Dak realizes for the first time that Guts is entirely human, and he doesn't have the balance or speed of hands that elves, or quarter-elves for that matter, have. He blushes, realizing his mistake. He then resumes twirling, but he doesn't throw the dagger this time. Maybe a Throwing Knife puchase was in order when he got back to the Hall.......His thoughts turned to the Hall, and, without knowing what he was doing, he could see what was going on there. He saw Alexis, the elf, talking to a Mage who he didn't know, and he saw a chicken fighting with a spirit. He also saw the troll Skrall, who had been so kind to him before, go out the door. Dak jumped up, as if a pin had been stuck in his arm. His eyes were wide with shock from the last thing he had seen. He had seen someone who looked like him! She was a girl, but still, she had pale skin like his! Dak sat down on the floor again, pondering. How had Nerwen known what he was going to see? Did she have future sight and wasn't telling him? He resumed twirling the knife, more for relaxation than practice. Seeing Guts glaring at him, he quickly stowed the knife in it's sheath and started sharpening his swords. OOC: Name's Dak Shadeaux now, remember? It's really my fualt though, I forgot to update my sig with his real name. IC: "Should we explore the alcove more? Mine it, maybe, with Gorg's Pickaxe?" Dak's eyes still never leave the floor, but his hands move constantly, blurring with motion as he rapidly twirls his knife in his hand. Suddenly, he whips around, and the knife flies through the air, burying itself up to the hilt in the dirt less than half a dozen inches away from Gorg's foot. Dak walks over and retrieves it, then begins twirling again, this time hitting the dirt wall a few inches away from Nerwen. Finally looking up, Dak says:" I appear to be a bit out of practice." He then begins twirling the knife again, winding up for another throw.

Okay, after the epic crash-and-burn of Shadow in the Dark Rex, which I will not post here to preserve what little pride I have left, I have decided to make a new series that is sure to amaze: Through the Ages. I will be making all the versions of a character in one document and then post it here. Here's the first, Echo Through the Ages: As always, pic is link to bigger version on Flickr. C & C welcome!

1.) No, you can leave your character as it is, or you can update them if you want. 1a.) Yes, you cna change your character's clothes, but you cannot change their face unless the new face resembles the old one, so that your character is still recognizable as the same person. 2.) No, you can only take one picture of your character and leave it at that. Look at Brickdoctor, he's finished 3 Quests and hasn't changed his character picture once. 3.) No, the gems allow your character to use spells of the gem's element. (e.g. you get a Topaz, your character can cast Lightning spells.) That's how I understand it, someone correct me if I'm wrong!

"Thank you Nerwen, these will come in handy later." Dak slips his swords silently into their sheaths, wraps the whip around his chest, and sticks the dagger inside his boot. OOC: New picture coming soon, but I can't get my D@mn camera to work.

I really hope that, if they make Freeze, he looks like this: That would be awesome!

"I haven't cut it in a few months, though, so I think by the time we get back to the Hall, I might have to find someone to cut it." Dak's eyes never left the floor as he spoke, he seemed to be almost in a trance. He had never felt like this before. These heroes now knew the last and darkest of his secrets, and now he was like an open book to them. They knew what drove him, what hardships he had faced, and most of all, who he was. It felt strange to have no secrets, but not entirely unpleasant. His perceptions had grown with his concience, and through his eyes, he could see the emotions in the cavern. He could see Sarick's embarressment, Nerwen's calculating view, Gorg and Knifk's exitement, and Guts's passive interest. But now, he could not only see people's emotions, he could see what their emotions were targeted at as well. Now, he felt as if his power had grown, and for the first time, he wondered what he would do once he made it to advanced training. He considered for a long time, waiting for Nerwen to respond to his request.

Yes, I've been waiting for that mech! Also, I watched the first episode of Rise of the Snakes, but I lost my interest when the second episode had crappy quality. I might get back to it later, but I'll find a different video. I really hate low definition.

You mean, with Batman looking like his movie version and the villains looking cartoon-y? That would be pretty cool, but Bane would be an issue. Would they make a face accesory piece or a print? I think print, but TLG has suprised me before......
