If you are in the US, and you are planning on making a S@H order of $75 or more, enter the code PSAS to add the set 5611 Public Works for 1 cent. Saw on a flyer that came in my order today. Let me know if it works. darthperson

I'm sorry KimT, I was just trying to clarify some of the confusion regarding the Sith issue, I didn't mean to detract from the talk of the new line up. But back on topic, I got the Spider Droid today, and must say, I can't wait if there is going to be a new Clone BP, because the Phase 1 clones are freaking sweet! The little gear pack/polybag thing is just great, and I love how they included extra parts so you could customize your clones. I'm surprised they didn'y come up with that idea earlier, with the Epi. III ones. I really hope '09 brings more of the Phase 1 clones, as I think TLC struck gold with them. darthperson

Wow! Nice work! All of the Batpods I've seen on here have come out near perfect! If you are looking for suggestions, the only thing I would change is perhaps make the wheels a tad bit bigger. Other than that: amazing!

Greivious isn't a Sith. It says so on Wookiepedia.. And the CW is a new movie, so who says there won't be a new Sith? Just becasue there are only so many in the movies, doesn't mean there aren't anymore Sith. There are many more than four. And Vader does count. And Darth Maul.

Yeah, I can't see that being an official set. That is bigger than mf scale, when most sets are smaller than mf scale. We'll know when we see the pics, you can tell TLC's style.
-
Wow! All of that is great! I love this pic from the village.
-
So they changed the pole design, even after the set was put out? Because in the other reviews I've read of this set, it looks like the old one was used. Its shorter, too, so you would think it would screw things up. I sometimes wonder what TLC is thinking... And I've never heard someone speak so passionately of a box of plastic bricks!

FYI, the Spongebob hospital set is now on S@H darthperson

This set is now on S@H Your welcome. darthperson

Yes, the minifigs ALONE in the DS set probably accout for $50 -$75 of the price...
-
Wait, I half noticed it, but couldn't that SW torso technically violate the liscense terms? Perhaps its just preliminary, as it does look somewhat out of place...
-
Whoa mama! That set is really cool! I can only imagine the price, Probably $100 USD...
-
Haha! Thats just too funny! That was one of my favorite parts of the movie. I wish TLC would give us actual Dark Knight sets. I really want a Joker fig like yours, and the hospital would make a great set. You just keep getting better and better...
-
Awww! Its so cute! I really like it though, even if it isn't minifig scale. It seem that its the latest fad among the Lego community. EB should have a WALL-E contest. darthperson

Wells, Fargo & Company Overland Express & Assay Office
Derek replied to oo7's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wow! I saw this on the front page and got excited, thinking it was a new set, but only to read it was only a MOC, A very nice one, I might add. I love how you made the covered wagon using the Indy truck cloth piece! darthperson Oh ho the Wells Fargo Wagon is-a coming down the street... (Yeah, I am a dork who was in a production of the Music Man a few years ago, none of you probably are even into theater, except maybe Hinckley, I saw his stuff on the user picture thread ) -
SWMAN, Just so you know, the Spider droid is an TRU exclusive, so its not avalible anywhere besides there and S@H. Thanks Faramir, I was gonna post this on Sunday when we go the weekly ad, but I never got around to doing so.

Joey lock, I was scrolling down real fast and saw some box pics real fast and thought they were actual sets!
-
Mine had the Imperial Landing craft the other day for $40. I left it there...
-
WOW! I saw those on Brickshelf, and wanted to come here and see if there was anything on them. I would honestly consider buying one (the clone one) if they became availible for sale. You should send that design to TLC, maybe they would produce them, and give you some $$$ GREAT work! darthperson

All of these sets have the potential to be awesome. (And I think they will be, granted they are in fact real...) But Ahsoka, you have been such a great informer, like commanderbly42 said, don't be too stressed about the pictures. I hope we get some pics of these awesome sounding, possible sets. I know how many of you are upset about the lack of many OT sets, but I honestly think they are running out of (REALISTIC) ideas. If you look at the past few years, most of the OT sets are remakes, with a few exceptions. So with the introduction of new material, TLc is bound to jump on it. darthpersom

Sadly, I think that is the truth. In fact, I thought that from the start, when I noticed how thinly spread they were amongst the sets. And if Ashoka is correct with the '09 set list, the Magnaguard will also be in a battle pack... (I dont know which to do...)
-
Ok. This Confirms it. Why else would LEGO be releasing these products randomly? If a kid wants pirate toys they can buy them from another brand. But pirate buliding toys on the other hand...
-
The two themes arent even remotely similar, so I don't know how that would happen...
-
I'm sorry, but I think these Comic con sets are just a rip-off. Yes the clones might be worth it, but if they didn't include them, no one would buy this set. TLC isn't stupid...
-
Nice. I had a feeling you would use that head...
