not especially. Think of it this way: Say you are a mage, and you got hired by some lady to clear her basement from vermin, what spells would you use? Not fire, that seems like a terrible idea, you might burn her house down. Ice or wind however, perfect. The wind may even blow away the dust that tends to gather in basements, and Ice has the added effect of keeping the food storages cool. Bonus points! It makes sense.

Where do you get the 9 and the TWO 4's from? The furthest I can come is then 192, x 3, = 576 minus any hoods.

I don't actually use any BB code for battles, or in general, really. Other than the img thingy, of course. I usually quote the last post, and then make changes... It seems to be the easiest way to do stuff.

Rumble, I think something went wrong with the battle, the enemies. Also, Gold Reaper does not do damage.

Guts gets up after he feels like his heart just got kickstarted. He gives a small appreciative nod to Maurice, before jumping up, grabbing Lifestealer from the ground, and in the same motion taking a small vial from his belt and downing it. A moment later, Guts stands before Corlo, and quickly drives Lifestealer in the man's stomach. As the life drains out of the man, Guts says: "Guess who you just pissed off?" The Raider cruelly twists his blade, before pulling it out, leaving the man to fall over. He was dead before he hit the ground. Guts turned to the other enemies, a fire burning in his eyes. He made a slashing motion with lifestealer, wiping away most of the blood on it. The rest seemed to disappear quickly, as absorbed by the weapon itself. Guts cracked his neck, and said to the enemies still standing: "Start running." Guts quickly downed a Nostrum, and made his way to Floodgate to attack, with Lifestealer. Sandy actually answered this a while back, effects work in the same round. See Quest 40, Atramor made some enemies fragile there as well.
