They are doing Pirates in '09. But if they do a new Dooku, I hope they do teh same one as for AOTC, just in flesh. I hope they still have the mold for his lightsaber handle...

I don't think so, I love those sets, even though they may be a little <insert that tiresome argument>. I love that truck that has the trailor, the tractor, and the combine harvester.

I think we should keep our eyes on Brickshelf. Someone obviously has the catalouge, as there are pics of 2009 City, Racers, Creator, and Pirates....

Wow. These are amazing despite what you all say. I never had teh chance to get Pirate sets, so these are just great! Things I like: -Yellow/Dk. red on the big ship -GREAT figures -The dark blue boats for the soldiers -The sheer brillance of the smallest sets -The new pieces, telescope, flame, dynamite, dual injected parrot Things I don't: Big Ugly Agents sharks, not much else. Guesstamated Prices 6239-Little cart and pirate barricade, probably the same as Crossbow Defense- $6 6240- Raft and octopus- $10 6241- Island and small boat- $20 6242- Soldiers base thing - anywhere from $40-$60 6243- Big 'ol ship- $70-$80 darthperson, who is already saving his money...

Okay iamded, I noticed these new sets in whung's list.

From Jedi News.com "Shanghai Chase From The Temple of Doom, this includes two cars and the following mini-figs; Short Round, Indiana Jones (different!!) , Willie and two of Lao-Che’s men. Fight on the Flying Wing From Raiders of the Lost Ark, this includes the Flying Wing vehicle, and the fuel car. The mini-figs included are Indiana Jones, Marion, the big German mechanic and a Nazi Pilot. Once again, this is all unofficial rumour, and may turn out to be nothing but wishful thinking. How'd you figure that? But seriously, this looks like a great set, and am planning on making it my next LEGO purchase. How did you ge tis for $25? I almost bought it the other day, the box makes it look so cool. Something about the new clone wars packaging makes you want to buy all the sets on the shelf! Thanks for the review, darthperson

Look at the most recent Bionicle promos there. Those were hunks of cheap plastic. I really think this would be nice if they were real LEGO, but judging by the Bionicle ones, Im not getting my hopes up...

I can almost garuntee you that we won't be getting a monastary set. I thought that that place was one of the most boring in the movie, and I think if LEGO wanted to do another $500 set, they would go for something more iconic.

No, I know there is a difference, it was just that someone meantioned that parents might be upset with troop minifigures, because of the violence, I meant that SW troops are basically the same, just more futuristic.

You know, I think that this movie is very similar to Indy 4. A lot of people go in saying "Oh, this is gonna suck! Its not the same Indy that was 25 years ago!" Well of course its not going to be! This is a new movie, a new take on the Star Wars story, and I think its a good idea that its aimed at a younger audience. That way, the SW legacy will continue for even longer. I really think that this is a smart move by Lucas and co. I've heard just as many good reviews as bad. If you go to see it, don't go in with a negative aditude about it. You will trick yourself into not liking it, which I really think is a shame. (I just realized I started this topic and I think this is the first time I've written in here since! ) darthperson

Which popular phase are you distorting? I've said it before, but TLC would be stupid not to continue with Indy. If its such a financial sucess, its a good indicator we will see Indy again in '09. darthperson

Well, technically, all of the troops in SW are soldiers, so its not much of a difference.
