Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!
Kadabra replied to Zepher's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Still find it kind of silly that there's already a claim and it's not by a JOAT to an investigation-confirmed Townie. Have you Benin contact with the vig about a potential target tonight? If we have contact with the vig, we sort of get a "second third lynch", as we can give him our ideas about kill targets - a potentially very useful tool. *been in -

It was based on his wishy washy post, but he then became defensive and sort of hypocritical. -
Mafia Mafia: Day Two - Lynch Lunch Hour!

No need to ponder my reason for not voting SK - I didn't want to vote a guy for Day 1 nonsense before he had a chance to explain it. If he said he was being serious with that insane troll logic, I probably would've voted him - but I was pretty sure he was joking, and Cultist was being scummy as heck. -

Someone claimed already? Wow. Anyway, my number 1 is still the Cultist. Are you around, FDY? -
Harriet Slutter and the Philosopher's Balls: Chapter 6
Kadabra replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for the feedback, Honckley! I really appreciate the compliments from a guy like you, and I am definite trying to cut the crap. I loved having you as a host and look forward to continuing to be a EB Mafia player. -
Considering I've only played one other game with def and he wasn't Town in it, I'm in no position to meta game him so I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable lynching him. How off is his game, exactly? Is it enough to warrant a lynch without corroborating evidence? I'd really appreciate it if someone would explain the train of thought here before I weigh in on the matter - is def just being less aggressive, or is his play style completely different and less helpful? If it's the latter, I'd be willing to vote him if you think there's something off going on here.

As a note, FoS: Character Name (Player Name) seemed to work better in Jedi Temple than this italic blue stuff is doing (I keep thinking people are potholing things ), if we want to keep doing something like the fake votes. On the main topic, I'm most inclined towards Cultist just for how wishy washy he is, as I said before, so my vote will stay on him unless we need to make a unified decision on someone later on so as to prevent a random kill. The Cult Leader reads more like an over-aggressive Townie who jumped the gun on a vote than a Scum, as I don't believe Scum would come out and proclaim something was 'the best lead of the day' and place the first really solid vote if he knew the player would flip town, and bussing probably wouldn't happen at this point. (That's a thought - any players seeming 'buddy-buddy' at the moment?)
-
I said that because his logic was way off it was likely to be a joke and I wanted to hear from him for clarification, not that I wanted to accuse him.
-
If you believe he's Scum them why not vote for him? Do you know he's Town so you can 'I told you so' us tomorrow? fake Vote: The Cultist (Fred Daniel Yam). At this point, when there is literally nothing solid to go on, there shouldn't be any "I won't vote for him yet"s. do you expect him to produce any evidence? No NAs, the only thing that could produce actual evidence, have come in yet. The only thing we can go on is behavior, so if you find Snake Charmer's suspicious, you should vote him. Actually, I'll take my own advice. Vote: The Cultist (Fred Daniel Yam) for wishy-washyness.
-
Your logic follows, and it's probably the best lead of the day so far - SK may be floundering scum that Snake Charmer was trying to reign in. Not sure I want to vote immediately, but we should definitely apply pressure and see what cracks.
-
It is definitely true that the SK's logic is way off. Every one of us should know that names and roles are randomized, so if he wasn't joking it would be a very odd thing to say. Have we gotten a response from him yet? I don't believe we have, so I'd like t hear his defense before dropping a fake vote on him. Anyway, Un Fake Vote: The Usurper (TrumpetKing)
-
Wow, face palm. Cursed Pill it is. I honestly can't believe that some people have tossed votes on people for D1 weirdness already. Last game I did that in I got two townies lynched, I'd like to think I won't repeat that mistake again. With only one Unvote available, we should be far more cautious with where we place our votes. I think Hinckley's idea (I'd like to think it was based on my FoSs in Jedi Temple, but we all know it's a fairly common idea ) is probably the best, so I'll Fake Vote: The Usurper (TrumpetKing) for being the first to jump on someone with a confusing train of thought (common on D1) and then immediately wasting his Unvote.
-
The Alto Pill sounds nice. Oh no, role playing and unhelpfulness on day one. The horror. If you want to talk baseless accusations, try the guys who jump on jokes like these.

erm, yes. He is certainly here, not wearing a track suit. You should search for the godfather, who isn't wearing a track suit.

Hello there, I'm not a mob boss. You shouldn't kill me.

Harriet Slutter and the Philosopher's Balls: Chapter 6
Kadabra replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No worries, I was being mildly rude and dickish throughout, and my attitude on Day 4 was completely uncalled for. I understand perfectly where you're coming from! -
And this is why you shouldn't listen to me. I hadn't thought of that, good point.

1. 3, including school. 2. or , depending on my snarky levels for the day. 3. I like the inventors being able to pass actions on to vanillas or goons, but it seems like the scum has an advantage (there is no chance for them to pass an invention on to Town or SK, but town might pass on to Scum or SK). The pills seem very swingy, in my opinion, as if vanillas or goons get god, motivator, or lifesaver and are killed very early, then they will have no effect on the game (and with the lifesavers being able to disappear or get taken by scum, the town only having half of a protector suddenly seems underpowered). However, if Town PRs keep getting motivators or lifesavers, then the scum have little chance of winning, but if Scum PRs get motivators and can kill twice a night in addition to a SK on the loose the game will end very quickly, and not in Town's favor. Do you have a plan to eliminate the swing, or do you just hope for the pills to get spread evenly across the teams by chance? Anyway, I'm still very nooby, so I'll trust your judgement on this one. I will win, someday. I will. Trust me.

Harriet Slutter and the Philosopher's Balls: Chapter 6
Kadabra replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Grrrr. I'm a bitch. The first thing I want to do is apologize to def and Esurient for being mean to them, I got carried away by the anonymity and turned "focusing on a target" into "douchery".mI also think that I was a little closed-minded throughout the whole thing, and if I hadn't dismissed Langston or Firuz as just noobs or inactive townies and actually analyzed their posting and voting, I would have played a lot better. I am definitely proud of myself for picking up on Purplonia, though. First not-Town I've ever gotten in a Mafia game, woot! (Still no scum, though. ) thanks to Hinckley for hosting this, it was great! I loved the anonymous accounts, although I feel that they did contribute to our general bad attitude, the prevention of meta gaming was cool and we really had to scum hunt and analyze. Just too bad none of us were any good at it. One day I will be on a winning team. One day. -
I'm just interested to see what tribes their Speedor and weapon cards will be specific to. I'm thinking probably Wolves and something, considering that they share Speedor molds.

Harriet Slutter Mafia sign-ups
Kadabra replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Nothing fixes incompetence like practice. Sign me up! 1. Sandy's Fairy Tale Mafia and Masked Builder and K-Nut's Jedi Temple Mafia 2. I have no life and a cupboard full of Cheerios. I think I'm good. 3. See above... 20 hours is easy. 4. EB mafia Night Zero opening post... "Where's Shadows? I gotta tell him my role!" 5. Their votes are the Town's most powerful weapon... Also, they're much better mislynch targets than Town PRs. 6. Totes. I'm up for crazy concoctions, those are my favorite things.- 74 replies
