I'm wondering as well. I kind of would like for a person to lose access to Infiltrator as soon as a hero gains Rep with the Wolfgang. On that note, 40 continuation, soon!

"Aye, that were my thoughts on her as well, if she is aware, she is likely suspicious. I suggest one or two of us go to her chambers right away to see if we can uncover something. She was ready to kill you over a locket, dragon scales and jars of sand, I'd be interested to see what's in the sand. I believe there must be a thief other than her around, someone could have planted the note, and the gold is not suspicious by itself. If we find that thief, that might help. About the chef, I asked him to serve Guffington the Charissian Red I brought with instead of the Spiced Wine, which prompted him to shout some big words mentioning he is some famous poisoner and can't work in conditions like this or something and attack me, I killed him. He summoned some magical mushrooms, as well. You saw the note. Docken, I'd you are the best choice of dealing with him." Guts hands Docken a Nostrum, Smelling Salts and Mead. "By the way, what was up with the spellcaster?"

Silver City Mafia: Day 5 - Unforgiven
Scubacarrot replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
He claimed to me yesterday. Molly was suspicious to me, I did indeed suggest one of Kane, Tristan or her to kill. He didn't want to kill Kane for some reason, by the way. I didn't say it outright because of this: I am a Mason. I was hoping we could recruit Boris as I was recruited, which would effectively give us one more townie and one less person to kill. Yesterday, after voting closed we were told that we can't recruit any independents. Boris claims his winning condition is to be alive when there are only four people left. He claims he wants to help the town because he thinks he has little chance of succeeding, which sounds fairly unbelievable to me. He later also said another way for him to win was to be alive with four people left, then lynching him, he would have fulfilled his winning condition that way. Don't know if that would trigger an automatic loss for us. But whatever. Thing is, we are going to have to lynch Boris. Him killing Molly proves he told the truth to me in private, you are an independant serial Snake Charming killer. Sorry Boris, but.... Vote: Boris (TheBoyWonder). -
Booooo.

"Your battle order sucks. As does your aiming." Guts bites to the imp. He liked the little man, but he was really trying the raider's patience. "Just get this done already."

I'm pretty sure that one point counterstrikes were ruled to not be affected by anything but SP. Or something like that.
-
Guts logically was in the back row and he has 4 SP. Guts spits on the floor, and growls at Madame Ladybug after she hurts Nyx: "Forget it, freak." The raider uses a neutralizer on madame Ladybug (from the back row).

I'm sorry for your loss, Tammo. Take care. -

Guts smirks as he sees what is going on. It was impressive... How things could go wrong in such a short amount of time. Casually, the raider walks up to party. Dryly, he says: "I've always said you had a knack for violence, Hybros... But this... To cause an all out brawl among Eubric's finest, I wouldn't have given you credit for this. I can guess what you did, you... confronted Lord Marsh, he caused a fit. The result... Well, I'm sure you've noticed." The raider waves his hand around. "Lady Felix mentioned she had stuff stolen from her. Sure, she was insane, but why would she lie about it? If something was taken from one room, something else could have been left in another. Well... No matter." The raider pulls the second Amulet out of his pocket. "Hers. Don't know where it fits in in all of this." The raider takes a few more steps forward, and places his hand on Lifestealer. Guts attempts to persuade Madame Ladybug in particular to stop fighting: "This is a misunderstanding, Madame. Lord and Lady Marsh are suspected of planning the murder of Gerald Guffington. I'm sure my... less diplomatic friends gave the wrong impression." It was ridiculous, that he had to be the voice of reason in this situation. "It's a Heroica matter. We'd prefer not to harm you, it'd be appreciated if you stop fighting. I've helped the Guild out in the past, trust me on this one." Guts turned his head to Hybros, he said: "What do you want me to do, if I charge in, my blade may find targets we do not wish to hit, I can support with potions."

Guts pants as he walks around the body. He kicks Lady Felix' head out of anger, letting a growl escape. Why were they always so dumb? Why did they always seem to want get themselves killed? The raider squats down at the body, inspecting the mace, and whatever she yanked at, as well as looking for anything else suspicious or off. In particular Guts looks to see if she has an Eye of the Beholder Amulet, or marks on her neck to suggest she wore one. "Others are in the courtyard. I'm guessing that imp did something stupid, no wonder his last job ended in disaster. They should be here shortly. If not, I'll drag them here myself."

Silver City Mafia: Day 4 - Dances With Wolves
Scubacarrot replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hold up. Do you really think there is a town role cop, a town investigator a neutral serial killer and a town vigilante in play? A vigilante who we have not seen kill by the way. Either Perry, Tristan, or Tristan's role cop is likely lying. A town role cop and a town investigator is impossible. -
I personally don't like the whole banking idea. If you're on a quest like 48 (which aren't the norm by any stretch, but it's possible such a colossus might one day surface once more), at one point, you're going to be stop being able to receive monetary rewards. It's also going to limit the cost of items being sold in quests, (which will lead to less evolution of items, less cool and unique items being specifically sold for high prices), since people will be effectively unable to save up a lot of gold to be able to possibly buy something really unique and cool while on a quest.

Silver City Mafia: Day 4 - Dances With Wolves
Scubacarrot replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I want to restate what I (or better said, Tony) noticed. Tristan entrusted his vote to Kenneth yesterday, yet today he is about 60% sure he is scum... What? This doesn't make any sense. It's a scum slip-up, it has to be! Tristan himself came by at least once and has ignored it and went away without giving an explanation. There is no explanation. He is running to his scum buddies asking what to do and hoping people will brush over it. PLEASE DON'T. PLEASE think about it. -

That's actually a really good observation. I can't think of a good enough excuse for that. Unvote: Boris (theboywonder) Vote: Tristan (Trumpetking) -
Silver City Mafia: Day 4 - Dances With Wolves

Redblade, Purpearljellyblob, TheBoyWonder, TinyPiesRUs) Connie Radford (Clanure) - 7 (Scubacarrot, Adam, Peanuts, CallMePie, mostlytechnic, Bob, PirateDave84) Boris Wheeler (TheBoyWonder) - 2 (jamesn, Kadabra) Michael Thompson (Mencot) - 1 ( fhomess) No vote - 1 (Dannylonglegs) Not really helpful, I'm sorry to say, it'd help if we had a scum, of course. All of the main suspects we have had as a town have turned up town. I'm trying to see who came up with suspects first, as we have had 5 main suspects, but that's going fairly slowly. Apparantly I'm the first accuser of Caleb... As for this whole investigation thing. It sucks to lose our investigator, it's possible she investigated the Godfather and got unlucky (in which case, Perry's supposed to be the godfather), it's also possible she was rolecopped and subsequently killed or the scum were just lucky with that kill, we don't know. I can't grasp Perry's three possible combinations, I don't see it, at all. I'm going to vote for Boris for now, he has been consistantly on the fence, kind of awkward, changing opinions left and right. I'll be honest, I don't have any better suspects... Vote: Boris (TheBoywonder) -
Is it though? If the special is a straight up damage, sure. But if the special conveys extra health, summons allies or inflicts effects, it´s suddenly extremely helpful. In most interesting battles, there is a way for special mirror to shine through, I think. It´s definitely situational, but I think that´s fine. Perhaps some more, different Witch Amulet´s can be sold to keep the Witch´ poison ability to become obsolote, and it´s probably a good idea to make Deadly Poisoned standard and change the Witch Amulet into something more potent (25?) but beyond that, I think the class is fine. It´s also one of my favorite to QM because it´s just so funny to see what could happen.

Guts shook his head. Perhaps... Perhaps he had lost the ability to fight drunk, he was getting pummeled left and right. He spit out some blood, and grabbed another Health Core from his pack, his last one, at least the bitch couldn´t steal this one. The raider takes the Health Core, then attacks once more.

I think you are underestimating the potential power of special mirror,
-
I accept your apology. I appreciate it. Perhaps I´m more prone to thinking and talking about issues if they are relevant to me and my character, I don´t know. But I´m definitely not after securing my place as the strongest character out there. What´d be the fun? This is about the gold making thing in general, not about your item. Your item did got me thinking about the balance of the game, and it did help me reach this conclusion. I understand your reservations, but I stand by my points. I don´t think the game should adapt to the rogues, but the rogues to the game, that´s my view of it, anyway.
-
So was Guts, at one point.
-
And I just brought up the fields to illustrate the consequences of the proposed change, I don't have anything against the fields or people who like it, and I'm ambivalent about using the fields as a source of gold.
-
Meh, that's not what is happening. If I wanted my character to be the strongest one, I would focus on that, and would probably have succeeded, and I would not focus on roleplaying. I'm sorry you feel that way, Jeb and Flare, but you've got the wrong impression. If you have a better suggestion to achieve what I think we should all want, a more balanced game, I'm eager to hear it.
-
Is that such a bad thing, though? I am pretty sure most players play rogue characters or rogue advanced classes. Losing a bit of appeal in favour of the other ones is a positive thing, I think.
