  1. It doesn't count as a magical girl class unless that inquisitor is totally Kawaii. At least, I think that's what Kintobor is looking for.
  2. 3. And Quest 72 actually is mostly roleplaying, the battles and especially the loot are definitely not the main focus points, so I definitely don't think we have lost the roleplaying in quests. Maybe we're less accepting, and in my opinion rightfully so, in making the quest about your own character, but roleplaying is still there! Quest 77 is really exciting for me, and I wish BD would have waited to host it so I could go, Quest 19's concepts were great.
  4. Yeah. Seriously. How will I get that book? Madame Ladybug is Sandy's NPC, are you allowed to kill her off? Maybe. But if I go in, try to kill her, I will win, because I have Neutralizer, the book will disappear on the jump. So... I am just going to ask, and I will also say what Guts currently is doing is boring... And I don't know what to do. Is there another way to get that book, (i.e trickery?) I'd choose to be (the male equivalent of) Daenerys Targaryen every time.
  5. No, fighting an apparition supposed to resemble Ennoc as brought forth by a magical artifact the church of Ennoc believes is a Shard of Ennoc which doesn't actually have a physical presence in the world.
  6. Well, the gods don't really have personalities (I think) as in say the Norse or Greek/Roman Pantheons, but I'd think a natural rivalry or mutual respect and acknowledgement would develop between their followers, definitely. That's when roleplaying wins, I don't need to learn that stuff, because Guts doesn't know that stuff.
  7. Zepher, you did the amulet thing wrong. It just replays the round, no actions are actually changed. If it works the same as the ring of the beholder, that is. (which was only used once in it's brief existence)
  8. Nope, something else...
  9. So... Atramor? (it's a reference to quest 23)
  10. If Quest 72 is completed (succesfully), there will be 3 more mithril shards in play, and I don't think any of us are particuarly interested (JimB's an Assassin, Docken has his, Guts has his, Pandora said she didn't care about them). So if people are looking to acquire them, keep that in mind.
  11. Obviously, the way this works is that the Shadeaux have through their shadowy connections Charis got hold of a limited number (not actually limited) of expensive and rare dragon eggs from Charis' neighbour Dastan. Count Shadeaux, a former Dragoon, and probably acquintance of the Dragonlord has decided to give eggs to the Heroes he trust the most, knowing their value and potential power. When an egg is given to a hero, the hero can then do with it what he or she wishes, heat it, whisper to it, or just crack it open for an instant personality-void dragon. And wouldn't the hatchlings just be this piece? Or something like that size? By the way, can we see a list of Arthur's character arcs/traits whatever you'd call it? No offense, Flipz, but Arthur is a relative of one of the Ziegfrieds, cannibal, chaos fanatic, repentant law enforcer, soon to be dragoon, a lion knight and probably a dozen more other things that each could fill a character in their own right. My advice would be to stick with something, don't try to do too much. It's always iffy when you get ideas that would be really cool to roleplay, but just wouldn't fit your character. What you shouldn't do in such a situation is try and make it fit, but rather save it for something else. Just my opinion.
  12. Woohoo, the first Dragoon has arrived. I think Dragoon is the class that has a lot of potential for a lot of cool roleplaying, cool directions to take. Don't mess it up, is what I'm saying.
  13. Thanks for the feedback Tammo, appreciate it, I definitely agree with what you said, I'm not a very good mafia player, but I'll do my best next time as well! I'd definitely play in another game by you. Very cool playing with everyone and a lot of new players I think.
  14. Yeah, until they turn out to be a japanese rpg boss. Meet my second form, mwahahaha.
  15. Well. Good job scum. Thanks for hosting, Tammo, I had a lot of fun.
  16. It looks very cool, but also very strong. One thing I would definitely change is instead of only taking the items the Artisan has with them into account, make nothing happen if they don't have the item specified by the roll, otherwise an Artisan could carry only a pickaxe or a magic compass and have an oddly strong shield. I really like Bargain, but perhaps you could make it standard, so that you always give up money when damaged, to offset the power of the Shield and the x6 Critical Hit.
  17. Guts holds up the second Amulet, before putting it back in his pocket. "What is going on, Lady Felix."
  18. Guts grinds his teeth. This wasn't how it happened before. Could such small changes have such an impact on how things would go, or was Lady Felix just acting? Still, with a fake smile, the raider took Lady Felix arm. "You said that already, my lady. And yes, Charissian, have you been there lately? Things have quieted down after the Croise signed some document or other. Much less mayhem. Or so I've heard. Is there something with your neck?" The raider said all this, offering his most charming smile. Suddenly. The raider stops. forcing Lady Felix to stop as well. His smile had turned into a cold stare. one of his arms still locked with Lady Felix', the other at Lifestealer, he says slowly: "I did not tell you my first name."
  19. Something felt off. He couldn't place it, but something was definitely off about Felix. At this point, the raider was completely sober again, the hard part now was remembering how things all happened before. Guts rolls his shoulders, and reaches up with his arm to touch his forehead as a greeting, causing the amulet around his neck to show blatantly. He then walked up to Guffington, and handed the man one of the bottles of Charissian Red. He leant in, mumbled a few words of greeting in Guffington's ear, and turned his head to Lady Felix, and bows slightly. "The pleasure is mine. Captain Holla."
  20. The raider smirks as he sees the face of the woman he so gladly killed minutes ago. Forcing a smile, the raider took one of the reappeared bottles of wine from his pack, and waits for Guffington to speak to them, while looking at Lady Felix intently, trying to discover a hint of recognization in her eyes, or some odd movements she did not show before. Then, smiling as he realizes the things he just gave to Docken had reappeared in his pack, he gives Docken another Mead and Smelling Salts. Before the party, Guts had given a Nostrum to Docken, a Mead to Hybros and a Mead, Smelling Salts, Nostrum and Scroll of Weakening to Nyx, those aren't there.
  21. It'd be unfair to our undead and vampire heroes. Also holiness doesn't have a whole lot to do with ether. How about panacea?
  22. With the obvious mistake of assuming people think/thought of me as being not very towny, (Boris' antics being the latest evidence of the truth), that is correct. Although Masons are not really third party as they have the same goals as town. It was told to me that when investigated, I turn up as mason.
  23. Recruited. As I said. If you'd investigate me, I'd turn up Mason. Deal with it.
