LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

And maybe some day... you will admire the minifigure of said fictional character. After the surprising Darth Malak inclusion from last year, i am inclined to say that anything is possible at this point. Add it to the list of Jedi minifigures Lego has never done... yet. Not necessarilly an acusation, more of a observation. Day #19 of asking Lego not to bugger the upcoming Clone Turbo Tank. -

Nor did they serve under Yarael Poof, Yaddle or Oppo Rancisis. Oh shoot, you can't say it that way? I mean arguable most attractive Jedi alive up until, well, she got blasted 66 times during Order 66. The new pauldron piece is already marked as fake. That's the least thing we need right now. Drip feeding everything is tiresome, but you get there eventually. While fake leaks are just the worst, no matter how you slice it. -

Yeah, everyone wants to be seen or heard for different reasons. Like i said, i totally understand this mentality. I wanna see the whole thing now, too. I just urge to see the full picture as well. Ha, if you couldn't tell, i was being super saracstic about it. The blah blah blah part actually happened recently. Day #18 of asking Lego not to defile the upcoming Clone Turbo Tank. I am under the impression i got the easier game going on. Yet i am slightly worried i am running out of fitting verbs, before this thing is either fully leaked or offically confirmed. It might not just be the top of any helmet, but the helmet of one of the killers of arguably the most attractive Jedi alive. -

Yeah, i can definitely see where you are coming from. I don't like this desperation for seeking attention for social media fame either. It always reminds me that you can do the right things for the wrong reasons. Still glad what we are getting. Surely better than all those stupid fake leaks. Other than that, i dunno what you are talking about. I would love to finally experience people's perspective on all the things you just mentioned. But until they share their thoughts, everything is shrouded in complete mystery. -

While i understand the annoyance that comes with drip feeding things and would most definitely be fine without it, we should be thankful to even get these frequent leaks in the first place. Otherwise this thread would be a off-topic wasteland, as we would have a whole lot less to talk about. Here's hoping there will be a more steady flow of leaks soon. -

That's good news indeed. Makes getting only two minifigs more bearable and adds some much needed value to the set. I kinda want this even more now. Just make it a pure Separatist set at this point, like the AT-TE was for the Galactic Republic. But that's obviously too late at this point. Stil not too late for a surprising Wat Tambor inclusion, though! Until Lego comes to their senses regarding videogame coverage again, the only way to experience more Jedi Survivor is to actually play it all over again. That double platinum trophy (if anyone in here is aware of PSN trophies) isn't gonna be earned by itself. The Cal Kestis minifigure will watch my every move. -

Thanks, will do. And i will bring it in warm. Even though i am kinda prone to warm temperatures. Well yeah, it would obviously be highly overpriced, like much more expensive than buying a whole CMF in sorted order. But as things stand right now, this might be the only way to get it done. And if the execution is just right, even the build could be something noteworthy, it could go a long way. Imagine a dozen or 16 most wanted minifigures all in one set... I would like to see them try. Just don't make it a Lego shop exclusive. I know. During my childhood, at our local store, you could buy these weekly released Star Wars Magazines called Fact Files. Each one contained different topics like droids, planets, vehicles etc. The thing was, you could actually take out individual pages from the articles to continually build up your ultimate collection folder. It was pretty neat. Since the internet was still rather limited back then, i learned a lot about the expanded universe in there, including Mara Jade Skywalker. She was a real badass. Like a very well written character. Unlike many female characters by today's standards. Day #17 of asking Lego not to disgrace the upcoming Clone Turbo Tank. -

Oh, i gotta clarify, i merely meant from Lego's point of view. Of course, depending on personal preferences, it still might matter to the consumer side of things. However, if your inner purist monk allows it, you could still put the CTT in your ROTS collection, regardless of box branding. Yes, i agree on that. Commando Droids should only be included at the expense of some generic B1s, not swapped out for more valuable characters. If all you get is just Clankers, i would at least want one of them to be a Commander Battle Droid. -

That would be amazing and about time. Well, by that logic the Commando Droids wouldn't be included in the ROTS based 327th BP either, right? Or it won't matter at all, because Lego tends to mix and match figures and locations how they see fit anyways. And chances are all these sets (CTT/MTT/327BP) will have TCW branding, as Lego always does this when clones are included. Which, of course, wouldn't rule out additional 20th ROTS anniversary design on the package (like the 501st BP with TCW box art and 20th anniversary CW logo). So yeah, i can see all possible scenarios. The most important thing is their long overdue comeback. -

Ha, okay, that's just pure comedy gold. Makes me feel right at home even further. Mon Mothma's or Maarva's monologue might be solid contenders regarding more Andor material. Here i am, preparing the inevitable anti-acceptance speech (that even a thing?) for the upcoming Clone Turbo Tank. Only then, instead of some powerful, albeit adjusted Andor monologues, it will be most fittingly a plethora of silly prequel memes. -

Ha, whether you were saying this on purpose or not, speaking of your sacrifice, for a second i thought you would go full on Luthen monologue mode. I like my clones. I love the era. But i'm not willing to be blinded by it all. Like rather enjoy being enthusiastic about certain things, but i can't stand being a fully fledged fanboy with zero expectations. So if 2026 was a return to form, so like providing a better balance in terms of sub-themes again, i would be all for it. In regards to be willing to compromise, well... I will probably end up getting the new CTT. Just at an even deeper discount that i originally anticipated. I don't know if you can make a bigger compromise in the Lego Atar Wars landscape right now. Mara Jade... Why does that name sound familiar to me? Is she a true Skywalker... or more like Reeeeey? -

I see... it's a running gag. That might slightly complicate things for me, but it doesn’t matter. Unless the news drought stops soon, i will find it. So even though the newly revealed Vending Maschine spawned from the Ideas initiative, Lego should do this to Trojan Horse a Lego Star Wars CMF into existence... just without the gamble factor. So not really a CMF in the sense of blind bags, but more in a way of getting a bunch of desirable minifigs all at once. -

Day #16 of asking Lego not to exterminate the upcoming Clone Turbo Tank. Yep, the ongoing thirst for more info is real. I wanna put it this way, the UCS Death Star will probably be the most exciting set that i will never get. Ha, good one. At first i was like "hold on, that's not what i wrote." Know this, i am very found of quoting pop culture things (either 1:1 or adjusted) in situations i deem to be fitting. So your word play is something i can totally get behind. Oh okay, that's good to know. I actually searched this entire thread for the beloved Billionaire bubble and didn't find it. I think it actually happened a little longer ago than i thought that it did. And it's just that i only catched up to it a couple of months back, hence the recency bias. However, i am holding out hope that it was either @CloneCommando99, @Mandalorianknight, or, well, you. Since these are the individuals i am in touch with the most. Even though my stomach says it's one of the other guys. If i had to take a guess, i think it was the Dedra Meero fanatic. -

The last word triggers me to get a little bit off my chest, which ultimately might be perceived as the most uninteresting, unnecessary posting on Eurobricks ever... but better late than never. So yeah, prepare to be bored beyond reasoning everyone: A couple of months back, i don't know who it was or what exactly he was referring to... i just remember someone in this thread saying if X is or ain't happening, he will personally travel to Billund. Since i was convinced Lego would not fulfill the requested thing in question, all i have to say: enjoy your travels. If anyone knows what i am searching for and let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. To me, not remembering trivial stuff in any given moment, is like an itch that you can't scratch. -

Oh definitely. I initially imagined some sort of modular approach for the UCS Death Star. You would build a basic structure that works well enough for both. And then you can slide different diorama scenes based on Episode IV or VI in and out how you please. Additionally, you can fully or partially enclose the whole thing with some extra panels for either ANH or ROTJ look. I mean, you have so many pieces at your disposal... (it's over 9000!), there has to be something special going on. I doubt it's just a very giant grey ball, or that the majority will be made up of tiny parts. Either way, i am very much looking forward to all the leaks and reveals from the outside... and then the corresponding reactions from the inside. It could be one for the ages. -

You know Lego wants to get as much mileage out of new pieces as possible. So the next batches of Clone based BPs is very likely. Jokes aside, this doesn’t have to impact the immediate future. And even then, some Imperials can obviously wear those pauldrons as well. Yep, this has been indeed such terrible timing to kiss videogame based sets goodbye. Hopefully Lego will course correct their decision for Jedi 3. Nothing new on minifigures. As far as i know it will be based on both Death Stars. Day #14 of asking Lego not to humiliate the upcoming Clone Turbo Tank. The overall breakdown of sub-themes for 2026 sets will be pretty interesting indeed. The last Star Wars movie will have happened seven years ago at this point. Curious to see wether TMAG will get the past movie treatment, like two full waves and that's it. Or if it's more considerate like the shows, so up to three sets spread across a couple of waves and maybe a few follow-up sets the year after. I don't know why, but i have a feeling it will be more like the latter. Although, given the source material being Mandalorian and Grogu, the ongoing support might again be more substantial than everything else. -

Yeah, while the MTT itself will probably leave plenty to be desired, right next to the CTT, it very well could end up looking like the definitive flagship summer set to go. To add one more thing about the proper design for Kaminoans, given that Lego went with tall legs instead of the skirt piece, they would have kinda reminded me of their goofy appearance from the original Lego Star Wars Videogame. It was an alrighty attempt for 2005, like Travellers Tales had to do so many things from scratch, because it simply didn't exist in physical form back then. Heck, some of it still doesn't exist today! But for 2020s standards with all those open options by now... Yeah, that wouldn't have been the greatest. -

Yep, i heard about the whole Kenner thing... extremely embarrassing. Of course, i agree, the three different letters on the box should not be used as an excuse to increase or decrease the value by default. However, when the MBS was still an active thing, the difference between it and UCS was more obvious to me. UCS is meant to be a big ship display model with next to no playablity. MBS is a large location based set, which is both displayable and playable, so lots of included minifigures make more sense. But now, since giant UCS sets have an actual fleshed out interior and all, i feel like the lines are more blurred than they used to be. So getting more minifigs (besides the price twice or thrice as high than standard UCS sets) makes more sense, too. Yeah, you were very... General Generous with this one. Have you considered doing some PR for Lego or something? Oh yeah, i'm somewhat of a big clone guy as well. So don't get me wrong... won't say no to Bly, too. Just wished he would have either showed up in a different set. Or in the best case scenario, we didn't have to choose between a Seperatist leader or named Clone Trooper for the MTT in the first place. Can't have everything, i suppose. Even though Lego likes to take that principle too seriously for my taste. Well, as things stand right now, it's labeled as a UCS set. But speaking of the aforementioned blurred line, that doesn't have to mean much. As i doubt Lego would include 38 minifigures (other than charging 1000 bucks ) in the set, just so that every person could put them on a separate display stand. It has to have some play features and accessable interior at this point. So it might as well be another Death Star that says UCS on the the box, but in reality is more like MBS. This is a bit of a wild card to me. Given both the price tag and the piece count, i still think the new Jango Fett's Slave 1 will be much closer in scale to 75312 than 75243. But i don't know where you would put the 100+ pieces either. Maybe it includes a small landing platform this time around, similarly to the 75222 MBS Betrayal on Cloud City set. Either way, for what it is supposed to represent, it will be too small. Which is unfortunate, but finally getting a regular Jango Fett minifigure, will apease my inner FOMO demon. So, another attempt... What on earth happened to the MBS format? Why is no LAN member asking this question to one of the designers? The aforementioned 75222 had your typical shelf life of 1+ year. I remember the reception being divisive at first, but people seemed to came around on this set. Then the 75290 was much more popular with an impressive shelf life of 4+ years to boot. It's retirement last year might be a good sign for things to come? Has Lego forgotten that Endor exists? As long as there will be another one of these sets, i don't care what the call it. The old Death Stars, Ewok Village and Assault on Hoth were all MBS style sets in UCS disguise. It's just the distinction didn't exist back then. In my head canon, it was the Hoth debacle that prompted Lego to put a new label on the box. -

I mean, right now it's closer to the bare minimum. Ten Battle Droids sounds like a lot, but we shouldn't forget they're dirt cheap for Lego to produce. If those two minifigs would have been replaced with two Seperatist leaders, that's alright i'd say. And if they would have been in addition to the current line-up, then we are getting into the bonus category. Even then it feels kinda wrong, because it would be just four full figs. But then the ten B1s would be more meaningful, i suppose. It's entirely possible, but i wouldn't bet on it just yet. Why, thank you. Before i finally decided to jump the shark and become a part of it as well, i was reading numerous of your postings, too. Good observation. You are talking about set 75325, i suppose? While this set actually released after the new Boba Fett (jetpack would already have been in the production pipeline obviously) minifigure, this would explain a lot. Considering it took them ages to release a proper Darksaber piece, i find it not hard to believe. @CallumPears Yep, it's tiny side builds like this which only seem to exist to drive the piece count up a little bit. Ah yes, right... i knew there was something else that could fit much better than the current solution. Considering you would otherwise have no actual minifigures whatsoever, that's gotta be one of the nicest, most optimistic meant bonuses i have ever seen. Yep, the shoulder thingies are the pauldrons, while the waist thingies are called cloth karmas. Also, Eurobricks C-C-Citizen now. Somehow thought i would take longer to get there. -

No way... somebody suggested long legs for Vader?! Currently laughing my megablocks off over here. Yep, i agree, they are fine for the aforementioned Woody (even though he works with regular legs too) and especially for Avatar as well. You know, when there is an actual big hight difference to be had. But yeah, many things look better in people's minds than with their own eyes, long legs certainly among them. -

Dark green would probably be too dark, yeah... but still more accurate and closer to his on screen appearance than just keeping the sand green helmet. Ideally there would be a medium color tone in between. One way or the other, you can't deny the old helmet's coloring clashes with the new armor's design. It just looks off to me. Not downright terrible, it's still a great minifigure. Just the only area (plus the jetpack) where the figure is lacking. On yet another note... So we know the play scale version of Jango Fett's Slave 1 is rumored to include a Kaminoan. Fingers crossed for it to be Lama Su. Or at least someone different than Taun We, which given set 75333 still hasn't retired, would be ridiculous. Design-wise, i remember a lot of debate wether or not this species should have the tall Woody legs or not. I don't think so. I mean, the Kaminoans are not that much taller than regular sized humans. I think the long neck piece already accounts for the height difference. And the skirt piece is a much better fit for their outfit. I think they look goofy as hell with the long legs on. -

An overhauled pauldron piece would be a nice improvement indeed. But if i had to decide between this and the return of cloth karmas, it would be the latter. I can stomach these helmet holes alright. They are a minor inconvenience at best and a small nitpick at worst. But these small stripes down the waist remind me more of gun holsters than anything else. In an ideal Lego world it would be both new and improved pauldrons and karmas, but i'm trying to be realistic here. They already did the new rangefinder piece, which looks so much better than before as well. On another note, i just got reminded of it by looking at the new Jango Fett... It still boggles my mind that Lego was able or willing to recoler four new helmets for generic Mandos in a 15_ Battle Pack, but could not be bothered to actually give Boba Fett, a main character, his accurate helmet color in a 100/50_ set. And there were, are and always will be some special snowflakes who attempt to justify these things.
