  1. "I could have sworn it wasn't such a long walk to the Prison. This map must be faulty. Knew we couldn't trust the blue guy."
  2. I like to think that I know what I am doing when creating items, although when rules get changed or clarified... Yeah. When I'm creating items in the future, I will run by you, Sandy. I bought the one off Hybros, yeah. You're so bribing people so they sign up for your quests.
  3. And pets and that sort of thing. And yes, more mithril shards would be good. Guts has 3/4. Xarzann has one, but he hasn't been around (and I don't think he wanted to trade it). Docken has one but we all know how he feels about Mithril (although maybe he thinks differently now that adamantite is a thing?). Who else has one?
  4. Guts gives the Ruby he still has to Nagure, and gives 31 gold each to Nerwen, Mizuki, Sorrow and Maurice. He then starts walking towards the prison, signalling the party to follow him. While walking, Guts consumes a Nostrum, Smelling Salts and Mead.
  5. A small letter, in neat handwriting fell down. Written was the following: To Hybros, both the shortest, but quite possibly the bravest of Heroica's heroes, I wish a Diamond. Perhaps it's Light will help him in his struggle to find out more about his origins, shrouded in darkness. and help him light up the strange world he was so suddenly thrown into. To the Paladin Maurice, I wish an Armband of Detect Traps - Automatically warns the wearer of any traps or protective spells, whenever the wearer is about to set them off ,for while his intentions are pure, he could use some help not of the divine kind. To the elf Nerwen, I wish a Magic Spyglass - Allows the wearer to see through any illusions, and let's you see how things really are. I hope it will continue to help her see clearly, and help her see that the actions of a certain rogue aren't always meant the way they seem. To the self-proclaimed King from a kingdom no one has heard of, "Lord" Lawrence Boomingham, I wish a bottle of fine Metasimian Ale. Perhaps the old coot can appreciate the exclusivity and the slight danger to drinking such a beverage. Or it could affect his mind, perhaps ridding him from the illusions he seems to believe in himself. To the gentleman-barbarian, Tarn Valco, I wish a suit of Strivvian Darksteel Armour - SP: 6, + 3 Health. Where I'm from, Darksteel armour is reserved for the best and most honorable warriors, the metal itself priceless, and unable to be retrieved from molten down weapons. Valco is without a doubt the warrior with the greatest heart in Heroica's Hall. A heart that is worth being protected by the best armour. Signed, von Hellsong.
  6. "Hmpf. We are outgunned, I hate to say it, but the six of us aren't going to cut it. I suggest we go look for Hlin and the others. From what I've heard he is a capable fighter, and Laxidaxi ran a shop, she might be able to supply us." With that in mind, Guts took out his magic compass.
  7. No problems, I'll try to remember! Guts does his action from the front row.
  8. "Aye, good thinking." Battle order: Nerwen Guts Mizuki Sorrow Nagure Guts attacks the barrier twice with his Hollow Dagger.
  9. "If we stick around, we might very well all end up in her rotten grasp, we will have to come back for him. If you have a plan, I suggest you spit it out, otherwise, start running."
  10. Guts looked around, and what he saw wasn't good. The bulk of the enemies could not be hurt by his weapon, the only other usable weapon burried in the skull of one of the enemies. Under his breath, Guts muttered: "Bitch." He had no choice, he had to make the call. "We have to fall back, if we continue the assault, we will get overrun. Nagure, use your smoke bomb."
  11. This battle and the second guard battle were basically impossible. I did not say anything about it last battle because I figured you´d not want us to even be able to win that battle, which I think is a bad game mechanic, battles should at least have a decent chance to be won. Even if we would never roll damage or special damage that battle was basically impossible due to the hastened and lucky enemies. This, same story. It´s way harder than what groups of level 20 plus groups are fighting. I don´t mean to criticize negatively, but these battles are not balanced. The first battle was very inventive and cool, with a real challenge and something different as well. These last two are just stupidly hard. Almost all the specials mean basically game over. If we don´t want to risk failing the quest, we will have to pull back again.
  12. Rumble, what´s with the impossible battles?
  13. Shame. They are making a set based on a movie franchise that had it's last installment 22 years ago, but they aren't making something a lot of people could actually enjoy without liking the movie. Don't get me wrong, I have got nothing against the BTTF movies, but this apparantly fits in Lego's demographic? Come on. I get it, the Western Town would conflict with the Lone Ranger sets that are planned... Cuusoo is just dumb, that's what I have decided. Good ideas for actual good sets, that get a lot of support from the AFOL community, get shot down, while terrible ideas for sets that just get the support of a random community are going to be turned into a set. Newsflash, I can guarantee you most of the people (which aren't AFOL's or other people active in the Lego community), don't even remember voting for this and are certainly not going to buy the set when it comes out. Sure, die-hard fans of the series and a large number of AFOL's will get this set, but to me it's a damn shame that this made it, and not great ideas for sets like the Western Town. I was disappointed in Cuusoo when they accepted a Minecraft set and not the Winchester. That probably was a sound business decision, sure, but the reasons they listed for declining the Winchester were clearly not true, and in my opinion the Minecraft set was terrible. With this now, I have decided to just not bother anymore. The AFOL community has very little influence, it seems, which is a shame as I am pretty sure Lego would feel the hit if we all suddenly stopped buying Lego. Cuusoo is subject to all kind of (non-Lego) communities and fanbases. I fear that we don't have to expect decent Lego sets from Cuusoo, just sets that they can use to get the most money out of fans of a certain thing.
  14. The first attack was from the front row. If I don't specify, it's always front row. Guts repeats his attacks, same battle order. And Throwing Weapons aren't thrown on damage or special damage, they are on misses though.
  15. Wow, I won! Very, very cool.
  16. "Nagure. Attack Sorona, not the vortex." Guts attacks the Sisterhood Priestess with Lifestealer, then throws his Throwing Knife at Adept Beahai from the back row. Battle order: Can we use Maurice for free hit absorption? I assume so. Maurice Nagure Sorrow Mizuki Nerwen Guts
  17. Guts paid for 19 weapon upgrades. I'm just saying. Don't take it back. Healing yourself on the front row is basically all a Paladin is good at.
  18. "You're ignorant. Sorona. You think so highly of yourself, but know what? You're just another pathetic misguided magic-user." Guts pulls out his Throwing Knife in his other hand, ready to fight.
  19. I wholeheartedly recommend the whole series.
  20. That's a brilliant idea for a quest concept, Flipz!. The Ace Attorney series are great in my opinion, and I think something like it would actually work in a Heroica quest.
  21. "I have not embraced any role, and I am no slave to Heroica or anyone. I rule myself, Heroica is... relevant to my interests. We´ve met one of Haroka´s inquisitors. She was deformed, weak and pitiful. To speak of turning me into that, is an insult. You broke a promise you made to me, your penalty is death. that´s how it will be. Release the holy man now, and I may grant you a quick death. Before we get to the pleasantries though... I must ask, why give me the tool that will kill you?"
  22. "I only need to take two more things. Sorrow. Your pathetic excuse for a life, and that of Haroka."
  23. "I did see it. This... Sisterhood... I bet it's work of Sorona. Haroka is a dangerous man, but I'd choose a fight with him over one with Sorona any day, be careful." Guts looks around carefully while Maurice picks up the amulet, and unsheaths Lifestealer.
  24. Guts nods.
