  1. I got a hunch about the crew numbers. I am not sure exactly what it means, but both of the ones I know, (thanks by the way), are Lego City sets. Whatever that means.
  2. Remember people! Wait a while after eating before going for a swim, you don't want cramps, I will have to safe you! So I'm just wondering, I got this Crew Number assigned. Mine is 3658. Could I hear some others, please? And I misspelt save there, oh my. More spelling errors... Please don't mind them, I am aware...
  3. Hello guuuuys! It's Lauren, your friendly Lifeguard! If you're drowning, I'm your gal! Or something.
  4. "I was legit. But I don't want to talk about it, not here, not now."
  5. "No, I did not. And it's none of your business." Guts didn't know what a weapons of mass destruction entailed, but nevertheless, he didn't appreciate strangers coming up to him and asking questions about his past.
  6. "I wasn't always a Hero. I once was a very succesful, and influential arms merchant." Guts decided to ignore the insult, the Paladin was drunk.
  7. "You think like a warrior and a nobleman, Lord Boomingham. Perhaps that is the way you did it in your kingdom, but Eubric is more subtle than that. Instead of forcing things with a weapon in hand, you might get more success by applying different kinds of pressure at all the right points."
  8. The raider nodded to the old man. Didn't he purposefully ran into Guts at one point, for whatever reason? Guts wondered how long it'd take before the old man would break his hip while on a quest, before taking a big sip of his wine. To Nerwen, the raider said: "This hall seems to have an attraction for the mentally disturbed. I haven't met anyone as crazy as Dak Shadeaux yet though..." "Because there are rulers out there that aren't complete fools, and can actually get stuff done."
  9. "Hm. I've never heard anyone say that. And I did not say I want to be King of Eubric, I said that perhaps there should be a King of Eubric. Someone competent in ruling. During peace." It was clear to Guts. The paladin was a fool. He was never a king of anything, and if he was, it was no wonder he failed.
  10. No. An artifact that increase bomb prowess would be pretty cool, but keep in mind that throwing a bomb is a totally risk free action. That's why it doesn't count as targetting.
  11. There are, but as you level, the generations come together more. I think Guts is part of the second wave. But that doesn´t mean the generations stick together. Who sticks together is mostly part of who you quest with, and that are often people that are the same level as you are, and therefore often the same generation.
  12. Well you know, if you are having a good life, why would you become a hero?
  13. You might want to be a little more specific than that. I'm pretty sure the Hall is dominated by tough looking men.
  14. Guts had no need for gifts, but he knew the question ran deeper than that. The raider sighed, and said: "Honestly, I am not sure myself." She was joking, but it made the Raider think. With a puzzled expression, the Raider answered: "I'd like to make Eubric a genuine better place. And while these jobs we are doing help, but it's not doing enough. The stalemate between the six houses makes sure nothing ever gets done. Perhaps a real leader is what Eubric needs..."
  15. Guts thought about that answer for a while. He had never been much exposed to nobles, except in Charis. Even though the nobles he had met were often poorer, weaker or generally worse off than himself, they were all too quick to draw on the fact that their father was important in some way. If he was right, a king was just a more important noble, and this one... Well, let's just say he was little like the other noblemen, if that's what he actually was, and he wasn't just lying through his teeth. "Hm... I must admit, I'm not sure what to think of the idea of succession by family. In Strivvi, it happens, but only if the previous viscount was loved. The hope is then that the son - or daughter, takes after their father or mother. But the council of captains always has the last word. To be King, and have your blood rule through Generations... Sounds very dangerous, arrogant even... How does one become king, if your parents were not? Is it possible?" The raider looked at the shining little figure disapprovingly. If that was an Angel, the temple of Ennoc really was in trouble.
  16. Nerwen as a Shaman is very interesting, makes a break from the shirtless men having that profession... Although Kulkulkan was a Shaman too, wasn't he?
  17. Benji's crossbow should deal double damage against that enemy. It's a pretty good combination, I'd say. You should thinking about adding a Garnet, it will make you deal single instead of double against Flying monsters, but it will allow you to deal damage against Fire monsters, and deal double against Icy monsters and Electric Monsters.
  18. Guts looked up at Nerwen, returning to the table. She was different... somehow. More than just her armour was new...
  19. I would actually advise against such a PM, as it may hamper strategizing in thread, and it may also hamper character interaction in thread.
  20. I created a monster...
  21. Guts watches Nerwen's exit, and then just sits opposite of the Paladin for a while. He did not trust his little yellowish companion, but it seemed like the Paladin himself did not either. Eventually, the Raider got up and walked towards the bar. When there, he leaned over, and grabbed a new bottle from under the bar, where Scheherazade kept them. She had not changed the location even though a lot of bottles were disappearing. She must like him, Guts figured. When he sat back down, he poured some in Boomingham's and his cups, then said: "So. What's it like being king?"
  22. Guts saw the little demon in the corner of his eye, standing next to the table, and shook his head. He remarked: "For something that claims not to be from here, and not understanding this place, you have an awful lot of opinions."
  23. 1) No! Healthy as a Seagull. 2) Yes, absolutely. I love to go on voyages in my spare time! 3) Only if they are new and exciting. 4) I need a vacation soon.
