  1. It's all up to the QM of course. If it were me. I'd allow it, after giving a warning, but I'd make it a really hard fight with little reward to win. I think people will not keep doing it, simply because it serves no purpose, and takes a lot of time, without moving the quest along.
  2. Absolutely, but little loot and a slow pace aren't the best way to keep your players happy, just some advice.
  3. Guts smiles at the man: "The ship... or the crew? Heh. Anyway, I must move on, I'd advise you to watch out, and tell me or the other heroes if you notice anything... off. Thank you for the talk." The raider bows his head slightly, then moves up to Madame Ladybug, patiently waiting for her to finish her conversation.
  4. Well, since we have received no rewards so far in 72, and almost no experience either, Avery's ??? Loot is going to be amaaaaazing. That's just common sense. Scrolls, you got it, Artifacts, gold, everything. Or Zepher can be mean. Probably that.
  5. If they're going to speak in a different language, and I can't think of a situation where it would be beneficial to you in a quest (why the QM would allow it, I mean, it's an entirely arbitrary set of skills, don't tie it into rewards.), I much rather read an english text in a different style or color than some language I don't understand.
  6. "I see. Jealousy and greed are a dangerous combination. On to less serious matters, working for the Great Guffington, you must have made a fortune, I'm interested in seeing what ship you sail, three-master, four? And your crew, you must have a full compliment at least? "
  7. "Is anyone? A neccesary evil, they'd tell you, I'm sure." The raider shrugged, then asked: "You know Guffington well, why would someone want to hurt him, and who would it be?"
  8. "Heh, don't worry, I am not after that. I must say I haven't heard of you before, yet with so many offers, I can only assume you are the person that helped Guffington see the world?"
  9. "Hm. I am Captain Guts Holla, of the... El Alligaleon, soon to be renamed. It seems we are in similair boats." Guts frowned at his unintended pun. "If you are not for sale, what is your way of working, exactly?"
  10. "If you want, ask Everstien if he has made sure you can come with on the jump." The raider shrugged, then walked up to Elba. "I don't believe we have met. If I am not mistaken, you are with the Bonapartes? I worked with the family in the past."
  11. The raider held his head in his hand, with the other, he shoo'ed the Marshes off. "Go to your room for now, don't come out until morning, no matter what." Guts sighed, what the hell was he supposed to do with all this? Hell if he knew. The raider does a spotting check to see where Guffington, Felix and Everstien are.
  12. Nope. He just kindly asked Avery to leave.
  13. He means that he finally gets to kill people.
  14. "Right." Guts takes out the note he found in Lady Marsh' nightstand, and gives it to her along with a Neutralizer and another Remedy. "Who is this from? Tell me and your husband and you can go to wherever you want, you have my word."
  15. Guts gives another remedy to Lady Marsh, it couldn't hurt, and then intimidated both of them, the Hinckwell's eyes didn't matter: "Are any of you planning on killing Guffington? If I like the answer, you just might live."
  16. What about photoshopping a glow over certain items (e.g. to make them appear to be lit up), would that be allowed or not? Awesome initiative by the way, I'm definitely trying to participate, and I can't wait for other people's entries.
  17. The raider grabbed Marh's shoulder again, fixing him in place with iron grip. He hated playing this card, but, it wouldn't matter. After the jump, it would have never happened. "You will be doing no such thing. There's no nobility in Eubric, and your brother is only called that de facto, from the position that he's in. You however, are just a sad, fat excuse for a man that no one cares about or has ever heard of, riding on the success of his brother. I however, am Morgan Hellsong. Appointed First Blade by the late Viscount of Strivvi. I don't expect you to know what that means, but right now, for you... It just means that you're going to leave me and the Marshes alone. Got it?"
  18. Just finished building something cool

  19. I like Vampire, the idea of making a class of it. If you work it out further/complete it, I might have a really good way to implement it, if that's something you need/want. I like the Siege Engineer, but except for their job trait, which is really situational by the way, they don't have anything "engineery". I'd also keep Command as something special for Paragon. I'd call them Juggernauts, Defenders, perhaps play with the RPG trope and call them Tanks. An idea for alternative job trait is one that allows the class to use their uncommon vitality and endurance for other tasks, for example, allows them to walk through crashing waterfalls, walk upstream in a raging river, that sort of thing.
  20. Sorry Zepher. Also, I'm pretty sure Nyx was lucky, wasn't she? "Which one is it, afraid of finding out about the past or about the return? This might help." Guts gives a remedy to Lady Marsh.
  21. Guts leads Lord and Lady Marsh out of the kitchen, then locks the door. One of them would have to stay out, It's possible there were others preying on Guffington, all four heroes out of sight would be a prime opperunity to strike. "Everstien, take a look at this glass, it contained a love potion and something else, a sleeping drug, according to Lord Marsh. Double check it. I also need you to get Lady Felix with us on the last jump, I've got her amulet. Also, Guard the door. Lady Felix, if you have any other ideas, I would like you to state them now, now follow me, if you will." The raider walks away with rapid pace, heading towards a quiet corner, one hand firmly on the shoulders of each of the Marshes, effectively pushing them forward. Arrived, he takes a deep breath, and looks in the eyes of Lord Marsh. "Are you absolutely sure the second component is a sleeping drug, or is the dose just a little strong. That wasn't the reaction of a normal, loving wife, Marsh."
  22. Guts waves Felix over.
  23. Artisan is overpowered as all hell. So I'm not comparing things to it. (Pro tip: Make the artisan get a 25% discount in Fabian's and Gnomeo's shops, nowhere else, and it'll keep with the Fashionista theme) I'd advise against that, as it straight up makes upgrading a weapon cheaper if you have a lower WP weapon. That's why I did it that way. But maybe a free weapon upgrade for a lower WP weapon can get thrown in, that'd make more sense?
  24. I really like it and it is something I would try my hand at playing. How about as a third job trait: Weapon Maintenance: Since the Marauder keeps their weapons in peak condition, upgrading two weapons at a time will result in a 50% discount of the upgrade of the weakest of the two weapons. You can probably word that a lot better. I'm tired.
