Because CITY and Creator are these MAIN LINE themes, with story and characters. This is a quite good example. This continues Pirates. It is related.

I'm talking about themes. Real themes. Not for example Ideas or Icons. Themes with story, characters, vehicles and locations. That you can somehow compare to Harry Potter, Star Wars or Sonic for example. Creator is 1 of my favourites. It is some how super COOL to get brick build horses in modern set 2025.

Point of this TOPIC is that we had about 20 originals themes / per year. NOW 2025 we have about 5 and in end of 2026 about 3.... IN-HOUSE THEMES? Do I have to write here what happens next?

Some how I found TLG's own creations more inspiring. For example the LEGO Movie 1 and 2 are actually very CREATIVE. Now Dreamzzz represents TOP DESIGN. It is very high quality theme. You have to see set a live to understand how good they are. Not all of them but at least 50 % of them.

My point was that when I see the SW spy, figure I have also, I see SW spy. Even I MOC it a bit. It is still generic SW figure without any creativity. We might even see SW going down next few years. AND the main reason is a lack of creativity. That theme repeats itself, similar to Superhero themes. We might even witness downfall of Marvel and DC, movies and lego.

You are saying that well known figures from STAR WARS are fine with OWN universe. For example Castle. That 1 SPY, could be from time of "Black Death", the plague. BUT when I look at it I hear Han Solos voice and so on. That is not a good thing. Now once again you get your SW spaceships. Slave 1 with new colors. I some how feel bad for SW people. They just don't understand the beauty of LEGO..

DAY 1 both of them. I have preached hear every day about CREATIVITY and we have theme like Dreamzzz... Let's buy ALL sets, maybe TLG will listen and develop this theme even further. Submarine as a concept is amazing. Getting it with "small amount" of insanity is even better!

This is just an EXAMPLE. In Star Wars, Harry Potter, DC, Marvel, Game Themes you get always same boring characters. This mf however comes to my OWN Castle universe. Before that I have to give him a back story. Maybe even a new name. New weapon & accessories. An Ally. Is he a BOUNTY HUNTER working for Black Falcons >> order to capture Lion Knight's Queen. (Then blackmail Lion Knight's to give some randoms). ... Maybe he travels only night time. He eats wolfs in forrest. So his BIGGEST opponent is Beastmaster (Wolfpack). This Black Hunter needs an ally. Could it be an owl. And so the story continues. Where he can stay? Maybe there could be a massive inn where no one ask your name or where you come.

Could you consider some of the Dreamzzz... mini figures in your OWN Castle Kingdoms? (for example I just bought small raven and those minifigures are like Castle fantasy world, 5/5)

I have only 6 Dreamzzz... sets. I have made 5 MOC's from 5 of the sets. Today I bought that small raven. Problem is money. There are many LEGENDARY sets! Summer is also quite close. For some reason many of the ALTERNATIVE BUILDS have been very interesting so I have to buy doubles.

Brick build birds, dragon, BUT frog was mold. 2 Black Falcons, Blacksmith and skeleton prisoner. 1 shield. and so on... very nice to see TLG puts effort to Castle.

Good point! I try to collect Dreamzzz... sets. Not all of them BUT sci-fi and some doubles. Next is that terrible Green car. I will buy 2 because I need car and motorcycle. Then I MOC them and change colorscheme.

Duckbricks, Brick Fanatic, Jangbricks, Alex Nunes, Ashnflash, Building Together, Brick Monarch, Bricking up brad... and list goes on and on...

Point is that there are way too many LICENSED themes. 1.) In year 2030 there are only CITY and Friends 2.) Monkey Kid, Ninjago, Dreamzzz, all discontinued 3.) 50 % LEGO sets are licensed GAME themes 4.) Star Wars, Harry Potter, Superheroes, Minecraft are in TOP-5 themes 5.) Don't be creative >> just watch MOVIE, play GAME or follow TV SHOW ... And so LEGO has changed completely.

You like what you like. Point is that we are loosing ALL in-house themes 2026-2030. That is future of LEGO. So maybe for you it is ok to just buy SW and Marvel but I want CREATIVE themes. We probably won't get Castle, Pirates, Space, Western back, or even Adventurers... BUT after Dreamzzz... it would be a real NIGHTMARE to have a period without any COOL lego themes. Think about Modern Under Water Agent theme, Alien Sci-fi theme, maybe Monster Fighters 3000. Or Cyberpunk theme. I have no idea what TLG is planning. Maybe new in-house themes are LIVE-ACTION Movies related.

Galaxy Explorer like Lion Knight's Castle are BOTH anniversary sets. They are best LEGO can make. I have both on them next to me. 3rd set is Optimus Prime which is also in my LEGO self. Those 3 came in 2021-2022. All 3 are MASTERPIECES. Blacktron Spaceship is 5/5 set easily. If you tell something else - you don't understand LEGO at all.

So you are saying let's have ONLY licensed themes? No creativity. Think about it. Year 2026 and only 1 original idea, Ninjago. Dreamzzz is ending and so on...
