What faction from Castle do you represent? Is it the loyal Crownies, looking to establish their domain in a world cursed with darkness? Or, is it the Skellies, who mangle flesh under the word of the evil wizard? Or the Dwarves, proud and mighty, wanting nothing more than a chunk of gold and a barrel of beer? The mythical and not-confirmed-as-of-this-date elves, with their mystical weapons and magic of the forest? Or last but not least the Orc Trolls, along with their larger cousins they ransack and raid with their deadly vehicles of war and proud military elites? Choose wisely, friends! For this is an age of evil and sorcery as much as it is an age of knighthood and beer! NOTE: This is only for the modern castle theme! The Fantasy Era, not Dragon Knights, Original Castle or Wolfpack etc. Maybe I'll make one for those past people- I liked Dark Forest the most even though they didn't get too much.

It's not that I hate it. But it's hard for someone who wants to collect dwarves, a favourite faction, who only has one small war machine and a base mainly meant for resources, not war (not in a bad way, I should buy the mine soon.)

Last years castle was better, but only due to a lack of organization this year. Four orc vehicles, one good guy tower with a cart, barricade and dragon; and a random Dwarf Machine. It's like they expect you to have bought the earlier sets, as to have a "frame" for everything. The vehicle accompanies the mine, but there's a lack of any base- just Orc vehicles to fight it with- and far too many of those! A Crownie tower and stuff comes with the ORC sets I don't exactly want to collect. There is also a lack of two of my favourite factions: Dwarves and Skellies. Combining this year, we've got an impulse chariot and war machine for both of them- two dwarves and one skellie. And hundreds of useless Orcs? Along with the overuse of Orc Generals in some sets? Crownies at least get a tower and supplies, but there are so many Orcs- last years was understandable- an introduction to the Orc Raids of this year. But the lack of any buildings and skeletons/dwarves is just a pain. People LOVED the mine mostly for the dwarves. The orcs and troll of course, but the dwarves had the most appeal. So, we get two dwarves this year. Great. I like their vehicle a lot, at least. It looks like a wild contraption and though people thought it was ugly, it's like the dwarves-practical and efficient. It even looks cool if you ask me. The Orc Wheel was wonderful, people really liked that. But now with an airy 30$ set for the Orcs, a great 40$ set for the... Orcs, and an 80$ set for the... Orcs, I feel like I need a faction change. No 400 piece dwarf vehicles? No mine extensions? Not even a Dwarf Impulse?! Skellies got it bad with only one chariot and all. Last year, they didn't exactly rule either! The Crownies always seemed to have more. Dwarves are opinionably better than the others, and deserve more. The Advent's nice and I'm sure some people will love the chessboard, but in the end, it's the LEGO that counts. I'm just starting to collect now, and with Dwarves Mine out of Shop@Home, I can only really buy that machine. It's nice, but it DEFENDS THE MINE! Dwarves need something fast. The Orc Vehicles are nicely designed (the Wagon seems like a rip off for being only 10$ less than the Siege Tower and yet having half the pieces, as well as its airy design.) but it's unbalanced, and to be honest, not counting the mine defender, ship, wheel or siege tower, the lack of variety really ruins it for me. Only 2 possible new dwarves, and they're practically the same. I expected more, but still, design wise, the sets are nice. It's just that the wagon looks pretty effortless.

Doing stuff like this takes skill; SNOT's fun and not neccesarily difficult but to get it to look good can be a problem with some. Nice!

Joking, lol, it's a good thing no one's that insane.

An understanding! Thank troll! Hinckley, I thought before I posted. Comparing Mega Blocks Dragons to Lego Ones, they're not much different. I like the dragons, but they're <insert that tiresome argument>. The troll isn't, no clue why some called it lame. The dragons aren't, but they could be so much better. It's probably still worth buying, and maybe when and if I pick up that warship, I'll probably enjoy it.

Ironic and Clever. What would the Joker look like medievally? Or the Penguin?

Perfect. Don't change it, please, make some more Western People! Better yet, a home for them! A station wagon! I'm going to start eating Red 1X2 Flat Tiles again. My doctor said I was too addicted and it could become dangerous but... why NOT take the chances...

Overlord MOC's. From the game. I love the characters, such a vibrant game- and you don't have to be this huge gaming obsessor to like it! (I like games but I can miss some without crying.)
-
I guess I'll never find my way. But to rewrite the first question, the dragons look kind of <insert that tiresome argument> IMHO, like the Mega Blocks ones you are forced to see when you go down the building aisle. It's the eyes. I like it, but I dunno... that armour on the green one also sets me off a little.

I like those minis. Looks like a good idea, and they're bigger than before.

Welcome mon ami, here's hoping that Space treats you well! But I can't bring myself to introduce you to a friend of mine with a very close name...

I don't trust this sneaky little wossname... Welcome to EB!

Welcome Vadim! We're always updated on Castle (your favourite theme you say?) and it's almost time for another release, so get yer horses ready!

Listen- those Castle sets, the ones with dragons. Many people have claimed that the giant troll is "<insert that tiresome argument>", but I really love it. The dragons remind me of those Mega Blocks things you see when you go down the brick aisle. Wretched things. but I sort of like the dragons in the Lego sets. They unfortunately seem <insert that tiresome argument>, especially the one from the troll ship. The armour- puffs out. The dragons otherwise- those ones from the skeleton sets? I actually sort of like them. But maybe it's the eyes and lack of detail. Maybe it's the stubby, obnoxious legs. I don't know, it just seems... young. Also, how come no one has castle sets? It's a shame- only a few Castle sightings in the US? We've got most of them I think, the mine the wheel the impulses and the Mine Defender. Maybe the Siege Tower, and the cart. Not the ship either. How come there are no reviews? I'd like to know before I buy, if I ever do. Either ye Eurobrickers need to lay off the Duplo or Bricklink-it! Don't mind me, just looking for answers.

Nice armour. Great helmet, that's the kind of ideas we look for in a master builder. That head is unfitting, I can see what you were aiming for completely (Juggernaut's eyeholes) and I know it's the only fleshie head you have- but the one from Doc Ock's Fusion Lab might look better if you felt like investing some money.

Now THAT's cool. I love the handcuff throttle, it's a neat little plane with loads of features.

[Brickfilm] My star wars stop-motion animation
Dovchenko replied to Millacol88's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Nice, good framerate and all, but in my opinion the fight was too difficult to see. All you could see barely was Kenobi doing the same spin move over and over to chop off limbs. Grievous lost, and then the speeder came in, which was nice. But again, if there's a highlight to the story, it's important that the audience sees every detail! Very nice though, 10/10. Keep it up! -
I don't really buy Spongebob, but it looks awesome this year! That makes 2 Bikini Bottom "Normal" Citizens- a Doctor and a Bus Driver. Plus Patrick, Squidward Spongebob and Sandy as well as Mr Krabs etc etc...

Yes, welcome to Star Wars! Make yourself at home. At the top of the forums are help topics, including pictures of the latest unreleased sets and reviews. Everyone asks questions daily on here, so don't be shy about... well, asking anything!

I like the style and everything, the only flaw I can notice it the juniorization of that one-piece boat. The truck's well done, I can just sit back and appreciate that. Looks a little cartoony, but there's something I like. The helicopter is genius, the lifeboat thing being my favourite of the models. Just look at that! Orange JSF wings and a few pieces equals an amazing extra. Worth looking into, guys!

It's been on shelves in the Toys R' Us nearby my house. I love those castle sets, easily one of my favourite themes by appearance. I'm ashamed to say I'm neglected those beauties for years. My last Castle was The Final Tournament from 2004's KK2 , and I'd better get going. I love that new wizard too, and the Troll Battle Wheel is actually pretty cool with its spring launching missile. The only problem is that I wished I would have gotten them on release date, I love the Batman sets but otherwise Castle reigns.

A terrible blow to an adult fan of lego?
Dovchenko replied to General Zen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'll admit, I'm not really that much of a TFOL. I come, I look, and I love talking to people here. I have never MOC'd and never plan to get too attached to LEGO. But I'm impressed with this huge database. I could never have a problem with an AFOL. Or, a TFOL. -
I guess, but he looks sick in it. It makes him fit in with a Clone Battalion better, like a general. Too many Jedi and Sith wear robes these days...
