  1. Alright, since I never watched the Skeleton Crew, I never stood a chance of guessing the right character. Could have guessed a few more of your personal Top 50 picks, though.
  2. Okay, that's what I was afraid about. Oh, that's right. I mistook him for a missing minifigure because I associated him with a new head mould, but forgot they went with a regular head and printed details. I'm almost sure at this point that it's from a TV show. Not just because that's what the majority of Disney Star Wars is based on, but because a new piece might be more likely for a new head mould, rather than just a helmet. And the Alien characters that Lego is legt to make are usually too obscure to be relevant to the plot, let alone don't have many lines of dialogue. Oh dear... The Fourth Sister (Lyn Rakish) from the Kenobi show?
  3. Oh, I think I'm screwed, then. At least without doing extensive amount of research. Oh great, that's very comforting for me to hear. If this fact alone doesn't motivate me to keep going, I don't know what will. Can you tell me, in regards to the actual naming of the character, is it a reasonable name or is it more, well, Star Wars-y? From a scale from one (Timm) to ten (Pao's longe name from RO), how ridiculous is it? Speaking of which, is it actually Pao from Rogue One?
  4. Eh, I have a hunch your #1 character is from the more modern era of Star Wars. Or on the contrary, someone from a long ago TV show episode. Possibly someone I don't recognize by name, just by looks. Anyways, how about the "Frog Lady" from Mando's second or Gorian Shard from the third season? Whoops, Gorian Shard was already guessed. Clone Commando from The Bad Batch, then.
  5. Well, I'm barely scratching the surface, then. Oh wow... How have i not seen this coming in the first place? It's obviously Fode and Beed. They check the new mould requirement and do have lines. Just not too sure if they would qualify for being important enough to the plot. If not... how about Wat Tambor? Your hints basically rule out any Podracer participants or Cantina Aliens. So I'm not gonna bother asking for any of these numerous characters. Even though some of them are probably in your Top 50 of most wanted minifigures.
  6. I have a knack for thinking outside the box, but I've very much got a thing for overthinking things too. Maybe it's not as complicated as it seems to be. So my next batch of perfectly fine guesses are... Dexter Jettster, Rebel Friend and Greez Dritus.
  7. Well, to deny something out of fear it would be too spoilery, can be considered an indirect spoiler as well. And thus, can help narrow down the answer too. Okay, let's see... The PT would probably not be much of a giveaway. Like that kid would say... there are too many of them. So maybe it's actually OT or even ST related. He was pretty excited over Babu Frik's inclusion in the recent Advent Calendar. Hmm, but maybe it's from another era entirely. Something from The Old Republic maybe... I actually don't have the faintest idea. But anyways, I'm gonna go with... Mara Jade Skywalker, Boss Nass (wouldn't that be funny?) and Rebel Guard. I consider three to be an appropriate amount of guesses per posting. Now I'm looking forward for you to tell me how wrong I really am.
  8. Ha, I know you will carry us all throughout these temporary dark times. Oh boy... Time to shine. It's already impossible to top your one hit wonder. But I am now able to emulate your effort. However, without so much of a hint, like you had, I doubt that I will. From which era does your most wanted minifigure come from?
  9. Can I just get the Cad Bane minifigure leaked piece by piece in all it's blurry glory? Otherwise, a couple more details regarding the winter wave sets would be neat. In the meantime, please excuse me while I'm sitting on my Boss Nass profile picture for the... "foreseeable future", so to speak. By the maker... what have I done?!
  10. Oh no... Intentionally didn't even tag him, yet there he is again. Just please don't overanalyze anything. Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along. Yeah, that's actually the exact face print I had in mind this whole time. Just mistook the 20th anniversary figures for actually having it. Hahaha, of all the things I am severely lacking in my life, pure joy is definitely not one of them. By your account, who is the worst musical offender, then? Speaking of music, Lego Star Wars PR team be like: Wake me up... when November ends.
  11. I had to search up this name. Because I was fortunate enough to never have witnessed the atrocity otherwise known as The Holiday Special. Think I can live without her inclusion in a possible Cantine set... or anything ever. They didn't? What's the classic smiley face look like, then? I seemingly have something else in mind. Definitely. Lego tries really hard to find new creative ways to pick up even more money out of people's pockets. While you always want to make the most with as little as possible, this is getting out of hand.
  12. Yeah, I know. That's what i meant by "thrown into the mix"... it's my only hope. But depending whether a highly likely Cantina contains smart bricks plus four smart figures as well, there might be not much room for additional Alien minifigs which might require new expensive head moulds. Lego may take advantage of the "Han/Greedo shot first" debate and leaves it up to people's imagination to decide. In other words, he will do absolutely nothing. That's alright. I humbly accept your defeat. The 20th Lego Star Wars anniversary replica figures, if you want to count those. Other than that, the redone Jedi Bob minifigure probably came closest to the oldschool design.
  13. Well, you don't need to have a whole nation when you're fine with just a small cozy village. Given that we now got our first look at this urgent smart figure business, I think I am quite content with Boss Nass not being able to speak for himself. Yeah, thanks... but no thanks to all this smart brick mumbo jambo. Hopefully Lego will be SMART enough by not doing brand new characters or versions of already existing ones with this smart stuff. The inclusion of Greedo obviously implies a new Cantina release. While this would actually be exciting news to me, without any new unique Alien minifigures thrown into the mix, it would be a huge missed opportunity.
  14. I don't need a Boss Nass nation, so to speak. I just want a Boss Nass minifigure. But yeah, given his natural disadvantages compared to aforementioned characters like the Kaminoans, some fan following might increase it's chances of seeing the Lego light of day. But how likely is that on the other hand? Yeah, me neither. And given I always prefer getting the smaller stuff first, moving on to medium sized things and leaving the bigger ones for last, means I never run out of sets to catch up to. Can't remember when (if ever) i got a heavy hitter in the same year it released. Oh for the maker's sake, Lego's got it's eyes and ears everywhere. So please don't give them any ideas... But this actually reminds me of a speaking Qui-Gon Jinn figure i used to have as a kid. Yeah, I also heard about the narrator thing. Though i like your idea better. Yep, not much to add beyond this. While we already talked a lot about this, the bottom line is surprisingly simple.
  15. Depending oh how you want to look at this topic being talked about, you can either thank or blame me for that. Eh, after some time you just sorta get hardened and used to all these crazy numbers... you start to laugh at them. However, how you wanna deal with that, is, of course, to each and everyone to decide. In my case, if the quality isn't there at all or the set just doesn't interest me thematically, I don't get it regardless of the pricing. And if it is to my liking, I get it for the right price later down the road, which is never a problem at my place. Although, given that some sets receive even more aggressive price points, you wait a little longer than you typically would be. But at the end of the day, nothing really changes for me. As the choices obviously remain your own. Yeah, if only enough people would root for an official Boss Nass minifigure as they were campaigning for Commander Cody, it would only be a matter of time. But somehow, I doubt this will happen at all. Wouldn't say no to it... but I wanna remain halfway realistic, even when trying to willing something into existence. Better yet, you put Boss Nass into a Diorama and put "WAAAAAR" onto the quote plaque. That's a good differentiated take to look at it. Boss Nass as a character is probably less of a problem than his TPM origins. And the fact that Lego limits down certain episodes to just a handful of sets and characters was displayed in full force last year. They could have given us anything new (not related to other formats) after all this time, but they didn't. They played it rather safe.
  16. Yeah, as of right now, there is obviously gonna be a $10 price gap between the two sets. But even if they were the exact same price, it wouldn't be hard to believe the Advanced came with no tacked on smart bricks stuff. Lego price policies are like crime scene investigations: very dynamic. So we'll see. In terms of just character relevance, I think they are all pretty similar. Next to no kid will remember their obscure Kaminoans or Boss Nass... if they're even aware of them. I like to look at this angle: if there was no Taun We included in the Starfighter, would anyone have bated an eyelash? Probably not. Would not have been the first $35 Jedi Starfighter to only include two figures. But for some reason, Lego included an expensive minifigure when they definitely didn't have to. That's gotta count for something. Same thing could happen for Boss Nass. Yet this is just one way at looking at things. Another is the accompanied sets and I absolutely agree... Episode II has some obvious advantages in terms of mass marketing appeal over TPM. Making a Boss Nass less likely than the recently released Taun and Lama. Yep, this ties into what I just said. A lot of kids take their imagination where the action is, rather than the other way around. Limited action might mean limited play. In that sense, TPM is just the least attracting PT option to release new sets. That's why I see Boss Nass as more likely (still fairly unlikely) to be included as a bonus figure in one of those visual dictionaries. They may have never made a new mould for one of those inclusions, but it ain't long ago when we said the same thing about Microfighters (Plo Koon). Just saying Lego's mindset revolves less around just delivering a toy for children than they used to. Due to numerous remakes, they tend to sprinkle in that occasional brand new figure targeted at adult collectors. Oh please, don't get me started with that swordy guy. Just want to clarify... I know my Boss Nass predictions are somewhat on the optimistic side. Wishful thinking will do that to you. Yet even I don't think he will happen until the next decade. But if you asked me about him officially getting made now versus just a couple of years ago... Then yeah, I am much more confident in the idea he will materialize. It's no longer just a pipe dream to me anymore.
  17. Ha, 50 bucks for such a set for Lego Star Wars in the year 2025? Not a chance! Maybe a decade or so ago. Those are some fair points, but I think stranger things have happened. To me, finally making a Boss Nass is no different than getting Lama Su or Taun We. Both not the most action oriented characters that required brand new head moulds as well. As you said, the amount of fitting sets are quite limited, so the best bet might be an anniversary or dictionary inclusion. I literally have never heard about this before... sound hilarious.
  18. Oh yeah... that's right. Oh man... I intentionally didn't want to make it too easy by saying TPM, which would have been dangerously close to a dead giveaway. Thought PT would still be a broad enough field for educated guesses, given how many named characters are still missing, but anyways... Fair play and all power to you. Impressive, most impressive. How long you actually think im gonna stuck with this profile picture; when will Boss Nass be released? Given the total lack of any TPM sets this whole decade, I don't wanna say it will happen until the next one.
  19. The second promotion, you say... What was the first? And I gotta tell you... Somehow, I knew this would happen. The second you said you love guessing games I had a bad feeling about this and thought you might crack this thing in no time. But first try? That's just brutal. How did you actually do that? I might have mentioned wanting a Boss Nass figure once in a while, but other than that... Your guess came totally out of the blue. Please elaborate.
  20. HOW? WHAT? WHY?! Wesa make you bombad general. And yousa gonna watcha mesa put yousa on block list ya. Well, that was easy... Game's over before it began. It escalated really quickly. But it had so much potential...
  21. I already gave away the first hint. Now you are free to take a guess. I will give more hints later down the line.
  22. Yeah, me too. The character in question comes from the PT era... So I don't think it's making things that much easier. Like I said, I reckon it's gonna take a while until Lego makes it an official minifigure. So I'm gonna sit on that profile picture for quite some time. Everybody is welcome to take a guess. But just once a day. Doesn't want this to be over so soon. Once it's solved, which I still think will happen way before Cad Bane has fully leaked, I will change my profile picture. This is where the fun begins.
  23. Yep, I really hope so. In terms of at least price pro piece ratio, it's in line with the last TIE variants. And beyond that it definitely isn't hard to believe this being a $60 set for 2020s standards. Like how is that any different than, say, this year's ARC-170? Yeah, people who complain about something online are usually louder than the ones happy or satisfied with something. And thus, painting a misleading overall impression. When in actuality it should be clear as day that TCW themed sets reached peak popularity within the Star Wars theme. I mean, one might criticize Lego's design decisions all day long, but they ain't stupid when it comes to making business. I won't gonna give it away just yet, but maybe you fancy a little guessing game?
  24. In terms of brand new early 2026 minifigures, this missing version of Cad Bane will be everything to me. Even if i wasn't as big of a fan of this character, it would probably still be my clear standout figure. I can not wait to change my profile picture into one of my next most wanted minifigs. Might be waiting a whole while until it officially gets made, though.
  25. An inclusion of Tarkin would sweeten the TIE Advanced deal quite considerably to me. Would need to wait for appropriate discounts based on the potential smart brick nonsense alone, but since i do that with nearly every other set anyway it would make little no no difference to me. And good thing I've got nothing to do with Lego's design team, then. I constantly forget about Space Troopers being a thing, too. About Clone Troopers being mostly disliked in modern era... Personally, wouldn't bet on that. Realistically, we don't know that for certain. We can only make assumptions based on the famous online bubble, which makes but a fraction of the overall picture. Obviously some people who used to love their Clone Troopers back then ain't a fan of how they evolved now. Kids on the other hand didn't care about the finer printed details back in the day and they probably won't care now. But are there more kids into Lego Star Wars (not that Lego is dependant on them as much anymore) now than say... a decade or so ago? Again, we don't know. All we do know for sure is that Lego is very keen on keep pumping out Clones to it's consumers. Since they got started in 2020, this year, in fact, the Extravaganza reached new heights. And that, of course, is in no small part thanks to people who are obsessed with army building. So many Lego channels are wholly centered around the idea of massive minifigure hauls. A target group, while always intended by Lego upon initially releasing Battle Packs, never quite had the reach as it has nowadays. So in conclusion, while certainly not without it's fair shair of critics or folks feeling the fatigue, love it or loathe it, looks like Lego Star Wars Clone Troopers were never more asked for than they are since their comeback. Otherwise you can't explain their omnipresence for what is soon to be the better part of this decade!
