LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

Since i don't know if my Lego gonna arrive in time, i try to be strong and save those three episodes for this sunday. It's gonna be tough resisting for so long. Gonna look forward to your reactions that may or not be considered dangerously close to spoiler territory, though. If i won i would get the UCS Slave 1 without batting an eyelash. I come from the original Lego Star Wars Videogame as well. Which actually released shortly before ROTS hit the silver screen. So you could have spoiled yourself via various cutscenes. The movie tie-in games situation was absolutely crazy back then. Oh no, don't go, admirable Acolyte, i will be so miserable without you. Commercially, it doesn't make much sense for Lego. Emotionally, it doesn't make any sense for me. So i see it as a win-win-situation. For the dozens of other people out there... they probably won't see it that way. -

Yes, of course. Like i said in one of my first postings, it's gotta be challenging to juggle between all these different sub-themes all at once. This is the "content over cinema" kinda era. Not the early simple days, when you had a single movie come out every three years and could then easily focus on a single ongoing show. And yep, it's impossible to cater to everybody. And i would argue this would help matters at all. If you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one. What we do need (and is in the realm of possibility) is a return of balancing play sets out at least a bit better than what we have right now. This can be done with or without the 18+ sets/extra formats. Even with all this additional stuff, nobody can tell me that you absolutely have to have both flagship sets of the upcoming summer August wave to be of TCW/ROTS origin. And if we only had like half of the Adults Welcome products, we could even have something of a reasonable 50:50 split between OT and PT, plus still some sets based on new shows. However, i don't see this 18+ madness gonna stop anytime soon. I consider myself to be both a Star Wars and Lego fan, potentially the former a bit more than the latter. Even though it's such a magical connection that it isn't easily severed from one another. And if i remember correctly, i got into both at pretty much the exact time. While there are a few other licensed themes that are interesting to me as well, i think without Lego Star Wars i would not have registered on Eurobricks. So, i would make the distinction between a Lego Star Wars fan first and a Lego fan second. Well, if we are to compare mainline episodes with single seasonal shows, i can play this game, too. And even go a little beyond that... neither did Tales of the Jedi, Empire, and probably, Underworld. But yeah, i get it... If all you get to eat is a whole lot of Nothing-Burgers for the better part of a decade, you better cherish that bone... fleeting at that might be. That was a solid boss battle in Jedi Survivor. The one and only The Black Series figure that i own is Cad Bane. As compensation for never owning one of his minifigs, until that finally changed as well. -

Oh good. At first i thought this would be an actual drawing competition and i didn't want them to be scared of my awful artistic skill level. Ha, that's the thing, the coverage must have reached reached rock bottom (no offense to your nickname), if releasing a single desirable and nice looking minifigure is considered a pretty significant bone. If the roles between ST and PT would be swapped, i don't know how i would feel about getting just a new helmet after all these years... even if i could be excited about 18+ sets. You take everything you can without looking back, i guess. And well, i'd be lying if i said the total lack of ST sets is something to personally mourn about... i don't. Never was, never will be. I just feel bad and almost pity the fans that do. Don't know if they even expect anything beyond anniversaries at this point. The ST ships are based so much on variants from OT vehicles that you reach a point of completion rather quickly. Sure, there are some locations who could have easily made the jump to official play sets. But in the grand scheme of things, despite having just like two waves per movie, i feel like the trilogy as a whole has been covered quite well. The PT, on the other hand, despite the discrepancy in terms of runtime and the overall amount of sets, i would wager, has still much more gaps than the ST. Which sounds implausible at first, but when you look up the the vastly different approach to world building and the actual desire to create new things between these two trilogies, it makes perfect sense. So, in conclusion, the PT and OT got much more sets than the ST, yes... but given the source material alone, this is much needed as well. And therefore, in my eyes, justified. -

Okay, i wanna take a shot (maybe even Aayla Secura style) at this whole crazy clone extravaganza. Now i know this has been somewhat of an controversial topic on this forum. Especially this year as we witness (at least for this decade) an unprecedented case of TCW overflow. Star Wars is very much a generational thing at it's core, duh. And as a major part of the merchandise for over a quarter of a century, the same principle applies to Lego Star Wars. Depending on what you grew up with and when you jumped into Lego, each individual obviously want to see different things to happen and add to their personal collection. I grew up with both the OT and PT. Since the latter was pretty polarizing and fresh back then, it had a bigger impact on me at the time. As for Lego, besides casually owning a few sets here and there during my childhood, this passion never materialized as a main hobby until 2017. At that point, the shelf space was dominated by new Disney Star Wars properties (OT & ST). Some amazing sets for sure. Catched up to some great RO sets as much as possible. But after the golden age of TCW, it didn't felt like there was an awful lot of that and the prequels in store for us. For example, the way you understandable feel now about several Republic Starfighters releases, i felt too when Lego made yet another X-Wing, harking back to the generational thing, which obviously also influences business decisions. Yeah, it would absolutely be better to have some more variety on display again and i can definitely comprehend this natural desire from past experience. As much as i love putting my clones on a grey baseplate, i slowly but surely grow sick and tired of it all, too. Like the new 327th Battle Pack is hardly something i can get excited for anymore. So yeah, i would appreciate more OT related stuff again. But let's not forget what really derailed this train in the first place. The clones are merely a trend, a symptom of this whole mess, the cause lies elsewhere. Lego's obsession and shift of making primarily toys for kids (which adults can enjoy as well) to increasingly trying to appeal to the adult market is the root of the problem at hand. Those 18+ sets and various additional formats are cannibalizing the system scale set slots like there is no tomorrow. Like this very May wave is actually perfectly showcasing. If there was some sort of middle ground, say Lego slashes the amount of these things Darth Maul style and replaces them with some OT sets, you probably wouldn't complaining or at least don't mind the clone craziness, because the ratio would obviously be balanced again. Last but not least, let me say this... I can not stand the ST. Like, at all. But seeing these hungry fans, patiently waiting for Lego to throw them a bone or two, is kinda sad to see. You guys definitely deserve better than this. -

I agree that the 2021 X-Wing did retain its size from the old one and the TIE Fighter did not. Still think the 75300 is a solid build. Especially for the 40 bucks price tag it originally got offered for. It was actually my first TIE Fighter, so the value was definitely there for me. The 75211, while probably delivering the best play scale build so far, on the other hand, was (in hindsight) too big for my taste. But seeing this thing would probably be ~90 bucks in today's money, i would be curious how a standard TIE in the 60/70s range with ~600 pieces would look today. Well, speaking as someone who has the majority of the Advent Calendar's, the Mando version is clearly one of the weaker ones, yes. Like i implied, the minifigure line-up was rather underwhelming and half of it didn't exactly scream Mando. Like you can have a generic Stormtrooper/Scout Trooper in every AC. And yes, the Scarf Mando felt like Lego was doing the bare minimum. Grogu was pretty cute, though. Not much else they could have done with this tiny dude. That's neither how i would imagine a good themed AC nor what i was trying to convey. Given good execution (that's such an important thing, right), themed AC's could absolutely be a breath of fresh air. The combination of completely new, never before seen characters, new versions of already existing characters and returns of slightly updated variants of long lost characters could be an exciting prospect. And if you were to release Episode-specific calendar's, you would not need to worry about any timeline. But yeah... I can see this is a long shot. There are just so many missing minifigures still, that you look up every opportunity for Lego to fill the gapes. A considerable amount of wishful thinking applies there for sure. Although, like i said, they do it with Lego HP all the time. -

I can see you standpoint on this, but i don't know why (or if there even is a good reason for that at all), but in this case, the 50:50 ratio doesn't bother me. Somehow... this feels different to me than past Lego's screw-ups. Besides me never buying multiple Battle Packs anyways, that is. It might as well be that simple. I am no hardcore army builder kinda guy, so i don't need to rely on more balanced minifigure breakdowns. Yeah, something like this. Oh, don't get me wrong, it's a decent build in it's own right. And like you said, there weren't exactly a plethora of other possibilities in terms of alternatives builds. But at the end of the day, it's just a Battle Pack build, you know what i mean? To me, it could be the greatest 100~ pieces thing ever made... it would still be my secondary focus. I build these things, maybe play around for a little bit, put them on my cabinet and then i move on. Man, i miss the times when you could just get those Battle Packs day and date for full price without thinking twice. Those were the days. Yes, please... Shoretroopers would do it for me as well. Now only Lego needs to be aware of that, too... and act accordingly. -

Okay, maybe i would be surprised, too. The word i was looking at was shocked. As i doubt it would be shocking to me anymore. Lego just confused me one too many times with their set picks as of late, i guess. Yes, anything really. Lots of possibilities to fill the gaps for every era of Star Wars. A yearly themed Advent Calendar would also help making minifigures less predictable. The official box art for the Death Trooper & Night Trooper Battle leaked at the usual places. Nothing too surprising after the confident images leaks. The build is... yeah, what it is. As a non-canon vehicle, it kinda reminds me of the old micro Gunship. But whatever... It's a Battle Pack. Even if the build is more noteworthy than this, i don't care terribly much for it. Minifigs is where it's at. And yep, i quite like those. It's nice the Night Troopers both got different helmets and torsos. Also good to have some new Death Troopers back after all this time. Will definitely get this, but not at day one. Never have since the 33% price increase. -

Don't worry, i've got you covered... i just had a nice chat with my imaginary uncle who knows someone who used to work for the Lego Star Wars design team in 1999. And Legends () have it that a Mara Jade minifigure will in fact be officially made for the brand's 30th anniversary. You heard it here first. I am too lazy to go in-depth about this right now, but my list would be at least as long as yours. Although many of those characters would require new head moulds, which make them not very likely candidates for an AC inclusion. Sweet Bantha Poodoo, i didn't like her inclusion from the very get go. Like, it's such an odd choice for an anniversary figure. Not too sure about the pink Astromech Droid, but every other minifig is a character we have never gotten before. Cal Kestis, Fives, Saw Gerrera etc. are all great choices. And than you have an shoehorned, uninteresting version with young Leia, which just feels totally out of place... yikes. There would have been better alternatives from even the Kenobi Show, like the Fourth Sister. Just hang in there, man... If we are trying to be rational about this thing, our chances for another Andor set were very low to begin with. At the same time, i'm not convinced the recent events made those odds any lower than they already are. Other than that, let's not forget Lego has an obsession with 18+ sets these days. =) While this is supposed to be a joke and i find it funny, the thing is... If such a set releases sometime in the future, would anybody be surprised at this point? -

Yes, the U-3PO is often mistaken to be Episode II C-3PO, who would be an easy choice as well. And with the re-release of young Boba Fett you bring up yet another possibilty to deliver a more varied line-up of AC minifigs. And on a more obvious note... Movie/Show themed calendar's could (or should) absolutely be a thing. This way you would tie it all together. In fact, Lego did that once with the 2021 Mando one. While neither the actual figs nor their overall amount were anything to write home about, it proofed to be quite a popular choice for people. Locally speaking, it was sold out across nearly every major shop in a matter of weeks and was generally hard to come by. Of course, Mando hype peaked at that point of time and that definitely gave it a push forward, but i have never seen an AC on such high demand before. Yeah, the minifigures will heavily carry this set for the more mature audience. If you don't mind watching a few out of context spoilers for the series, i recommend watching videos titled "TCW is a kids show", or something along those lines. There is a whole row dedicated to them. One way or the other, you will get the idea. -

Yeah, when i think this thing through, the commotion seems to be a little exaggerated. The scene deals with something we never saw in Star Wars on screen before. So the shock value is undeniably strong with this one. But like you said, it doesn't really go beyond much of the stuff we witnessed numerous times via various media before. TCW was supposed to be suited for kids, yet featured many scenes with decapitations, torture and so on. But that didn't stop Lego making many, many sets anyways. The Turbo Tank releases this August. -

So, as far as Advent Calendar's go, i am okay with them. I like the occasional silly figure to place on a extra section of the baseplate. So i don't mind those ugly christmas sweaters. Even though this thing is a little played out at this point. And they simply can't hold a candle compared to the original special figures like Jango, Maul, Vader etc. However, when it comes to the minifigure selection, i would wish the Calendar's to be a little more versatile. Getting one fig per faction (at least the main four) is perfectly fine. And i do appreciate it when some of the rare figs like the Cloud Car Pilot shows up. But it would be nice to have some of the more obscure characters in there as well. Certain characters who would otherwise be difficult to put in a regular set. Or just already existing, more popular figures in unique outfits. Now, of course, it's not reasonable to expect new moulds for an item with a shelf life this limited. And since it's meant for kids and families, it might need a renewed or shared focus... or not. Because if you look at how successfully they do the Harry Potter AC every year, putting exclusive figs left and right without making it a mere AFOL product, it could work for Star Wars as well. Just a couple of new prints here and there would go a long way. -

I don't wanna go any more off-topic than we already are, so no specifics from me. But what i will say is, from my point of view, you were just dropping numerous truth bombs. I agree with quite a lot of what you just said. It was well worth a read. Finally, my minifig prediction remains unchanged: B1 Battle Droid, Clone Shock Trooper, Sabine Wren/Ezra Bridger, Night Trooper, Ahsoka and Anakin for the ugly christmas sweater fix. Potentially some extra buildable droids. -

I can generally not stand this stance of waving your hands in order to gain cheap attention everywhere you look, but that's social media for you. And they all for sure like their colored thumbnails. Oh, it's beautiful. As for the legit leakers, every so often they do not spill any more beans as they can or want to. Regardless of reasoning, i am fine with that. I don't own any claim over their way of when and where to share new details. As far as i'm concerned, they should do as they please. More than anything else, i'm grateful that they feed us all this information. Without their efforts, so many speculations as we know them, would simply not be possible. So it's not to be taken for granted. Especially considering the fact that it takes ages for Lego to reveal Lego Star Wars stuff in particular. Haha, yes, this scene is hilarious as well. The german dub is very good, too. With the current direction of May the 4th GWPs, basically combining the best of both worlds, i feel like Lego is definitely on the right track again. Those microbuilds have been okay for me in the past, but what can i say... i am a minifigure aficionado. What i could not stand at all were the buildable R2-D2 and BB-8. I hope they will never do those for Star Wars Day ever again... not for the highest tier, that is. But yeah, really looking forward to my trio of Clone Cadets. Even though they might not make it in time for next sunday. -

Yeah, you are right... I remember reading this here a long time ago. Back then, i couldn't believe that. So my brain probably pushed away that knowledge. Even more so, i'd rather they used some more cost-effective 41st Clones in favour of the Turbo Tank build. Or just brought the Galactic Marines with the UT-AT in the first place. Although the former is more justifiable for the high price tag than the latter. I dunno... despite them being the reason for a seemingly heavily compromised build, i'm still glad we are getting the GA. Just even more worried about the set now... Which makes me wanna see the real thing more than ever. -

Ha, some Lego group people are reading this, right? We better stop giving them free bad PR advice. Well yeah, don't get me wrong. There are obviously lots of people involved. And everybody makes mistakes. Or their may be some misunderstandings between several sources. This is what fuels the speculation which we are all here for. Sometimes it's funny to see the huge leaking history of a single set and what it actually ends up being... for better or worse. The annoying part was solely in reference to the clickbait culture. Which is not exactly something new... but annoying nonetheless. This seems familiar to me... I gotta look that one up. Personally, i tend to enjoy the Emporer's parody quite a lot. Like when Palpy goes to the barber shop and the Ithorian owner pulls off his hood and he looks like freaking Einstein. Oh okay. Well, this will be only my second May the 4th promo i have been participating (2024/2025) in. I got some bigger sets in May in years prior to this, but outside of the Lego shop. As i wasn't exactly pleased with the GWP's in this decade. The way it is now, minifigs plus some actual builds, is a welcome return to form. Maybe not quite reaching absolute peak performance from the early days, but still miles ahead of what we used to get for a period of time. The biggest technicality there is. I think if there is one IP where head canon matters the most, it's Star Wars. The universe is as wide as an ocean (sometimes as deep as a puddle), so each and everyone is encouraged to have his own version of the canon. And that's the beauty of it. Tell me you are joking, without telling me you are joking. Isn't it a little late for April Fools' Day? Right now... more than i am willing to admit. Why in the world would they spread themself so thin? They got two new moulds. Yeah yeah, they have to be expensive. Not the mould itself, but setting up the new factory lines and all that. But if you have to compromise the actual set too much, like you already have ~100 pieces less than the last Turbo Tank (which was already much smaller), then... don't do it? I know, wishful thinking at best, as i don't think it's up for the lego designer to decide at some point. But if we are now at a point that precious pieces are wasted for 10 buildable wheels... and no, PPP is by no means everything... then it's difficult to stay optimistic for this one. -

Yeah, when including questionable at best minifigs in sets, i don't wanna see something like "all that people remember were >> insert character description here <<" wanna be justifications ever again. The whole thing with the leaked minifigure list, including Mas and Sly, seems to be false information anyways. Good lord, this reminds me there are just far too many people playing insiders out there. Not going to call out anyone by name, but yeah... it can get a little annoying at times. So what i read here is true... from a certain point of view. Man, i gotta watch Robot Chicken again. Sounds solid as well. How often do you do these May the 4th promos? Gotcha. I try to be vigilant as well. Just saying that if the rule was to only talk about newly released media in any capacity after one to two weeks instead, everyone would be reading at their own risk, which each and everyone should be aware of when interacting online. The way it is now, is fine. Trying to be realistic here, potential spoilers has happened a lot and probably will happen a lot more in here. Recent shows and Lego Star Wars are so closely intertwined in several ways, it can create a dynamic in conversations rather quickly. Making even the tiniest little spoiler nearly impossible to avoid. But to conclude, i know i can do better than this. Next time, i will. Because despite being a new member, i don't wanna rely on any puppy protection in the slightest. Back to Lego Star Wars 2025 news, it looks like it's now confirmed only selected sets will get double VIP points for May the 4th. The presumed list is as follows: Ahsoka's Duel on Peridea, Ambush on Mandalore Battle Pack, Captain Rex Y-Wing Starfighter, Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack, Coruscant Guard Gunship, Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator, Dessert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit, Ghost & Phantom II, Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder, Imperial Star Destroyer, Jedi Bob's Starfighter, Paz Vizla and Moff Gideon Battle, The Dark Falcon, couple of helmets, some buildable characters, many sets from the Starship Collection and last, but certainly least, that 4+ thingy with the blue teddy bear. There are supposed to be three sets with 4x VIP points, which are the UCS Venator, UCS X-Wing and the TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up. -

With all due respect, and this is just my two cents on this spoiler scenario, if merely talking about the first 3 episodes can be seen as spoiler risk, which it definitely could be, maybe the line should be even tighter and not even allow people to talk about new stuff immediately in the first place. As what is a spoiler to one person, might not even scratch the surface for another. Where does a spoiler begin, where does it continue, where does it end? Everybody will naturally feel different about it. But if everyone would be aware to wait just this single week, this would minimize the risk of getting spoiled even further. Again, i don't wanna sound out of place or something. I gave my best not to spoil any specific scenes, plot points, neither major nor minor events etc. Instead, i tried to take on the Lego Star Wars angle. -

Yeah, a 1000$+ UCS set absolutely should deliver a stellar minifigure line-up. And exclusivity goes hand in hand with that. But there are better figs to put in there, like Krennic and the Emporer's Advisors. While Mas Amedda and Sly Moore feel like a stretch. I also don't like to say better than nothing every single time, as it's, well, not always better. If you can't do something justice, like in the best or most reasonable way possible, you might as well don't do it at all. And leave it at that until you can. In due time, i say yes to both of those things. 8/10 is the score i had in mind as well. Me, to clarify, to some extent. I am not as burned out as some of you guys (and maybe girls) are. But i am getting up there... slowly but surely. But yeah, like i said, definitely becoming tired in the Battle Pack department. On that topic, bring on more OT themed Battle Packs again. In a more consistent manner, pretty please. Not just one every three years or so. Appreciate it. To be fair, this is how intended it to be. Yet i was almost worried i would be the only one to notice. Um, yes there are. Although that depends on the scale of the set. For a typically small Duel set in the 25 bucks price range, it would obviously only include Yoda and Sheev. Make it a little bigger, say double than that, which given the source material is entirely possible, then sure at least Mas Amedda would have good chances to be included as well. This would not be the first time a desirable, exclusive minifig made it in a Duel Set it had no business with in the movies whatsoever. Because i don't remember Poggle the Lesser having such a big role in the Duel on Geonosis. Yes, that set happened a dozen years ago and it would be foolish to take it for granted now, but still... this scenario already happened. And to be fair, all Mas Amedda does in the movies is to stand around menacingly and drop the occasional one liner. So it's not like his presence would be any more substantial in the UCS Death Star. Ah okay. I actually was reading some of your postings about the UT-AT situation at one of the usual places yesterday. But i wasn't paying closer attention to the poster, so i didn't realize it at the time. I don't know why, but without someone mentioning it, i always forget about the UT-OT needing a remake as well. And yes, the 41st legion are probably the most prominent troops who are still due to be remade with helmet holes and all. I would be surprised if we don't see any of them next year. I'm kinda going back and forth on this. On one hand, i think all this "it's too dark and violent for kids for Lego to release this toy" is somewhat of an myth. For the longest time, it was claimed this is the reason why Lego would not do another Mustafar Duel set, until that happened again. Many kids have watched these movies anyways, so is it really that much of a big deal, i thought. However, on the other hand, Andor is a show meant to be for a more mature audience, the setup is quite different. And yes, season 2 is probably be even darker than the first one. The question is... does that speak for or against it? And is this one scene enough to prevent Lego doing an additional set that is based on a different episode and characters? For a show that children should have no business watching anyways? I mean they surely would not stop seeing the appeal of a TIE Avenger because of certain unrelated scenes that are not suitable for them. And Lego has to be at least aware of this as well. Yeah, i feel like if Lego had a problem with the gritty and grounded nature of Andor after the first season, we would probably not even gotten the U-Wing for season 2. One, of course, doesn't necessarily rule out the other. -

For the sake of improved stability alone, i have to give it to the new Super Battle Droid mould. It's superior over the old one in every way. Although, it could have used a red dot for the thermal sensor. We might have to wait one more decade for that to happen, too. As for their backs, the something similar still applies to the B1's. Like they got the stud to connect something, but there is no - for lack of a better word - "backpack" attached to it. Thanks for clearing this up. I got a little lost on this funny mess. Thank you for taking your time, too. I definitely got confused about certain things, by mixing up more or less reliable sources altogether. And since you are mentioning your DM's, you are in this leaker business, too, i assume? I'm obviously still getting to know people in here. And thus, interacting with a lot of fresh faces right now. Last but not least, my aforementioned power fantasy of the 41st showing up in a future UT-AT can now become a reality again. -

Okay, now even the confusion is confused. So let me get this straight... Originally, the 75413 was supposed to be a UT-AT and 75414 was meant to be a smaller Turbo Tank, which later turned out to be a RTG set. Then, the 75413 UT-AT rumour was replaced with some sort of tank vehicle, while 75414 was specified to be a new Snow Speeder. Then again, it was claimed to be a Turbo Tank. Lastly, the 75413 got changed into the RX-200 Falchion-Class Assault Tank, until all options were left open... All of this not necessarily in this exact order. But now, given that i got you right, the 75413 turns out to be a Turbo Tank and set 75414 remains unchanged. Holy clone cannoli, this chaos makes the 2024 Death Star/Star Destroyer debacle feel like foreplay. -

For the love of personal preferences... please don't. Even letting alone the fact of the 20th ROTS anniversary, both of those figs scream Yoda Vs. Palpatine Duel set... either as System Scale or Diorama Collection. In case of the latter, a set depicting the scene where the Emperor declares the Galactic Empire would work as well. The 41st legion will obviously pair with the upcoming UT-AT. This has been my power fantasy, when the original 75413 was still believed to be replaced with the Clone Turbo Tank. Jokes aside, as Lego is constantly re-releasing Clone legions with the updated armor style, new Kashyyyk Troopers will be only a matter of time anyways. Yeah, i can relate to that as well. When i review something and form an opinion for myself, i always try to judge the whole package. Don't wanna be too praising, don't wanna be too harsh. In other words, i wanz to avoid to view things in black and white... literally in Dedra's case. By now, everybody and their mother knows that Lego is having trouble printing light colors on dark torsos or legs. Yeah, this known fact ultimately doesn't help matters. And yeah, it's unfortunate this is the case in here, too. But when everything else about it is pretty spot on, it hardly ruins the minifigure as a whole. Overall, it's still a good figure, with just one disappointing, yet unsurprising flaw in the skipped leg day department. I swear to the maker again... and i say this a Clone person: If Lego releases just one more 501st Battle Pack in the near future... I will write considerably morally questionable things about it. Gotta get those ~40 figs in there, i guess. -

Having just catched up to Andor, without - of course - going into spoiler territory, i swear to the maker... If they don't do the TIE Avenger some much deserved justice next year, it might go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities in Lego Star Wars history. And at this point, that says something. After all, new news to be sure, but not necessarily welcome ones. Still disappointed about the UT-AT not happening. Maybe leakers just saw a blurry or preliminary image of the set and associated the minifigures with this vehicle. Like... why on earth wouldn't they? It's the only thing these troops ever showed up with on screen. So it's crazy Lego didn't do both at once. But as they are able mix and match figures with sets and scenes as they please, the UT-AT could still come out later on. Just glad the Galactic Marines are still happening. In my eyes, that's at least much better than releasing a UT-AT without them. And yes, considering the very low piece count (not even a big price pro piece ratio kinda guy), there absolutely has to be more than 4 true minifigs. Yep, like just implied, at this price point, they better be. Even with two new helmet moulds, this set probably got no good excuses to not match the AT-TE minifig line-up. Oh woah... Just started to look up your set ideas. I barely scratched the surface, but already found a lot of cool concepts. Would definitely want to buy a whole lot of them in a heartbeat. Well done. By the way, those reasonable price points make me all nostalgic. While the fact, that quite a few of your projects still haven't been officially made by now, does not make me nostalgic. Yeah, filling up the MTT with Battle Droids is quite obviously a logical decision, but i hope there will be least some variety to them. We are long overdue for another B1 Commander and an Security Droid. As for the V-19, the inclusion of TCW Obi-Wan with arm printing would be a sight to see. In that regard, some more consistency for main characters would go a long way. If TCW Mace Windu can have printed arms in an even cheaper playset, i see no reason why Kenobi can't. Just the men? Whew, i thought it would be about the woman and children, too!
