Link in 2008 SW pic thread supposedly details Indy sets for 2009. Didnt see this anywhere else on here... In addition "A further six standard release sets are expected in August, spread over all four films." More 2009 Indiana Jones images updated. Special thanks to Kris Abel for these lovely images in the Canadian Toy and Hobby Fair. 7196: Chauchilla Cemetery Battle 7197: Venice Canal Chase 7198: Fighter Plane Attack

Well I think that the list posted of the rumored sets seem realistic, and I have good vibes on it. However, should we be getting bot of those TIE sets, I hope they are the new style, like in the new Death Star. If so, the list seems like a great line up for '09

Oh my God, I'm sorry youve had such bad luck! Especially w/ your mf and bike! I would write to the manager or whoevers in charge at that Discovery place thing. Hope you have a better week... darthperson

So do I! Otherwise I would've bought it. Damn I could've been the first to do a review.

Do you expect us to memorize all the set numbers? Which set is it? dp

I saw the Republic Gunship @ the SuperWalmart in Camilus, New York. It was about $2 cheaper than MSRP, if that makes a difference. Just though I'd give a heads up! Check your local Walmart... dp

Thanks a lot for the review, Brickster! I never had the chance to get some classic town sets, but I wish I couldve! I just wonder why Lego cant release sets like this anymore....

Set Review 3832 Bikini Bottom hospital
Derek replied to Navy Trooper Fenson's topic in LEGO Licensed
Says who? I think the one he has is fine... -
I'm sorry, but TLC and Vestas are making a huge mistake by not having this on wide release. I mean, obviously there is a large group of people willing to fork out some cash for it. This could very well end up on the bestseller list on s@h if Lego would just put it on there. They dont even need to attach Vestas! They can keep the set with the stickers and box that say Vestas, and have a generic version for the general public. dp

Quick question: Are the droid gunship and clone tank exclusives or availible for wide release?

Poor bookless iamded. Why do you want one of these so badly, they're not that great... dp

Heath Ledger Joker *V.1 Finished*
Derek replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I was going to comment on this earlier, but didnt for some reason. This indeed is very nice, I dont know why didn't originally base the figures in the tumble set on the Dark Knight, as thats where the vehicle is from. Once you get that Anakin hair green it will be even better. Even some streaks of green, because if i remember correctly, thats how he looks from what I've seen. dp -
We want the amazing 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant!
Derek replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Me too! that looks like such a great set that would make any city/town more realistic! dp -
Quick! Look! Not mine, just saw it on Brickshelf! What I dont understand is why this will be a company exclusive , as those people probably look at them all day, and why they would a want 3 ft tall one in their house is beyond me. I think if they released this, at least on S@H they could educate the public on the energy source...

Wow! I don't usually do topics like this but this A-wing on Brickshelf is just stunning and seems to be at scale with the minifigure! If TLC were to make a nice set like that I would pay good money for it! -Darthperson

We are possibly going to have a new pirate line and you are excited by a little green plastic baseball cap
-
Just look yourself. Its in the Star Wars forum...

Wow! I searched on Brickshelf and saw pictures that is just amazing! I can only imagine the cost though. Will it be on S@H? Or will it be sold elsewhere? Cant wait! -Darthperson EDIT: Heh, see those cool little chairs on the patio made of the city mudguards?
-
Wow! Thanks for the new pics SirNadroj! I guess this confirms a new Pirates line, all we need now is an official statement from TLC! I mean all sorts of revied pieces such as the cutlass, pirate hat in that castle set, aligators, sharks, monkey, a minifig head with gold teeth and an eyepatch, we all saw this coming, but this seals the deal! When do the new rumored set lists usually show up? August? September? -darthperson

I know you are going to get a buncha crap for the size of those pictures, but that is very nice work! My favorite detail is the angled front stepas of that last buliding. darthperson

By "just two" you mean they need moreto "get it right"? If you mean more diversity, I agree. The least they could do to address that topic is come up with a Community Wokers-like set with more skin tones...

The Twilight is $80 USD? The HSD price looks usd. The Twilight seems more than I thought it would be, as I was expecting at least half of that! And those clone keychains seem really odd w/out all their fancy new gear...

Whichever ones TLC decides to put out, if any...

Set Review 3832 Bikini Bottom hospital
Derek replied to Navy Trooper Fenson's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, that set looks better than I thought! I just might get it if its under $30 USD. I love all the details inside, and it seems to have a better interior than the City hospital... and the new figs look nice...
