Exactly, just like those £10 gimmick marvel sets from last year. All Lego needs to do is make a minifigure scale Bat-Pod add in the Dark Knight trilogy (best live action) versions of Man and Jonkler and it is an automatic best-seller. It’s things like these that makes me think that Lego’s trying to get rid of the DC license. I really want Lego to make a Kingdom Come Red Robin for the customisation opportunities. IYKYK. 😈

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I’m actually curious why Lego’s not been making Bad Batch and Andor sets. They are not just better content than BOBF but they also have more cool vehicles and characters that kids would prefer in comparison to say the Mod Bikers. Can someone please explain to me why Lego refuses to make Bad Batch sets despite it being the main show for the majority of the child demographic. I would love a Rho-Class shuttle and CX clone assassin ship. -

Are we thinking that Bob’s starfighter is going to be a conventional Delta 7 or ETA 2 Jedi starfighter or Lego’s going to make a completely original build? -
Ok so we know that as of the Batman mech coming this summer that mechs are coming to DC. Who do we think will get one in the future? Ones that actually make sense/ I would like: Lex Luther, Green Lantern, Steel, Sinestro, Bat-Wing, Blue Beetle, Brainiac and Cyborg. (Let me know if I missed any characters that actually make sense) Ones Lego will realistically make: Jonkler, 3 more Batman and Harley Quin.

Agreed. However I wouldn’t mind if it was Pink and had an astromech socket for R2 KT. Do we have any predictions on what the second figure in that set may be? I believe it was confirmed to not be an astromech. I liked Mandr’s theory of it being a Phase1 clone pilot, despite not being a fan of his channel. I would love it if it was Fordo. Mostly because it would shut up all the annoying ‘Clone’ stans who are whining that it’s unfair that we not getting any Clone sets this August. -
I don’t see how those two points are related. And the first point to Lego DC. But believe me I would love it if they did some DC space sets. (Green Lantern content would be guaranteed) What do you mean Star Wars is participating in it? It’s literally all set in space all the time. You’re on your own with this Jonkling today mate. The Aslume went Sane today. You can resume tomorrow.

Supersized Minion officially revealed. https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/despicableme/about Lego probably saying Happy April Fools. But the real sets might get revealed tomorrow. -

Grogu’s Escape is frankly overpriced in my opinion. But an excellent build, phenomenal craftsmanship from the designers, oh and the speeder is alright I guess. Sith Infiltrator looks incredible. It’s just not for me. Saving up for the Death-Star playset I just want more info on that soon. -

I didn’t actually mean Rex’s Y-Wing specifically just as an example. I was just saying that the set is probably going to be something really awesome by itself if Lego expects it to sell well with Young Leia as an anniversary figure. On another note. Do you guys think we could get some August wave updates tomorrow? Last year we got updated information on the swamp speeder (it was revealed to be 332nd) and Yavin play-set (we got the full fig-list) as well as the September wave. And the year before that it was revealed that Cody and the 212th would be in the AT TE around April 1st. -

Do we know whether the young Leia set is definitely a creature build? If not, watch it be something awesome like a Rex’s Y-wing. It’s the only way people are gonna buy that set. I don’t think enough kids and adults alike would actually want a Young Leia. -

That’s pretty cool. It probably won’t be what the anniversary set ends up being but this is a pretty good and a very wholesome guess overall. Well done, excellent mock. Seeing that the promo short film on the Lego website took place on the Tantive IV, and that the Hallway is Modular could this possibly be an add on for the hallway? Especially looking at the Stormtrooper and Rebel fleet trooper figures. -

Damn, you really forgot to add in the Cowboy hat. I’m honestly just wondering what the build is going to be. Is it a building? I don’t know why, and it most definitely won’t be, but the emphasis on generic rebels and stormtroopers makes me consider that this is an add-on of sorts to the Death Star set, but with special heads for the 501st legion guys. Or, could this possibly be the Beach Troopers and Rebel Friend set we’ve been waiting for? -

So with anniversary figures, now that I know the story behind R2 KT and realise that she represents the best of the fanbase, I have come to this conclusion. 5 hydrogen bombs vs 1 coughing baby. I do not need to elaborate because you all know who the coughing baby is. On a related note: if the anniversary set is indeed my theory of being based off the 501st charity, and if Lego does a hasbro and donates a hefty percentage of profits to charity, it will satisfy both army builders and people who want to donate money to charity. I myself would happily buy this instead of a clone battle pack or maybe even the Tantive Hallway because it may only be around a few months. -

What exactly are we thinking that this anniversary set is supposed to be? A battlepack? If so we’re getting a lot of stormtroopers this year. Edit: What if it’s a set based on the 501st legion charity? -

I just researched R2 K2. I take it back, this is an amazing figure to have. The story behind her creation is really heart-warming. So you know what, this is a better choice than young Leia. -

Some imperial military hardware because frankly the empire has been neglected in ground forces compared to the clones. Stormtrooper battlepack (£18.99) 2 stormtroopers, stormtrooper commander (with a new plastic pauldron similar to doctor strange’s cape) and a shock trooper. (with backpack) Build would be an imperial checkpoint. ITT (£59.99): 2 stormtroopers, 1 stormtrooper commander, 2 Tank Drivers and an imperial Lieutenant. Imperial security gunship (£49.99): imperial scout trooper (from Jedi: fallen order), scout trooper commander, imperial shock trooper and a ISB Lieutenant. Modular imperial bunker (£149.99) can connect with modular series. Figures: 2x imperial technician, imperial captain, imperial army officer (green uniform), 2x scout troopers and 2x stormtroopers. Victory class Star Destroyer (£149.99): This would be a homage to the empire of Legends. Figures: Captain Pallaeon, Admiral Daala, Rukh and 2x Vader’s Fist troopers. Long Live The Empire! Please let me know what you guys think. And whether you agree that the empire has been neglected when it comes to army building. -
