    There are quite COOL weapons in those LOTR sets. Rivendell, Barad-Dur, for example. BUT for me impossible to buy those. They are LICENSED and a bit too expensive.

    This YouTube channel is one of the best. This YouTube channel hosts actually know EVERYTHING about Castle. New and old. There is Official Castle Lore, made by TLG. All Castle related sets and minifigures, animals are part of that universe. That is why it is so exciting to get 2 new factions from LEGO. Now we just to figure out the story behind all of it.

    So Lion Knight's are from France. Black Falcons probably even from Britain. Orcs are like barbarians from Roman Empire.

    YEAR 2022 - I own all these sets from Icons theme: 1.) Lion Knight's Castle 2.) Galaxy Explorer 3.) Transformers Optimus Prime There are 90' anniversary CASTLE and SPACE + licensed Optimus Prime. LEGO makes a lot of amazing sets. TY <3

    Red and with, England, Island of Britain. Medieval times... 1st against Vikings, then England vs Ireland and so on. Then it was rime of "Game of Thrones" ... civil war like situation. Almost. It is great to see LEGO to respect history. Even Castle theme is fantasy for me.

    For example Icons. There are both legos own and licensed. For those who are so amazed about this discussion - this is not anyway new thing. Year by year more and more licensed sets. For example gaming themes. LEGO has changed almost to Super Mario, Sonic, Fortnite, Minecraft -company. That is a terrible situation if it continues like that.

    Quite possible future of LEGO CITY theme 2026-2030. We won't see for example Adventurers BUT adventurers in jungle. City/Jungle.

    I understand that Speed Champions BOSS went to CITY department. Now CITY is evolving like we have never seen before. CITY in 2030 will be MASSIVE theme. Probably 100-200 sets a year. From cars to Adventurers like things. From regular NASA Space to Sci-fi, Star Trek, Alien, The Martian like settings. From Arctic to under water. Almost like Atlantis. Robot world rollercoaster is our world in the future. There are animals but also police, almost Agents / Ultra Agents atmosphere. Movie like sets. Under City there are coming probably 30-40 sub themes. CITY will have characters who we meet every year. They evolve. We have TV-shows and probably even a LIVE-ACTION movie. "Future City".

    So we have to count number of LICENSED sets and number of IN-HOUSE sets. For me LEGO is IN-HOUSE. Otherwise I would not do this every day. (Dreamzzz + Castle + Space).

    I have to say, I 100 % agree. We have HYBRID THEMES. Then fully LICENSED and IN-HOUSE themes. (AND guess what? Today I will buy a Dreamzzz set. That horrible coloured car/motorbike. Neon Yellow. BECAUSE creativity, 2 in 1 / 3 in 1. Not some same licensed boring sets like SW, HP or Game Themes, Super-BORING-Heroes).

    I just try to say that because Ninjago was and is so popular - there were no need interesting new in-house themes. Also even story of Dreamzzz is ending... we don't know when there is coming new theme and if we are very unlucky it could be some terrible theme. Like Vidiyo.

    I'm starting to think Ninjago spoiled everything. It was success so LEGO did put anymore effort new IN-HOUSE themes... I really hope they discontinue Monkey Kid and Ninjago.

    Themes are not just badges. They are obviously the HEART of LEGO.

    MAB, great points. Actually CITY is a MASSIVE theme in 2025 and even BIGGER 2026.

    It is Creator theme. 3 in 1. Brick build and so on. We have to consider those. Maybe 2026 comes ICONS line castle set. 1 build not 3 in 1. If we count together all Castle related sets / things after Castle theme discontinued - well WOW! Quite a lot of effort. Even the GHOST is coming in different set. (monsters)

    What you think? Rumor has it we are not Castle related. There is not any stories about us. We are ALONE in The Official LEGO universe. - WHO SAYS THAT!!?? - Well BIG guys on the forum. - a forum? - YES! Eurobricks... they know everything about LEGO. They are experts... - So Creator and CITY and other MAIN-LINE THEMES, all of them ... no characters, no story, no castle???
