Well, 1 thing is sure we will NEVER see "year of Castle". Those will be only CITY subthemes. (Space and F1).

I really hope LEGO continues this 2 in 1 / 3 in 1 concept upcoming IN-HOUSE themes. Children should build more and same with us. MAYBE lego has gone too difficult.

I think LEGO puts EXTRA effort for SW and HP.

Well some say that Creator is NEW Castle theme. Also Pirates and even Space.

I actually MOCed a bit my LKC yesterday. It is too pale grey, walls and towers so I make some details with dark grey and sand green. It changes overall look a lot.

It looks like a real CASTLE tower. More effort goes HP than for example Icons / Ideas / Creator Castles. Also amazing 3-head dog mold.

I think this TOPIC is actually very important. We have almost half of the themes GAME-THEMES. That means that TLG is lacking imagination.

Dreamzzz is evolving. Those summer sets 2025 are promising: - Shark Submarine - Paint Truck

The whole POINT of this topic is to argue that LICENSED themes are actually killing LEGO. We see more and more licenses and same time IN-HOUSE themes are discontinued. Now this is turning against TLG. Starting from SW theme. Decline of SW. Sets are not selling so well anymore. Also SW reputation is almost crushed by Disney.

So you are saying this option is not aloud here? Critics against over priced SW theme. The GREY theme. AND now even somebody is saying that SW is good for CASTLE theme.

Yes. I use Nightmare King in my Castle universe. And actually all fantasy characters with white / pink head. Lion Knights, Black Falcons and Nightmare -factions.

LEGO has really put effort into this theme. Franchise Reboot + new movie coming. Scarlett Johansson.

If your name is IN-HOUSE theme, then you should respect for example Castle. Not buy licensed sets all the time. I understand that half of Eurobricks users are SW fan boys, who buy SW sets even OVER-priced, or same vehicles, minifigures year after year. For example if you buy SW sets 5 years in a row. Your LEGO self will be almost GREY.

In my local store. Most popular LEGO store in whole country. SW is not selling well anymore. Sad but true. Obviously I am very happy about that - because I only buy IN-HOUSE themes, like Castle, Space and Dreamzzz...

Quite many YouTubers tell that SW is not selling so well anymore. Also SW popularity in world is declining because MOST SW fans are older.

It looks like that the MOST POPULAR LEGO theme, yes also LICENSED is not selling well anymore. All SW products are on SALE! All of them.

I think price will be 250 €. 150 + 100. That is my estimate. We need more info about how many parts and how many MASSIVE parts. I really like some of the Dreamzzz... sets. There is something so great about when we have these 2 in 1 / 3 in 1 builds... Dreamzzz is also Fantasy and Sci-fi, so I use half of them in my Castle universe. Half in Space/Sci-fi side. + MOC things. If TLG brings new theme to replace Dreamzzz, it has BIG work ahead to impress uss.

Does helmet of minifigure tell what type it is? In my own Castle Universe there are for example: Scout Archer | Spearman Pikeman Swordman Knight Bodyguard King | Queen Their helmets, accessories and weapons differ each other. If soldier gets upgrade, it can have RED/BLUE/YELLOW plume. Then its weapons also change. Only King or Queen can have WHITE plume. Other soldier types are: Drummer Stableboy Man-at-arms Lord This is my ranking system with Lion Knights and Black Falcons. Factions I collect and develop. Both factions have also SPECIAL type of ally. Beast Master Wizard Witch Bird-Man Rat-Man Pig-Man Also both factions have animals. Lion Knights have brown dog and horse, frogs, birds, cows, goats, and so on... Black Falcons have tan horse, grey dog, cat, wolf, falcon, rats. Their armor and weapons differ a bit. Falcons have mostly BLACK. Lions SILVER. There must be 3rd faction. So I'm currently making it from Dreamzzz... they have for example Nightmare King and other powerful SPECIAL soldiers.

I'm starting to think that CASTLE was discontinued because it is difficult to "make it a game" ... It would be a WAR game. The 2016 launch of Nexo Knights saw a larger focus on storytelling and digitalization than seen before in a Castle theme, creating an elaborate universe of good and evil characters. -LEGO
